Ivan Rakitić početkom je tjedna kompletirao svoj prelazak u Al Shabab, prvoligaša iz Saudijske Arabije, s kojim je potpisao ugovor do lipnja 2025. godine. Rakitić je obavio sve liječničke preglede te službeno stavio potpis na vjernost klubu kojeg je do prije mjesec dana vodio hrvatski strateg Igor Bišćan.

Bivši reprezentativac i dokapetan Hrvatske tako je nakon trinaest godina napustio Španjolsku. Od siječnja 2011. nastupao je za Sevillu s kojom je 2014. osvojio Europsku ligu, pa je igrao za Barcelonu s kojom je osvojio Ligu prvaka 2015. godine. Nakon povratka u Sevillu 2020. došao je do novog pehara Europske lige 2023. godine, a treba istaknuti kako je ‘Raketa‘ stranac s najviše nastupa u povijesti Seville.

Klub je uoči njegovog odlaska održao i konferenciju za novinare na kojoj se bivši Vatreni oprostio od svojih suigrača i navijača. Predsjednik kluba José María del Nido Carrasco, Rakitića je nazvao ‘jednim od najvećih igrača u povijesti Seville‘.

Okupljenima je prikazan jedan videozapis s najboljim trenucima Rakitića u dresu Seville, kao i brojne poruke njegovih suigrača. Rakitić je u uvodu press konferencije poručio kako ne bi volio zaplakati, ali mu to nije pošlo za rukom.

- Postoje trenuci kada morate shvatiti da je stiglo vrijeme za kraj, to je jako važno shvatiti, ali to može boljeti - rekao je Rakitić pa nastavio:

- Sevilla je više od samo doma za mene, sada odlazim, ali ću se jednog dana vratiti. Nažalost, ne kao igrač, ali ovaj klub će me uvijek imati uz sebe. Nastavit ću podržavati klub izdaleka u ovoj teškoj sezoni.

Rakitić je također otkrio kako ga smeta činjenica da ne može više pomoći klubu kao nekada.

- Želio bih počinjati svaku utakmicu, ali zamisli novog trenera nisu iste kao i moje. Želio sam pomoći Sevilli na terenu, ne bih podnijeti da nemoćno s klupe promatram što se događa.

Kada je u pitanju ponuda Al Shababa Rakitić je rekao:

- Imaju sjajan projekt, momčad su koja želi rasti i imaju mladog predsjednika koji će napraviti sve što može da to i ostvari. Mislim da mogu pokazati svoj najbolji nogomet i pomoći mladima. Lako smo postigli dogovor.

Ivan Rakitić početkom je tjedna kompletirao svoj prelazak u Al Shabab, prvoligaša iz Saudijske Arabije, s kojim je potpisao ugovor do lipnja 2025. godine. Rakitić je obavio sve liječničke preglede te službeno stavio potpis na vjernost klubu kojeg je do prije mjesec dana vodio hrvatski strateg Igor Bišćan.

Bivši reprezentativac i dokapetan Hrvatske tako je nakon trinaest godina napustio Španjolsku. Od siječnja 2011. nastupao je za Sevillu s kojom je 2014. osvojio Europsku ligu, pa je igrao za Barcelonu s kojom je osvojio Ligu prvaka 2015. godine. Nakon povratka u Sevillu 2020. došao je do novog pehara Europske lige 2023. godine, a treba istaknuti kako je ‘Raketa‘ stranac s najviše nastupa u povijesti Seville.

Klub je uoči njegovog odlaska održao i konferenciju za novinare na kojoj se bivši Vatreni oprostio od svojih suigrača i navijača. Predsjednik kluba José María del Nido Carrasco, Rakitića je nazvao ‘jednim od najvećih igrača u povijesti Seville‘.

Okupljenima je prikazan jedan videozapis s najboljim trenucima Rakitića u dresu Seville, kao i brojne poruke njegovih suigrača. Rakitić je u uvodu press konferencije poručio kako ne bi volio zaplakati, ali mu to nije pošlo za rukom.

