Utakmica protiv Katara bila je prekretnica i siguran sam da ćemo sada gledati bržu i kvalitetniju Hrvatsku koja će mljeti suparnike. Protiv Japana smo bili na 50 posto, protiv Angole na 60, a sad smo na 70. Dižemo se i to mi daje optimizam.
Posao u prvom krugu odrađen je korektno. Normalno je da su se nakon šoka protiv Japana i malo lošije izvedbe protiv Angole postavljali upitnici, ali pobjedom nad Katarom anulirali smo remi s Japancima i vratili poljuljano samopouzdanje.
Treba nam čvršća obrana
Obrana, međutim, mora biti bolja. Trenutno mi se obrana 6-0 čini sigurnija jer je njome lakše zamaskirati neke greške. Najvažnija je volja i htijenje jer bez toga nema uspjeha neovisno o tome igramo li 5-1 ili 6-0. Sigurno će to doći na svoje kad se “razletimo” s Duvnjakom naprijed. Vratari su protiv Katara bili sjajni. Pešić je u početku “ubio” njihovog najvažnijeg igrača Marza, a na njega se nadovezao Šego s četiri obranjena sedmerca, što je rijetko viđeno.
Ako moram izdvojiti igrače koji su me impresionirali, oni su sljedeći. Marić je po meni prvo ime. On je od svih naših igrača možda i u najboljoj formi trenutno. Štrlek je protiv Katara zabio važne golove i presjekao par lopti, Horvat je također dao tri važna gola, a Mamić je odigrao napadački savršenu utakmicu. Bila ga je milina gledati gotovo 60 minuta u oba pravca. Ipak, trebat će nam još više raspoloženih igrača u napadu ako mislimo do medalje.
Što se minusa tiče, najveći je ozljeda Cindrića koja bi nas u rotaciji mogla koštati, pogotovo jer je i Karačić u problemima. Cindra je jedan od nositelja naše igre, čovjek koji je uz Duvnjaka tu da rješava utakmice. Već smo protiv Katara mogli vidjeti kako se naša igra iz tog razloga transformirala. Od igre s trojicom srednjaka sad smo dobili Mamića lijevo te Martinovića i Šebetića desno. Vidjelo se da Duvnjak više ne forsira toliko igru jedan na jedan nego se podredio momčadi i razigravanju ostalih. Razumijem da ga se nekad mora odmoriti, ali nikako da se to dogodi jer stalno “visimo”. Ne možeš izvaditi glavnog igrača kad je egal.
Lino skuplja bodove, ali...
Čupić na vanjskom? Stalno ponavljamo isto. Išlo bi bolje s desnim vanjskim, ali Lino ima ideju i skuplja bodove. Sigurno ima neki razlog zašto to čini. Martinović i Šebetić su pokretni i tu možemo profitirati u protoku lopte, što će nam posebno trebati od Danske nadalje.
Iako Bahrein nije bezazlen, dobili smo gotovo savršen raspored. Nitko mi ne može reći da su Slovenija, Švedska, Rusija ili Egipat u četvrtfinalu lošiji izbor od Francuske, Španjolske ili Norveške. Naravno, sve je to relativno jer vidjeli smo što nam se dogodilo protiv Japana. Generalno su se reprezentacije iz ostatka svijeta opasno približile Europi. Zanimljivo je prvenstvo.
Ako prije dvoboja s Danskom osiguramo četvrtfinale i ako budemo imali nekog nezaliječenog igrača kojemu bi preskakanje te utakmice dobro došlo, onda sam za to, ali nekakvo tankiranje ili biranje protivnika ne dolazi u obzir. Hrvatska to nikad nije radila. Ne mogu zamisliti da igrajući za svoju zemlju pustiš neku utakmicu.

Utakmica protiv Katara bila je prekretnica i siguran sam da ćemo sada gledati bržu i kvalitetniju Hrvatsku koja će mljeti suparnike. Protiv Japana smo bili na 50 posto, protiv Angole na 60, a sad smo na 70. Dižemo se i to mi daje optimizam.
Posao u prvom krugu odrađen je korektno. Normalno je da su se nakon šoka protiv Japana i malo lošije izvedbe protiv Angole postavljali upitnici, ali pobjedom nad Katarom anulirali smo remi s Japancima i vratili poljuljano samopouzdanje.
Treba nam čvršća obrana
Obrana, međutim, mora biti bolja. Trenutno mi se obrana 6-0 čini sigurnija jer je njome lakše zamaskirati neke greške. Najvažnija je volja i htijenje jer bez toga nema uspjeha neovisno o tome igramo li 5-1 ili 6-0. Sigurno će to doći na svoje kad se “razletimo” s Duvnjakom naprijed. Vratari su protiv Katara bili sjajni. Pešić je u početku “ubio” njihovog najvažnijeg igrača Marza, a na njega se nadovezao Šego s četiri obranjena sedmerca, što je rijetko viđeno.
Ako moram izdvojiti igrače koji su me impresionirali, oni su sljedeći. Marić je po meni prvo ime. On je od svih naših igrača možda i u najboljoj formi trenutno. Štrlek je protiv Katara zabio važne golove i presjekao par lopti, Horvat je također dao tri važna gola, a Mamić je odigrao napadački savršenu utakmicu. Bila ga je milina gledati gotovo 60 minuta u oba pravca. Ipak, trebat će nam još više raspoloženih igrača u napadu ako mislimo do medalje.
Što se minusa tiče, najveći je ozljeda Cindrića koja bi nas u rotaciji mogla koštati, pogotovo jer je i Karačić u problemima. Cindra je jedan od nositelja naše igre, čovjek koji je uz Duvnjaka tu da rješava utakmice. Već smo protiv Katara mogli vidjeti kako se naša igra iz tog razloga transformirala. Od igre s trojicom srednjaka sad smo dobili Mamića lijevo te Martinovića i Šebetića desno. Vidjelo se da Duvnjak više ne forsira toliko igru jedan na jedan nego se podredio momčadi i razigravanju ostalih. Razumijem da ga se nekad mora odmoriti, ali nikako da se to dogodi jer stalno “visimo”. Ne možeš izvaditi glavnog igrača kad je egal.
Lino skuplja bodove, ali...
Čupić na vanjskom? Stalno ponavljamo isto. Išlo bi bolje s desnim vanjskim, ali Lino ima ideju i skuplja bodove. Sigurno ima neki razlog zašto to čini. Martinović i Šebetić su pokretni i tu možemo profitirati u protoku lopte, što će nam posebno trebati od Danske nadalje.
Iako Bahrein nije bezazlen, dobili smo gotovo savršen raspored. Nitko mi ne može reći da su Slovenija, Švedska, Rusija ili Egipat u četvrtfinalu lošiji izbor od Francuske, Španjolske ili Norveške. Naravno, sve je to relativno jer vidjeli smo što nam se dogodilo protiv Japana. Generalno su se reprezentacije iz ostatka svijeta opasno približile Europi. Zanimljivo je prvenstvo.
Ako prije dvoboja s Danskom osiguramo četvrtfinale i ako budemo imali nekog nezaliječenog igrača kojemu bi preskakanje te utakmice dobro došlo, onda sam za to, ali nekakvo tankiranje ili biranje protivnika ne dolazi u obzir. Hrvatska to nikad nije radila. Ne mogu zamisliti da igrajući za svoju zemlju pustiš neku utakmicu.
