Otvaranje Europskog rukometnog prvenstva, Hrvatskoj donosi najtežeg protivnika – Francusku.
„Rukometni El Clasico” odmah na početku, dvoboj s najuspješnijom reprezentacijom u povijesti, našim najvećim rivalom na rasporedu je večeras u 20.30 (RTL).
Izbornik Hrvoje Horvat imao je svoj debi na klupi baš protiv Francuza u kvalifikacijama za Olimpijske igre, a prvaci iz Tokija sada ga čekaju na startu turnira u Mađarskoj.
Naše večerašnje protivnike dobro poznaje i Blaženko Lacković. Proslavljeni lijevi vanjski za ‘Slobodnu’ je najavio prvi veliki ispit za „kauboje”.
- Stvarno teška utakmica na samom početku protiv moćnog protivnika. Svi znamo tko su Francuzi, što znače u svijetu rukometa.
Povijest susreta Hrvatske i Francuske je prebogata, a datira još iz 1993. godine i Mediteranskih igara na kojima smo bili zlatni. Posljednji je bio u Montpellieru na spomenutim kvalifikacijama, a „kauboji” su tada poraženi s 26:30.
- Koliko smo samo imali velikih utakmica s njima, to su bili strašni dvoboji. Tukli smo se s njima. U moje vrijeme, mi smo te susrete obožavali. I mi, kao i oni, imamo veliku tradiciju. Iz toga se izrodilo veliko rivalstvo.
Poznato je da smo protiv „tricolora” često prolazili loše, ali legendarni Lac se nije htio upuštati u prognoze.
Preopterećeni igrači
- Mislim da je u ovim uvjetima pandemije nemoguće išta prognozirati. Ovo je posebno prvenstvo. Nitko doslovno do dana utakmice neće znati koje igrače ima na raspolaganju. Dugo se već priča o preopterećenosti igrača, njihovom zdravlju, a svake godine igraju sve više utakmica. Sada ih tjeraju na teren čim izađu iz izolacije. Zato se i događaju tolike ozljede koje nas ni ovaj put nisu zaobišle.
Nažalost, iz tabora naših ne prestaju stizati loše vijesti. Dobili smo još jednog zaraženog – Marka Mamića koji će tako uz Domagoja Duvnjaka i Luku Cindrića, također propustiti prvo kolo.

Sviđa li vam se nova, pomlađena Hrvatska?
- Puno je novih, kvalitetnih momaka koji se moraju dokazati. Siguran sam da imaju talent, a sada je na njima da iskoriste ove utakmice i skupljaju vrijedno iskustvo za buduće turnire. Ubrzo će postati nositelji naše reprezentacije.
Mnogi godinama sjetno zazivaju: „Eh, da nam je sada jedan Balić”. No, uz čarobnjaka kakav je bio Ivano, „kaubojima” već dugo nedostaje pravi „punokrvni” šuter, baš kakav je bio Lacković. Igrača takve klase, šutera na vanjskim pozicijama, od njegovog odlaska nismo imali...
U jednoj od glavnih uloga će biti Halil Jaganjac. Vidite li u njemu nasljednika?
- Jedva čekam vidjeti kako će reagirati na nešto slobodniju ulogu. Zna igrati obranu, tražiti pivota, zabijati lagane golove. Baš to nam treba. Često se mučimo u napadu, trebat će nam njegovi golovi. Ovo mu je prilika da se pokaže na velikoj pozornici. Mislim da mu Horvat vjeruje i da će mu dati slobodu što je za šutera jako važno.
Studiozni Horvat
Dotaknuo se Lac i nepozivanja Karačića, Štrleka, Marića, Muse...
- Ako je izbornik odlučio pozvati mlade igrače, očito ima ideju. Neka se toga drži. Horvat je studiozan, vjerujem da on i Ivano (Balić, nap. a.) imaju dugoročni plan. Naravno da su izostavljeni igrači veoma kvalitetni i da bi doprinijeli reprezentaciji, ali ovo je prilika za mlade. Drago mi je da će im se pružiti šansa da pokažu što znaju. Veselim se što ćemo vidjeti neke nove stvari.
Na primjer?
- Jaganjac i Martinović u glavnim ulogama, obrana 5-1 s nekim drugim, osim Duvnjaka, u ulozi prednjeg, a vjerujem i brža, atraktivnija igra – zaključio se Lacković.
Iz svake skupine dalje prolaze dvije najbolje momčadi. Nakon Francuske, hrvatske rukometaše u subotu očekuje dvoboj sa Srbijom (20.30), dok će u ponedjeljak igrati protivi Ukrajine (18).

Malo vjere u mladu Horvatovu momčad
Kladionice nam ne daju prevelike izglede uoči ogleda s Francuzima. Na pobjedu “kauboja” koeficijent je ogromnih 7,50, dok su Francuzi veliki favoriti s 1,20. Kvota na remi iznosi 12. Ne vjeruju “bookmakeri” pomlađenoj Horvatovoj momčadi načetoj ozljedama i koronavirusom.
Što se broja golova igrača tiče, najviše su postavljeni Ivan Martinović i Halil Jaganjac, oba na 4,5, dok je Čupić na 3,5. S druge strane, Hugo Descat i Dika Mem su na 4,5.