- Postoje trenuci kada morate shvatiti da je stiglo vrijeme za kraj, to je jako važno shvatiti, ali to može boljeti - rekao je Rakitić pa nastavio:

- Sevilla je više od samo doma za mene, sada odlazim, ali ću se jednog dana vratiti. Nažalost, ne kao igrač, ali ovaj klub će me uvijek imati uz sebe. Nastavit ću podržavati klub izdaleka u ovoj teškoj sezoni.

Rakitić je također otkrio kako ga smeta činjenica da ne može više pomoći klubu kao nekada.

- Želio bih počinjati svaku utakmicu, ali zamisli novog trenera nisu iste kao i moje. Želio sam pomoći Sevilli na terenu, ne bih podnijeti da nemoćno s klupe promatram što se događa.

Kada je u pitanju ponuda Al Shababa Rakitić je rekao:

- Imaju sjajan projekt, momčad su koja želi rasti i imaju mladog predsjednika koji će napraviti sve što može da to i ostvari. Mislim da mogu pokazati svoj najbolji nogomet i pomoći mladima. Lako smo postigli dogovor.

Ivan Rakitić se slomio, bivši Vatreni u suzama: ‘Jednu stvar treba shvatiti, ali to može jako boljeti‘

Ivan Rakitić početkom je tjedna kompletirao svoj prelazak u Al Shabab, prvoligaša iz Saudijske Arabije, s kojim je potpisao ugovor do lipnja 2025. godine. Rakitić je obavio sve liječničke preglede te službeno stavio potpis na vjernost klubu kojeg je do prije mjesec dana vodio hrvatski strateg Igor Bišćan.

Bivši reprezentativac i dokapetan Hrvatske tako je nakon trinaest godina napustio Španjolsku. Od siječnja 2011. nastupao je za Sevillu s kojom je 2014. osvojio Europsku ligu, pa je igrao za Barcelonu s kojom je osvojio Ligu prvaka 2015. godine. Nakon povratka u Sevillu 2020. došao je do novog pehara Europske lige 2023. godine, a treba istaknuti kako je ‘Raketa‘ stranac s najviše nastupa u povijesti Seville.

Klub je uoči njegovog odlaska održao i konferenciju za novinare na kojoj se bivši Vatreni oprostio od svojih suigrača i navijača. Predsjednik kluba José María del Nido Carrasco, Rakitića je nazvao ‘jednim od najvećih igrača u povijesti Seville‘.

Okupljenima je prikazan jedan videozapis s najboljim trenucima Rakitića u dresu Seville, kao i brojne poruke njegovih suigrača. Rakitić je u uvodu press konferencije poručio kako ne bi volio zaplakati, ali mu to nije pošlo za rukom.

- Postoje trenuci kada morate shvatiti da je stiglo vrijeme za kraj, to je jako važno shvatiti, ali to može boljeti - rekao je Rakitić pa nastavio:

- Sevilla je više od samo doma za mene, sada odlazim, ali ću se jednog dana vratiti. Nažalost, ne kao igrač, ali ovaj klub će me uvijek imati uz sebe. Nastavit ću podržavati klub izdaleka u ovoj teškoj sezoni.

Rakitić je također otkrio kako ga smeta činjenica da ne može više pomoći klubu kao nekada.

- Želio bih počinjati svaku utakmicu, ali zamisli novog trenera nisu iste kao i moje. Želio sam pomoći Sevilli na terenu, ne bih podnijeti da nemoćno s klupe promatram što se događa.

Kada je u pitanju ponuda Al Shababa Rakitić je rekao:

- Imaju sjajan projekt, momčad su koja želi rasti i imaju mladog predsjednika koji će napraviti sve što može da to i ostvari. Mislim da mogu pokazati svoj najbolji nogomet i pomoći mladima. Lako smo postigli dogovor.
