Rukometaši Zagreba odigrali su 22-22 (11-10) protiv Barlinek Industrije Kielcea u utakmici 7. kola skupine A Lige prvaka, odigranoj u četvrtak u Areni Zagreb, propustivši priliku za pobjedu protiv renomiranog suparnika.

Naime, u posljednje četiri i pol minute je domaća momčad ušla s dva pogotka prednosti (22-20), imala i napad za tri gola razlike, ali je do kraja dvoboja mreža gostiju ostala netaknuta.

Najzaslužniji za bod koji je osvojio Zagreb bio je vratar Matej Mandić, koji je obranio 17 od 36 udaraca upućenih prema njemu. Zagrebove strijelce je s pet pogodaka predvodio Miloš Kos, a po tri gola postigli su Patryk Walczak, Luka Lovre Klarica, Zvonimir Srna, Ivan Čupić i Timur Dibirov.

Kod Kielcea je Daniel Dujšebaev postigao četiri pogotka, a po tri Nicolas Tournat i hrvatski reprezentativac Igor Karačić.

Već u prvom poluvremenu dvoboja s Kielceom Zagreb je dobio svog junaka. Bio je to 21-godišnji vratar Matej Mandić koji je bio u briljantnom izdanju. Zahvaljujući njegovim obranama, domaća momčad je od 6. do 11. minute napravila seriju 4-0 i povela sa 7-3. Branio je Mandić sjajno i u nastavku prvog poluvremena, ali je momčadi koju je umjesto ozlijeđenog Nenada Šoštarića (leđa) vodio njegov pomoćnik Andrija Nikolić pala napadačka produktivnost te je Zagreb nakon pola sata igre imao jedan gol prednosti (11-10).

Mandić je nastavio braniti u odličnom izdanju i u drugom dijelu, a imao je i značajnu podršku u svojim suigračima koji su dobro zatvarali prolaze prema vratima. Nažalost, u ključnim trenucima kod Zagreba nije bio dovoljno probitačnosti i preciznosti u napadu. 

Bilo je to izjednačeno poluvrijeme, u kojem domaća momčad ni u jednom trenutku nije uspjela stvoriti veću rezultatsku prednost, ali nije ni dopustila gostima da dođu do vodstva.

U 27. minuti Mandić je obranio sedmerac Igoru Karačiću i tako omogućio suigračima napad za prednost od tri pogotka. Nažalost, obrana Kielcea natjerala je Klaricu na težak šut koji je gostujući vratar Andreas Wolff uspio obraniti. I nije ti bio jedini propušteni napad "zagrebaša". Ostali su bez pogotka u posljednje četiri i pol minute te su na kraju morali spašavati bod.

Zagrebu ga je donio junak dvoboja Matej Mandić, koji je u zadnjem napadu zaustavio udarac s krila Dylana Nahija i tako spriječio veliki preokret poljske momčadi.

Nakon sedam kola Zagreb ima šest bodova i pao je na sedmo mjesto, jer je Pick Szeged svladao makedonski Eurofarm Pelister s 34-26 i sa sedam bodova zasjeo na šestu poziciju. Kielce je s osam bodova na petom mjestu. Vodeći Kiel je ostao na 10 bodova nakon domaćeg poraza (18-27) od Aalborga koji se s devet bodova probio na drugu poziciju.

U sljedećem kolu, za tjedan dana (23. studenoga), Zagreb će gostovati kod Kielcea.

Rukometaši Zagreba odigrali su 22-22 (11-10) protiv Barlinek Industrije Kielcea u utakmici 7. kola skupine A Lige prvaka, odigranoj u četvrtak u Areni Zagreb, propustivši priliku za pobjedu protiv renomiranog suparnika.

Naime, u posljednje četiri i pol minute je domaća momčad ušla s dva pogotka prednosti (22-20), imala i napad za tri gola razlike, ali je do kraja dvoboja mreža gostiju ostala netaknuta.

Najzaslužniji za bod koji je osvojio Zagreb bio je vratar Matej Mandić, koji je obranio 17 od 36 udaraca upućenih prema njemu. Zagrebove strijelce je s pet pogodaka predvodio Miloš Kos, a po tri gola postigli su Patryk Walczak, Luka Lovre Klarica, Zvonimir Srna, Ivan Čupić i Timur Dibirov.

Kod Kielcea je Daniel Dujšebaev postigao četiri pogotka, a po tri Nicolas Tournat i hrvatski reprezentativac Igor Karačić.

