Predsjednik Međunarodne nogometne federacije (FIFA) Gianni Infantino i indonezijski predsjednik Joko Widodo dogovorili su u utorak reviziju sigurnosnih mjera na stadionima u toj zemlji, nakon što je više od 130 ljudi poginulo u stampedu tijekom utakmice odigrane početkom ovog mjeseca. 

Infantino je došao na sastanak s predsjednikom Widodom nakon što su Indonezija i FIFA postigli dogovor o osnivanju zajedničkog radnog tijela, što je posljedica tragičnog događaja i stradavanja ljudi na nogometnoj utakmici. Indonezija će sljedeće godine biti domaćin Svjetskog prvenstva za igrače do 20 godina.

Infantino je tijekom sastanka istaknuo da će u Indoneziji prioritet biti reforma i transformacija nogometa u toj državi, kako bi ljubiteljima nogometa bila zajamčena sigurnost na stadionima.

Istragom je utvrđeno da je navijački stampedo, koji se dogodio 1. listopada nakon utakmice na stadionu Kanjuruhan na istočnom dijelu otoka Java, izazvan pretjeranim korištenjem suzavca od strane policijskih snaga, što je Fifa zabranila kao mjeru za održavanje reda na natjecanjima pod svojom ingerencijom.

Indonezijski nogometni savez je prošli tjedan objavio da bi Infantino trebao održati govor tijekom sastanka predstavnika skupine G20, najrazvijenih svjetskih ekonomija, na Baliju u studenome. Očekuje se da će predsjednik Fife govoriti o spremnosti Indonezije za domaćinstvo međunarodnih natjecanja.

Predsjednik Međunarodne nogometne federacije (FIFA) Gianni Infantino i indonezijski predsjednik Joko Widodo dogovorili su u utorak reviziju sigurnosnih mjera na stadionima u toj zemlji, nakon što je više od 130 ljudi poginulo u stampedu tijekom utakmice odigrane početkom ovog mjeseca. 

Infantino je došao na sastanak s predsjednikom Widodom nakon što su Indonezija i FIFA postigli dogovor o osnivanju zajedničkog radnog tijela, što je posljedica tragičnog događaja i stradavanja ljudi na nogometnoj utakmici. Indonezija će sljedeće godine biti domaćin Svjetskog prvenstva za igrače do 20 godina.

Infantino je tijekom sastanka istaknuo da će u Indoneziji prioritet biti reforma i transformacija nogometa u toj državi, kako bi ljubiteljima nogometa bila zajamčena sigurnost na stadionima.

Istragom je utvrđeno da je navijački stampedo, koji se dogodio 1. listopada nakon utakmice na stadionu Kanjuruhan na istočnom dijelu otoka Java, izazvan pretjeranim korištenjem suzavca od strane policijskih snaga, što je Fifa zabranila kao mjeru za održavanje reda na natjecanjima pod svojom ingerencijom.

Indonezijski nogometni savez je prošli tjedan objavio da bi Infantino trebao održati govor tijekom sastanka predstavnika skupine G20, najrazvijenih svjetskih ekonomija, na Baliju u studenome. Očekuje se da će predsjednik Fife govoriti o spremnosti Indonezije za domaćinstvo međunarodnih natjecanja.
