Kadetska ženska vaterpolo reprezentacija se nakon priprema u Splitu uputila u mađarski Gyor gdje će od nedjelje igrati na Europskom prvenstvu za igračice rođene 1991. godine i mlađe.

Po prvi put ženski vaterpolo kreće na jedno natjecanje sa popriličnom dozom optimizma, jer se premaviđenim i prikupljenim informacijama može dosta toga napraviti, a i ova generacija djevojaka je izuzetno talentirana i to već pokazuje u bazenu.

Izbornik Nikša Savin predvodi ekspediciju u kojoj su pomoćnik Mario Ćaleta, fizioterapeutkinja Lada Karlo i doktorica Ivana Gudelj, a igračice redom su Ivana Barišić, Katarina Majlat, Katarina Vučković, Mia Šahurić, Iva Kvinta, Dea Krstičević, Maja Kalauz, Karmela Tvrdić, Sara Križmanić, Magdalena Majlat (kapetanica), Dina Lordan, Nataša Jovanović i Anita Katanić.

- Ostaje žal što sa nama nije i Josipa Šupraha, ostao je problem na centarsoj poziciji jer nemamo adekvatnu igračicu za tu poziciju, zapravo idemo na prvenstvo bez pravog centra. No na to smo se pripremilii igru podredili da smanjimo taj deficit. Našu igeru obilježit će puno plivanja, čvrsta obrana i kontranapadi – kaže Savin.

Sa našim djevojkama u skupini su još Italija, Njemačka, Španjolska, Češka i Mađarska, prvoplasirana ekipa je izravno u polufinalu, druga i treća idu u četvrtfinale. Prvih sedam reprezentacija sa Eura izborit će plasman na Svjetsko prvenstvo.

- Ključne su nam prve tri utakmice, sa Talijankama, Njemicama i Španjolkama. Mađarice su apsolutno favoritkinje skupine, dok su Čehinje ipak ispod tražene razine. Premai nformacijama koje imamo mislim da možemo proći među prve tri iz skupine. To bi bilo izvrsno, ispunili bi prvi plan, plasman na Svjetsko prvenstvo. Objektivna okolnost će nam biti preveliki broj utakmica u osam dana i nedostatak iskustva, ali mislim da možemo daleko – kaže Savin.

No ženski vaterpolo ovih dana je krenuo krupnim koracima prema naprijed. Uz ovu generaciju treba pridodati i dvije Amerikanke hrvatskih korjena Blaženku Staničić (rođena 1987.) i Andreu Artuković (rođena 1990.) koje su trenirale sa kadetkinjama i pokazale se kao izuzetna pojačanja. S obzirom da imaju hrvatske putovnice definitivno će zaigrati i za seniorsku reprezentaciju Hrvatske.

- Tu nije kraj, zahvaljujući našm savezu nakon Olimpijskih igra raditi će se na dovođenju još dvije igračice koje bi dobile hrvatsku putovnicu i to na nama deficiratnim mjesima desnog krila i centra čime bi dobili izuzezno mladu, ali i respektabilnu reprezentaciju za budućnost – ističe Savin.

Kadetska ženska vaterpolo reprezentacija se nakon priprema u Splitu uputila u mađarski Gyor gdje će od nedjelje igrati na Europskom prvenstvu za igračice rođene 1991. godine i mlađe.

Po prvi put ženski vaterpolo kreće na jedno natjecanje sa popriličnom dozom optimizma, jer se premaviđenim i prikupljenim informacijama može dosta toga napraviti, a i ova generacija djevojaka je izuzetno talentirana i to već pokazuje u bazenu.

Izbornik Nikša Savin predvodi ekspediciju u kojoj su pomoćnik Mario Ćaleta, fizioterapeutkinja Lada Karlo i doktorica Ivana Gudelj, a igračice redom su Ivana Barišić, Katarina Majlat, Katarina Vučković, Mia Šahurić, Iva Kvinta, Dea Krstičević, Maja Kalauz, Karmela Tvrdić, Sara Križmanić, Magdalena Majlat (kapetanica), Dina Lordan, Nataša Jovanović i Anita Katanić.

- Ostaje žal što sa nama nije i Josipa Šupraha, ostao je problem na centarsoj poziciji jer nemamo adekvatnu igračicu za tu poziciju, zapravo idemo na prvenstvo bez pravog centra. No na to smo se pripremilii igru podredili da smanjimo taj deficit. Našu igeru obilježit će puno plivanja, čvrsta obrana i kontranapadi – kaže Savin.

Sa našim djevojkama u skupini su još Italija, Njemačka, Španjolska, Češka i Mađarska, prvoplasirana ekipa je izravno u polufinalu, druga i treća idu u četvrtfinale. Prvih sedam reprezentacija sa Eura izborit će plasman na Svjetsko prvenstvo.

- Ključne su nam prve tri utakmice, sa Talijankama, Njemicama i Španjolkama. Mađarice su apsolutno favoritkinje skupine, dok su Čehinje ipak ispod tražene razine. Premai nformacijama koje imamo mislim da možemo proći među prve tri iz skupine. To bi bilo izvrsno, ispunili bi prvi plan, plasman na Svjetsko prvenstvo. Objektivna okolnost će nam biti preveliki broj utakmica u osam dana i nedostatak iskustva, ali mislim da možemo daleko – kaže Savin.

No ženski vaterpolo ovih dana je krenuo krupnim koracima prema naprijed. Uz ovu generaciju treba pridodati i dvije Amerikanke hrvatskih korjena Blaženku Staničić (rođena 1987.) i Andreu Artuković (rođena 1990.) koje su trenirale sa kadetkinjama i pokazale se kao izuzetna pojačanja. S obzirom da imaju hrvatske putovnice definitivno će zaigrati i za seniorsku reprezentaciju Hrvatske.

- Tu nije kraj, zahvaljujući našm savezu nakon Olimpijskih igra raditi će se na dovođenju još dvije igračice koje bi dobile hrvatsku putovnicu i to na nama deficiratnim mjesima desnog krila i centra čime bi dobili izuzezno mladu, ali i respektabilnu reprezentaciju za budućnost – ističe Savin.