Već u prvom poluvremenu dvoboja s Kielceom Zagreb je dobio svog junaka. Bio je to 21-godišnji vratar Matej Mandić koji je bio u briljantnom izdanju. Zahvaljujući njegovim obranama, domaća momčad je od 6. do 11. minute napravila seriju 4-0 i povela sa 7-3. Branio je Mandić sjajno i u nastavku prvog poluvremena, ali je momčadi koju je umjesto ozlijeđenog Nenada Šoštarića (leđa) vodio njegov pomoćnik Andrija Nikolić pala napadačka produktivnost te je Zagreb nakon pola sata igre imao jedan gol prednosti (11-10).

Mandić je nastavio braniti u odličnom izdanju i u drugom dijelu, a imao je i značajnu podršku u svojim suigračima koji su dobro zatvarali prolaze prema vratima. Nažalost, u ključnim trenucima kod Zagreba nije bio dovoljno probitačnosti i preciznosti u napadu. 

Bilo je to izjednačeno poluvrijeme, u kojem domaća momčad ni u jednom trenutku nije uspjela stvoriti veću rezultatsku prednost, ali nije ni dopustila gostima da dođu do vodstva.

U 27. minuti Mandić je obranio sedmerac Igoru Karačiću i tako omogućio suigračima napad za prednost od tri pogotka. Nažalost, obrana Kielcea natjerala je Klaricu na težak šut koji je gostujući vratar Andreas Wolff uspio obraniti. I nije ti bio jedini propušteni napad "zagrebaša". Ostali su bez pogotka u posljednje četiri i pol minute te su na kraju morali spašavati bod.

Zagrebu ga je donio junak dvoboja Matej Mandić, koji je u zadnjem napadu zaustavio udarac s krila Dylana Nahija i tako spriječio veliki preokret poljske momčadi.

Kielce je s osam bodova na petom mjestu. Vodeći Kiel je ostao na 10 bodova nakon domaćeg poraza (18-27) od Aalborga koji se s devet bodova probio na drugu poziciju.

U sljedećem kolu, za tjedan dana (23. studenoga), Zagreb će gostovati kod Kielcea.

Rukometaši Zagreba odigrali su 22-22 (11-10) protiv Barlinek Industrije Kielcea u utakmici 7. kola skupine A Lige prvaka, odigranoj u četvrtak u Areni Zagreb, propustivši priliku za pobjedu protiv renomiranog suparnika.

Naime, u posljednje četiri i pol minute je domaća momčad ušla s dva pogotka prednosti (22-20), imala i napad za tri gola razlike, ali je do kraja dvoboja mreža gostiju ostala netaknuta.

Najzaslužniji za bod koji je osvojio Zagreb bio je vratar Matej Mandić, koji je obranio 17 od 36 udaraca upućenih prema njemu. Zagrebove strijelce je s pet pogodaka predvodio Miloš Kos, a po tri gola postigli su Patryk Walczak, Luka Lovre Klarica, Zvonimir Srna, Ivan Čupić i Timur Dibirov.

Kod Kielcea je Daniel Dujšebaev postigao četiri pogotka, a po tri Nicolas Tournat i hrvatski reprezentativac Igor Karačić.

Već u prvom poluvremenu dvoboja s Kielceom Zagreb je dobio svog junaka. Bio je to 21-godišnji vratar Matej Mandić koji je bio u briljantnom izdanju. Zahvaljujući njegovim obranama, domaća momčad je od 6. do 11. minute napravila seriju 4-0 i povela sa 7-3. Branio je Mandić sjajno i u nastavku prvog poluvremena, ali je momčadi koju je umjesto ozlijeđenog Nenada Šoštarića (leđa) vodio njegov pomoćnik Andrija Nikolić pala napadačka produktivnost te je Zagreb nakon pola sata igre imao jedan gol prednosti (11-10).

Mandić je nastavio braniti u odličnom izdanju i u drugom dijelu, a imao je i značajnu podršku u svojim suigračima koji su dobro zatvarali prolaze prema vratima. Nažalost, u ključnim trenucima kod Zagreba nije bio dovoljno probitačnosti i preciznosti u napadu. 

Bilo je to izjednačeno poluvrijeme, u kojem domaća momčad ni u jednom trenutku nije uspjela stvoriti veću rezultatsku prednost, ali nije ni dopustila gostima da dođu do vodstva.
