Sve najbolje što nudi svjetski amaterski boks boravit će u sljedećih 12 dana pod svodom milanskog Mediolanum Foruma. Hrvatsku će na Svjetskome prvenstvu predstavljati šest boksača, među kojima je i Splićanin Marko Tomasović, prvi hrvatski olimpijac u superteškoj kategoriji.

Marko je ovog ljeta na Mediteranskim igrama u Pescari izborio finale, ali zbog ozljede leđa nije boksao s najboljim boksačem superteške kategorije, Talijanom Robertom Cammarelleom. Nakon toga Splićanin je boksao na reviji na Hvaru, gdje je pobijedio Hrvoja Kišičeka.

- Nemam problema s leđima, to je bila samo kratkotrajna ozljeda. Dignuo sam formu u odnosu na Hvar, tada sam zapravo tek ulazio u najvažniji dio priprema. Imam 98 kilograma i spreman sam - kazao nam je Marko.

Koliko daleko ovaj put može ‘div iz Varoša‘?

- Ako se dogodi da mi u prvom kolu naleti Cammarelle, koji je daleko najbolji u kategoriji, onda sve pada u vodu. Jaki su Bugar Pulev, onda jedan Kinez, Alžirac, ima nekoliko dobrih Afrikanaca, ali mislim da se mogu nositi sa svima. Nema nikakvog pristiska. Kad bih došao do medalje, to bi bilo čudo, svjetski podvig.

Kakva su Vam iskustva sa ždrijebom na prijašnjim natjecanjma?

- Nemam sreće sa ždrijebom, uvijek mi u prvom kolu velikog natjecanja naleti najbolji borac. Sreća je tu veliki faktor. Cammarelle je daleko najveći favorit za zlato, nema tu nitko bolji od njega - zaključio je Tomasović, kojeg danas očekuju vaganje i ždrijeb, a sutra prva borba.

Što se ostalih naših boksača tiče, kao što je rekao Ive Živković, izbornik naše reprezentacije, ‘nitko nije bez izgleda, ali nitko nije ni favorit’.

Sve najbolje što nudi svjetski amaterski boks boravit će u sljedećih 12 dana pod svodom milanskog Mediolanum Foruma. Hrvatsku će na Svjetskome prvenstvu predstavljati šest boksača, među kojima je i Splićanin Marko Tomasović, prvi hrvatski olimpijac u superteškoj kategoriji.

Marko je ovog ljeta na Mediteranskim igrama u Pescari izborio finale, ali zbog ozljede leđa nije boksao s najboljim boksačem superteške kategorije, Talijanom Robertom Cammarelleom. Nakon toga Splićanin je boksao na reviji na Hvaru, gdje je pobijedio Hrvoja Kišičeka.

- Nemam problema s leđima, to je bila samo kratkotrajna ozljeda. Dignuo sam formu u odnosu na Hvar, tada sam zapravo tek ulazio u najvažniji dio priprema. Imam 98 kilograma i spreman sam - kazao nam je Marko.

Koliko daleko ovaj put može ‘div iz Varoša‘?

- Ako se dogodi da mi u prvom kolu naleti Cammarelle, koji je daleko najbolji u kategoriji, onda sve pada u vodu. Jaki su Bugar Pulev, onda jedan Kinez, Alžirac, ima nekoliko dobrih Afrikanaca, ali mislim da se mogu nositi sa svima. Nema nikakvog pristiska. Kad bih došao do medalje, to bi bilo čudo, svjetski podvig.

Kakva su Vam iskustva sa ždrijebom na prijašnjim natjecanjma?

- Nemam sreće sa ždrijebom, uvijek mi u prvom kolu velikog natjecanja naleti najbolji borac. Sreća je tu veliki faktor. Cammarelle je daleko najveći favorit za zlato, nema tu nitko bolji od njega - zaključio je Tomasović, kojeg danas očekuju vaganje i ždrijeb, a sutra prva borba.

Što se ostalih naših boksača tiče, kao što je rekao Ive Živković, izbornik naše reprezentacije, ‘nitko nije bez izgleda, ali nitko nije ni favorit’.
