Austrijski skijaš Matthias Lanzinger (27) kojem je nakon pada na superveleslalomu u norveškom Kvitfjellu, amputirana lijeva potkoljenica, prvi put se obradio medijima nakon nesreće.
"Nakon svega što se dogodilo sretan sam što sam uopće ovdje. Sada mi ne preostaje ništa nego prihvatiti sudbinu i boriti se zajedno s mojoj obitelji," kazao je austrijski skijaš na novinarskoj konferenciji u Salzburgu.
Lanzinger se pred novinarima pojavio u invalidskim kolicima najavivši kako će pokušati dobiti sve odgovore kako se nesreća dogodila.
"Možda to neće pomoći meni, međutim može pomoći da još netko ne strada poput mene," dodao je Austrijanac.
Oko nesreće još uvijek postoji mnogo upitnika. Od toga zašto na skijalištu nije bilo spasilačkog helikoptera, te zašto se čekalo na operaciju. Nedavno je i jedan od čelnika FIS-a Günther Hujara najavio istragu, dok je liječnik Artur Trost, koji je spasio nogu Hermanna Maiera nakon teške prometne nesreće 2001. godine, izjavio kako je "bio pravi idiotizam ostaviti Matthisa da čeka pet sati".
Nakon nesreće Lanzinger je prevezen u bolnicu u Lillehammeru gdje je zaključeno da ipak mora u Oslo. Odgovorni liječnik na Kvittfjellu mislio je da je najbolje pacijenta odvesti u najbližu bolnicu zbog ozljeda glave i zato što ga nije uspio probuditi iz nesvijesti. Da se tada znalo o kakvim se ozljedama radi bio bi odmah helikopterom prevezen u bolnicu Ulleval u Oslu.

Austrijski skijaš Matthias Lanzinger (27) kojem je nakon pada na superveleslalomu u norveškom Kvitfjellu, amputirana lijeva potkoljenica, prvi put se obradio medijima nakon nesreće.
"Nakon svega što se dogodilo sretan sam što sam uopće ovdje. Sada mi ne preostaje ništa nego prihvatiti sudbinu i boriti se zajedno s mojoj obitelji," kazao je austrijski skijaš na novinarskoj konferenciji u Salzburgu.
Lanzinger se pred novinarima pojavio u invalidskim kolicima najavivši kako će pokušati dobiti sve odgovore kako se nesreća dogodila.
"Možda to neće pomoći meni, međutim može pomoći da još netko ne strada poput mene," dodao je Austrijanac.
Oko nesreće još uvijek postoji mnogo upitnika. Od toga zašto na skijalištu nije bilo spasilačkog helikoptera, te zašto se čekalo na operaciju. Nedavno je i jedan od čelnika FIS-a Günther Hujara najavio istragu, dok je liječnik Artur Trost, koji je spasio nogu Hermanna Maiera nakon teške prometne nesreće 2001. godine, izjavio kako je "bio pravi idiotizam ostaviti Matthisa da čeka pet sati".
Nakon nesreće Lanzinger je prevezen u bolnicu u Lillehammeru gdje je zaključeno da ipak mora u Oslo. Odgovorni liječnik na Kvittfjellu mislio je da je najbolje pacijenta odvesti u najbližu bolnicu zbog ozljeda glave i zato što ga nije uspio probuditi iz nesvijesti. Da se tada znalo o kakvim se ozljedama radi bio bi odmah helikopterom prevezen u bolnicu Ulleval u Oslu.
