U Domu veslačkoga kluba Gusar u splitskom Spinutu, jučer je proslavljena 70. obljetnica preseljenja kluba na tu lokaciju. HVK Gusar osnovan je 1914. godine.

Prvi dom bio mu je podno Katalinića brijega, na prostoru današnjeg Dalmacijavina, 1927. je uselio u dom na Matejuški, a 1938. prešao u Spinut.

- Otkad je Gusara, traje priča o gradnji klupskoga doma. Zahvaljujući Vladi Republike Hrvatske i Poglavarstvu Grada Splita, ove godine je dovršena izgradnja našega Doma i klupskog pristana za čamce. Hvala svim dobrotvorima, svim istinskim gusarašima - rekao je predsjednik kluba Duško Krstulović.

Potom su četiri Gusarova juniora odveslala do pučine Kaštelanskog zaljeva, te u moru ostavili vijenac posvećen svim preminulim članovima kluba. Na svečanosti se okupilo stotinjak ljudi, a, kako doznajemo, veći odaziv je izostao jer je nešto zapelo s pozivnicama.

No, prisutni su se, u dobrom raspoloženju i po lijepom vremenu, opustili uz pjesmu prvaka splitske opere Ratomira Kliškića i klape Ježinac, te uživali u dalmatinskim specijalitetima, koji su se uglavnom sastojali od plodova mora.

- Moto je bio zahvaliti svima koji su u zadnjih osam godina barem jednom kunom pomogli u izgradnji ovog Doma. Hvala premijeru Sanaderu, ministrima Kalmeti i Primorcu, te gradonačelniku Kuretu. Volio bih da ima više ljudi, ali ovako su svi pojeli po tri, četiri porcije umjesto jedne - našalio se Krstulović.

- Okupili su se svi pravi gusaraši, mi smo kao jedna velika obitelj. Gusar mi je drugi dom, u njemu sam od 1985. godine. Čini mi se da sam otada više bio ovdje nego kući - kazao nam je Igor Boraska, nositelj bronce u osmercu s Olimpijskih igara u Sydneyu 2000. godine.

Siniša Skelin, koji je bronci u osmercu iz Sydneya pridodao i srebro u dvojcu iz Atene 2004. godine, bio je zadovoljan proslavom.

- Odlično je, vidite da su svi pjati prazni. I meni je ovo drugi dom, tu sam pet, šest sati dnevno - komentirao je stariji brat Skelin.

U Domu veslačkoga kluba Gusar u splitskom Spinutu, jučer je proslavljena 70. obljetnica preseljenja kluba na tu lokaciju. HVK Gusar osnovan je 1914. godine.

Prvi dom bio mu je podno Katalinića brijega, na prostoru današnjeg Dalmacijavina, 1927. je uselio u dom na Matejuški, a 1938. prešao u Spinut.

- Otkad je Gusara, traje priča o gradnji klupskoga doma. Zahvaljujući Vladi Republike Hrvatske i Poglavarstvu Grada Splita, ove godine je dovršena izgradnja našega Doma i klupskog pristana za čamce. Hvala svim dobrotvorima, svim istinskim gusarašima - rekao je predsjednik kluba Duško Krstulović.

Potom su četiri Gusarova juniora odveslala do pučine Kaštelanskog zaljeva, te u moru ostavili vijenac posvećen svim preminulim članovima kluba. Na svečanosti se okupilo stotinjak ljudi, a, kako doznajemo, veći odaziv je izostao jer je nešto zapelo s pozivnicama.

No, prisutni su se, u dobrom raspoloženju i po lijepom vremenu, opustili uz pjesmu prvaka splitske opere Ratomira Kliškića i klape Ježinac, te uživali u dalmatinskim specijalitetima, koji su se uglavnom sastojali od plodova mora.

- Moto je bio zahvaliti svima koji su u zadnjih osam godina barem jednom kunom pomogli u izgradnji ovog Doma. Hvala premijeru Sanaderu, ministrima Kalmeti i Primorcu, te gradonačelniku Kuretu. Volio bih da ima više ljudi, ali ovako su svi pojeli po tri, četiri porcije umjesto jedne - našalio se Krstulović.

- Okupili su se svi pravi gusaraši, mi smo kao jedna velika obitelj. Gusar mi je drugi dom, u njemu sam od 1985. godine. Čini mi se da sam otada više bio ovdje nego kući - kazao nam je Igor Boraska, nositelj bronce u osmercu s Olimpijskih igara u Sydneyu 2000. godine.

Siniša Skelin, koji je bronci u osmercu iz Sydneya pridodao i srebro u dvojcu iz Atene 2004. godine, bio je zadovoljan proslavom.

- Odlično je, vidite da su svi pjati prazni. I meni je ovo drugi dom, tu sam pet, šest sati dnevno - komentirao je stariji brat Skelin.

U Domu veslačkoga kluba Gusar u splitskom Spinutu, jučer je proslavljena 70. obljetnica preseljenja kluba na tu lokaciju. HVK Gusar osnovan je 1914. godine.
