Posljednji dvoboj rukometnog čarobnjaka nakon čega će se Ivano ostaviti igre i posvetiti drugim poslovima u okviru rukometa jer ga već čeka mjesto koordinatora za muški rukomet u HRS-u, a već je sudjelovao u izboru novog izbornika muške reprezentacije.

Nema onog medija koji nije pokušao doći do velikog Ivana, francuski L’Equipe mu je posvetio posebnu pozornost kao najvećem rukometašu i suparniku na parketu, ali i velikom sportašu koji je iznad svega poštovao fair-play. Za oproštajnu utakmicu večeras u 20 sati nije ostala niti jedna ulaznica u Rittal Areni. Zbog problema s leđima nije trenirao, no protiv Goppingena će istrčati.

- Bit će jako puno emocija. Ovo je bio posao koji sam najviše volio. To je bio moj život dvadeset godina. Pomalo je smiješno, osjećam se kao da mi je karijera prošla u tjedan dana – kazao je Balić i dodao:

- Naravno da mi je bila čast što sam bio biran za najboljeg rukometaša svijeta i najkorisnijeg igrača velikih turnira. No, s pojedinačnim titulama ne možete mnogo, uspjeh momčadi je iznad svega, a bez suigrača sam ništa.

O svom najboljem razdoblju u bogatoj karijeri, što smatra najvećim ostvarenju je kazao:

- Zlatna medalje na Svjetskom prvenstvu u Portugalu i na Olimpijskim igrama u Ateni s reprezentacijom vjerojatno su moji najveći uspjesi u karijeri.

U karijeri je branio boje Splita, Metkovića, Zagreba, Portland San Antonija, Atletico Madrida i Wetzlara. Nažalost, nije nikad osvojio Ligu prvaka, a bio je blizu s Portlandom i Atleticom.

- Radujem se poslu u Savezu. Bit će to težak rad, ali od njega ne bježim - zaključio je Balić.

Balićev dres Wetzlara na aukciji

Dres Wetzlara u kojem će odigrati posljednji dvoboj večeras već je na aukciji, onaj tko najviše ponudi dobit će ga potpisanog nakon susreta, a novac će biti uplaćen u Wetzlarovu školu za mlade rukometaše. Direktor kluba Bjorn Seipp se zahvalio Baliću na ideji i sjajnom oproštajnom daru.

vremena.

Posljednji dvoboj rukometnog čarobnjaka nakon čega će se Ivano ostaviti igre i posvetiti drugim poslovima u okviru rukometa jer ga već čeka mjesto koordinatora za muški rukomet u HRS-u, a već je sudjelovao u izboru novog izbornika muške reprezentacije.

Nema onog medija koji nije pokušao doći do velikog Ivana, francuski L’Equipe mu je posvetio posebnu pozornost kao najvećem rukometašu i suparniku na parketu, ali i velikom sportašu koji je iznad svega poštovao fair-play. Za oproštajnu utakmicu večeras u 20 sati nije ostala niti jedna ulaznica u Rittal Areni. Zbog problema s leđima nije trenirao, no protiv Goppingena će istrčati.

- Bit će jako puno emocija. Ovo je bio posao koji sam najviše volio. To je bio moj život dvadeset godina. Pomalo je smiješno, osjećam se kao da mi je karijera prošla u tjedan dana – kazao je Balić i dodao:

- Naravno da mi je bila čast što sam bio biran za najboljeg rukometaša svijeta i najkorisnijeg igrača velikih turnira. No, s pojedinačnim titulama ne možete mnogo, uspjeh momčadi je iznad svega, a bez suigrača sam ništa.

O svom najboljem razdoblju u bogatoj karijeri, što smatra najvećim ostvarenju je kazao:

- Zlatna medalje na Svjetskom prvenstvu u Portugalu i na Olimpijskim igrama u Ateni s reprezentacijom vjerojatno su moji najveći uspjesi u karijeri.

U karijeri je branio boje Splita, Metkovića, Zagreba, Portland San Antonija, Atletico Madrida i Wetzlara. Nažalost, nije nikad osvojio Ligu prvaka, a bio je blizu s Portlandom i Atleticom.

- Radujem se poslu u Savezu. Bit će to težak rad, ali od njega ne bježim - zaključio je Balić.

Balićev dres Wetzlara na aukciji

Dres Wetzlara u kojem će odigrati posljednji dvoboj večeras već je na aukciji, onaj tko najviše ponudi dobit će ga potpisanog nakon susreta, a novac će biti uplaćen u Wetzlarovu školu za mlade rukometaše. Direktor kluba Bjorn Seipp se zahvalio Baliću na ideji i sjajnom oproštajnom daru.
