Nijednu negativnu stranu Europskih igara u Splitu ne može pronaći legendarni vaterpolist Milivoj Bebić.
- Moje mišljenje je isključivo pozitivno. Tko ne radi, taj ne može ni pogriješiti. Treba raditi da se stvori nešto dobro. Ja u tome vidim samo dobit za sport, grad i društvo.
Prilika je to da se u Splitu ubrza izgradnja i drugih gorućih infrastrukturnih pitanja.
- Nisu to samo sportski objekti, iako ih ja više volim zvati spomenici jer od Mediteranskih igara se ništa nije promijenilo. Zašto se ne bi napravio novi autobusni kolodvor, nova parking mjesta, podzemna željeznica... - pita se Bebić.
Prilika je i da živne istočni dio grada.
- Svi sportski objekti su u zapadnom dijelu Splita. Istočni dio je što se toga tiče hendikepiran. Prigoda je ovo da se i to promijeni na bolje.
Legitimno je i postaviti pitanje: ko to more platit!?
- Sve će se financirati uz pomoć europskih fondove, države, županije, grada... Ali zašto se moramo oko toga toliko brinuti? Pa, kome će sve što se napravi ostati nego nama, našoj djeci? Neće to biti događaj u rangu Mediteranskih igara iz 1979., ali opet je prilika za nešto veliko. Bit će pokretač promjene, investirat će se, ljudi će se zaposliti, a sve to na kraju rezultira porezima, raznim dobitima i za državu. Mislim da se iz Europskih igara u Splitu ne može izroditi išta loše za nas – podvukao je Bebić.
Zadovoljan odlukom Gradskog vijeća je i naš proslavljeni rukometaš Petar Metličić.
- U tome sam s našim olimpijcima, znam o čemu se sve radi. Od toga svi možemo samo dobiti. Rizik, naravno, postoji. Novac je uvijek problem, ali mislim da se sve može riješiti. Sada se i kroz europske fondove mogu povući sredstva za obnovu sportske infrastrukture. Samo to treba dobro organizirati i iskoristiti ovu priliku.
Splitu je krajnje vrijeme za obnovu. Većinu sportskih objekata itekako je načeo zub vremena.
- Oko 90 posto naših sportskih objekata je iz 1979. godine. Zato su nam Europske igre potrebne, da budu okidač, da dodamo našem gradu ono što mu nedostaje.
U cijeloj priči nije važan isključivo sportski segment...
- Prilika je to za grad, puno ljudi će doći. K tome, ne treba graditi selo kao za olimpijske igre. Svi mogu biti smješteni u hotelima, domovima...
Splitski klubovi na koncu bi mogli izaći kao najveći pobjednici.
- Vremena su teška i nije lako iznaći novac. Sport je uvijek nekako na margini. Zato je ovo prilika da se sve obnovi. Ne samo za profesionalni sport, nego i za sve ostale. Uvjeti su trenutno jako loši. Previše je klubova, ništa se ne gradi i onda se svi nekako krpaju.
Ima Split i dovoljno vremena. Igre bi, ako sve bude po planu, na rasporedu trebale biti 2027.
- Uvijek ima straha, ali ako država, županija i grad čvrsto stanu iza projekta, onda će to biti događaj iz kojeg ćemo svi profitirati. Na kraju, pa neće nam nitko ništa odnijeti iz Splita! Sve ostaje nama – zaključio je Metličić.

Nijednu negativnu stranu Europskih igara u Splitu ne može pronaći legendarni vaterpolist Milivoj Bebić.
- Moje mišljenje je isključivo pozitivno. Tko ne radi, taj ne može ni pogriješiti. Treba raditi da se stvori nešto dobro. Ja u tome vidim samo dobit za sport, grad i društvo.
Prilika je to da se u Splitu ubrza izgradnja i drugih gorućih infrastrukturnih pitanja.
- Nisu to samo sportski objekti, iako ih ja više volim zvati spomenici jer od Mediteranskih igara se ništa nije promijenilo. Zašto se ne bi napravio novi autobusni kolodvor, nova parking mjesta, podzemna željeznica... - pita se Bebić.
Prilika je i da živne istočni dio grada.
- Svi sportski objekti su u zapadnom dijelu Splita. Istočni dio je što se toga tiče hendikepiran. Prigoda je ovo da se i to promijeni na bolje.
Legitimno je i postaviti pitanje: ko to more platit!?
- Sve će se financirati uz pomoć europskih fondove, države, županije, grada... Ali zašto se moramo oko toga toliko brinuti? Pa, kome će sve što se napravi ostati nego nama, našoj djeci? Neće to biti događaj u rangu Mediteranskih igara iz 1979., ali opet je prilika za nešto veliko. Bit će pokretač promjene, investirat će se, ljudi će se zaposliti, a sve to na kraju rezultira porezima, raznim dobitima i za državu. Mislim da se iz Europskih igara u Splitu ne može izroditi išta loše za nas – podvukao je Bebić.
Zadovoljan odlukom Gradskog vijeća je i naš proslavljeni rukometaš Petar Metličić.
- U tome sam s našim olimpijcima, znam o čemu se sve radi. Od toga svi možemo samo dobiti. Rizik, naravno, postoji. Novac je uvijek problem, ali mislim da se sve može riješiti. Sada se i kroz europske fondove mogu povući sredstva za obnovu sportske infrastrukture. Samo to treba dobro organizirati i iskoristiti ovu priliku.
Splitu je krajnje vrijeme za obnovu. Većinu sportskih objekata itekako je načeo zub vremena.
- Oko 90 posto naših sportskih objekata je iz 1979. godine. Zato su nam Europske igre potrebne, da budu okidač, da dodamo našem gradu ono što mu nedostaje.
U cijeloj priči nije važan isključivo sportski segment...
- Prilika je to za grad, puno ljudi će doći. K tome, ne treba graditi selo kao za olimpijske igre. Svi mogu biti smješteni u hotelima, domovima...
Splitski klubovi na koncu bi mogli izaći kao najveći pobjednici.
- Vremena su teška i nije lako iznaći novac. Sport je uvijek nekako na margini. Zato je ovo prilika da se sve obnovi. Ne samo za profesionalni sport, nego i za sve ostale. Uvjeti su trenutno jako loši. Previše je klubova, ništa se ne gradi i onda se svi nekako krpaju.
Ima Split i dovoljno vremena. Igre bi, ako sve bude po planu, na rasporedu trebale biti 2027.
- Uvijek ima straha, ali ako država, županija i grad čvrsto stanu iza projekta, onda će to biti događaj iz kojeg ćemo svi profitirati. Na kraju, pa neće nam nitko ništa odnijeti iz Splita! Sve ostaje nama – zaključio je Metličić.
