Hhrvatska muška kadetska reprezentacija u osmini finala Svjetskog prvenstva u Gruziji snage je odmjerila s trećeplasiranom reprezentacijom skupine D – Slovenijom.

U vrlo borbenom susretu Hrvatska je preuzela vodstvo u prvom poluvremenu, ali ga ispustila početkom drugog kada je Slovenija izjednačila i povela. Međutim, slovensko vodstvo kratko je trajalo, hrvatski kadeti ubacili su u brzinu više i na kraju slavili s 29:25 (17:14) i time izborili četvrtfinale Svjetskog prvenstva. Ponovo je raspucan bio Ivan Martinović koji je postigao 11 pogodaka. Po četiri gola dodali su Halil Jaganjac i Vito Bahtijarević, a Ivan Panjan sakupio 11 obrana. Kod Slovenije su se s po pet pogodaka istaknuli Kristijan Horzen i Tim Rozman.

"Obrana je danas bila ta koja nam je donijela pobjedu. Defenzivno smo dominirali veći dio utakmice. imali smo jednu crnu rupu početkom drugog poluvremena, ali smo se vrlo brzo izvukli iz toga. Dobili smo sigurnost i mirnoću kroz obranu. Obrana nam je dala samopouzdanja u napadu gdje smo čak i neke situacije koje nisu bile pripremljene uspjeli rješavati. Sad se trebamo malo regenerirati i dobro pripremiti  za Švedsku koja igra brz i moderan rukomet. Ali naša ideja je ista kao i dao sada. Trebamo obrambeno biti gusti, agresivni i iz dobre obrane povući tranziciju i pokušati zabiti koji laki gol", rekao je izbornik Luka Panza nakon susreta.

Hhrvatska muška kadetska reprezentacija u osmini finala Svjetskog prvenstva u Gruziji snage je odmjerila s trećeplasiranom reprezentacijom skupine D – Slovenijom.

U vrlo borbenom susretu Hrvatska je preuzela vodstvo u prvom poluvremenu, ali ga ispustila početkom drugog kada je Slovenija izjednačila i povela. Međutim, slovensko vodstvo kratko je trajalo, hrvatski kadeti ubacili su u brzinu više i na kraju slavili s 29:25 (17:14) i time izborili četvrtfinale Svjetskog prvenstva. Ponovo je raspucan bio Ivan Martinović koji je postigao 11 pogodaka. Po četiri gola dodali su Halil Jaganjac i Vito Bahtijarević, a Ivan Panjan sakupio 11 obrana. Kod Slovenije su se s po pet pogodaka istaknuli Kristijan Horzen i Tim Rozman.

"Obrana je danas bila ta koja nam je donijela pobjedu. Defenzivno smo dominirali veći dio utakmice. imali smo jednu crnu rupu početkom drugog poluvremena, ali smo se vrlo brzo izvukli iz toga. Dobili smo sigurnost i mirnoću kroz obranu. Obrana nam je dala samopouzdanja u napadu gdje smo čak i neke situacije koje nisu bile pripremljene uspjeli rješavati. Sad se trebamo malo regenerirati i dobro pripremiti  za Švedsku koja igra brz i moderan rukomet. Ali naša ideja je ista kao i dao sada. Trebamo obrambeno biti gusti, agresivni i iz dobre obrane povući tranziciju i pokušati zabiti koji laki gol", rekao je izbornik Luka Panza nakon susreta.