Otvaranje Europskog rukometnog prvenstva, Hrvatskoj donosi najtežeg protivnika – Francusku.
„Rukometni El Clasico” odmah na početku, dvoboj s najuspješnijom reprezentacijom u povijesti, našim najvećim rivalom na rasporedu je večeras u 20.30 (RTL).
Izbornik Hrvoje Horvat imao je svoj debi na klupi baš protiv Francuza u kvalifikacijama za Olimpijske igre, a prvaci iz Tokija sada ga čekaju na startu turnira u Mađarskoj.
Naše večerašnje protivnike dobro poznaje i Blaženko Lacković. Proslavljeni lijevi vanjski za ‘Slobodnu’ je najavio prvi veliki ispit za „kauboje”.
- Stvarno teška utakmica na samom početku protiv moćnog protivnika. Svi znamo tko su Francuzi, što znače u svijetu rukometa.
Povijest susreta Hrvatske i Francuske je prebogata, a datira još iz 1993. godine i Mediteranskih igara na kojima smo bili zlatni. Posljednji je bio u Montpellieru na spomenutim kvalifikacijama, a „kauboji” su tada poraženi s 26:30.
- Koliko smo samo imali velikih utakmica s njima, to su bili strašni dvoboji. Tukli smo se s njima. U moje vrijeme, mi smo te susrete obožavali. I mi, kao i oni, imamo veliku tradiciju. Iz toga se izrodilo veliko rivalstvo.
Poznato je da smo protiv „tricolora” često prolazili loše, ali legendarni Lac se nije htio upuštati u prognoze.
Preopterećeni igrači
- Mislim da je u ovim uvjetima pandemije nemoguće išta prognozirati. Ovo je posebno prvenstvo. Nitko doslovno do dana utakmice neće znati koje igrače ima na raspolaganju. Dugo se već priča o preopterećenosti igrača, njihovom zdravlju, a svake godine igraju sve više utakmica. Sada ih tjeraju na teren čim izađu iz izolacije. Zato se i događaju tolike ozljede koje nas ni ovaj put nisu zaobišle.
Nažalost, iz tabora naših ne prestaju stizati loše vijesti. Dobili smo još jednog zaraženog – Marka Mamića koji će tako uz Domagoja Duvnjaka i Luku Cindrića, također propustiti prvo kolo.

Sviđa li vam se nova, pomlađena Hrvatska?
- Puno je novih, kvalitetnih momaka koji se moraju dokazati. Siguran sam da imaju talent, a sada je na njima da iskoriste ove utakmice i skupljaju vrijedno iskustvo za buduće turnire. Ubrzo će postati nositelji naše reprezentacije.
Mnogi godinama sjetno zazivaju: „Eh, da nam je sada jedan Balić”. No, uz čarobnjaka kakav je bio Ivano, „kaubojima” već dugo nedostaje pravi „punokrvni” šuter, baš kakav je bio Lacković. Igrača takve klase, šutera na vanjskim pozicijama, od njegovog odlaska nismo imali...
U jednoj od glavnih uloga će biti Halil Jaganjac. Vidite li u njemu nasljednika?
- Jedva čekam vidjeti kako će reagirati na nešto slobodniju ulogu. Zna igrati obranu, tražiti pivota, zabijati lagane golove. Baš to nam treba. Često se mučimo u napadu, trebat će nam njegovi golovi. Ovo mu je prilika da se pokaže na velikoj pozornici. Mislim da mu Horvat vjeruje i da će mu dati slobodu što je za šutera jako važno.
Studiozni Horvat
Dotaknuo se Lac i nepozivanja Karačića, Štrleka, Marića, Muse...
- Ako je izbornik odlučio pozvati mlade igrače, očito ima ideju. Neka se toga drži. Horvat je studiozan, vjerujem da on i Ivano (Balić, nap. a.) imaju dugoročni plan. Naravno da su izostavljeni igrači veoma kvalitetni i da bi doprinijeli reprezentaciji, ali ovo je prilika za mlade. Drago mi je da će im se pružiti šansa da pokažu što znaju. Veselim se što ćemo vidjeti neke nove stvari.
Na primjer?
- Jaganjac i Martinović u glavnim ulogama, obrana 5-1 s nekim drugim, osim Duvnjaka, u ulozi prednjeg, a vjerujem i brža, atraktivnija igra – zaključio se Lacković.
Iz svake skupine dalje prolaze dvije najbolje momčadi. Nakon Francuske, hrvatske rukometaše u subotu očekuje dvoboj sa Srbijom (20.30), dok će u ponedjeljak igrati protivi Ukrajine (18).

Malo vjere u mladu Horvatovu momčad
Kladionice nam ne daju prevelike izglede uoči ogleda s Francuzima. Na pobjedu “kauboja” koeficijent je ogromnih 7,50, dok su Francuzi veliki favoriti s 1,20. Kvota na remi iznosi 12. Ne vjeruju “bookmakeri” pomlađenoj Horvatovoj momčadi načetoj ozljedama i koronavirusom.
Što se broja golova igrača tiče, najviše su postavljeni Ivan Martinović i Halil Jaganjac, oba na 4,5, dok je Čupić na 3,5. S druge strane, Hugo Descat i Dika Mem su na 4,5.
