Njemački reprezentativac turskog podrijetla Ilkay Gundogan ponovno je bio na meti njemačkih navijača zbog nedavne izjave da je Recep Tayyip Erdogan njegov predsjednik.
Domači navijači na stadionu BayArena u Leverkusenu, gdje je u petak Njemačka sa 2-1 nadigrala Saudijsku Arabiju u pripremnoj utakmici za SP, zviždali su Gundoganu prilikom ulaska u igru u 57. minuti, ali i svaki puta kad bi lopta bila u njegovom posjedu, objavili su britanski mediji.
Ponašanje navijača razbjesnilo je njemačkog izbornika Joachima Loewa: "Ovakvo ponašanje navijača nikome ne koristi. Gundogan je pojasnio okolnosti vezane uz susret sa turskim predsjednikom, te je naglasio svoju privrženost njemačkim vrijednostima. No, navijači su mu opet zviždali. Pitam ih, što bi sada Gundogan trebao učiniti?"
Tako se je u Leverkusenu ponovila situacija koju su Gundogan i Mesut Ozil doživjeli prije tjedan dana u Klagenfurtu, kada je Njemačka izgubila od Austrije 1-2. Tada su njemački navijači također zviždali dvojici svojih reprezentativaca turskih korijena. U susretu protiv Saudijske Arabije Ozil nije igrao zbog lakše ozljede, pa je sav bijes njemačkih navijača išao na račun Gundogana.
Ozil i Gundogan rođeni su u Njemačkoj, u Gelsenkirchenu, i igrali su za sve dobne kategorije njemačke reprezentacije, od kadetske do seniorske.
Problem je nastao kad su se u svibnju u Londonu Gundogan i Ozil sastali sa turskim predsjednikom Erdoganom, a Gundogan je na društvenim mrežama objavio fotografiju sa tog sastanka sa potpisom "moj predsjednik".
Zbog sastanka sa turskim predsjednikom obojicu je kritizirao Njemački nogometni savez, a Gundogan je nakon toga izjavio da osjeća povezanost sa Turskom, ali i da se osjeća privilegiranim što je odrastao u Njemačkoj.

Njemački reprezentativac turskog podrijetla Ilkay Gundogan ponovno je bio na meti njemačkih navijača zbog nedavne izjave da je Recep Tayyip Erdogan njegov predsjednik.
Domači navijači na stadionu BayArena u Leverkusenu, gdje je u petak Njemačka sa 2-1 nadigrala Saudijsku Arabiju u pripremnoj utakmici za SP, zviždali su Gundoganu prilikom ulaska u igru u 57. minuti, ali i svaki puta kad bi lopta bila u njegovom posjedu, objavili su britanski mediji.
Ponašanje navijača razbjesnilo je njemačkog izbornika Joachima Loewa: "Ovakvo ponašanje navijača nikome ne koristi. Gundogan je pojasnio okolnosti vezane uz susret sa turskim predsjednikom, te je naglasio svoju privrženost njemačkim vrijednostima. No, navijači su mu opet zviždali. Pitam ih, što bi sada Gundogan trebao učiniti?"
Tako se je u Leverkusenu ponovila situacija koju su Gundogan i Mesut Ozil doživjeli prije tjedan dana u Klagenfurtu, kada je Njemačka izgubila od Austrije 1-2. Tada su njemački navijači također zviždali dvojici svojih reprezentativaca turskih korijena. U susretu protiv Saudijske Arabije Ozil nije igrao zbog lakše ozljede, pa je sav bijes njemačkih navijača išao na račun Gundogana.
Ozil i Gundogan rođeni su u Njemačkoj, u Gelsenkirchenu, i igrali su za sve dobne kategorije njemačke reprezentacije, od kadetske do seniorske.
Problem je nastao kad su se u svibnju u Londonu Gundogan i Ozil sastali sa turskim predsjednikom Erdoganom, a Gundogan je na društvenim mrežama objavio fotografiju sa tog sastanka sa potpisom "moj predsjednik".
Zbog sastanka sa turskim predsjednikom obojicu je kritizirao Njemački nogometni savez, a Gundogan je nakon toga izjavio da osjeća povezanost sa Turskom, ali i da se osjeća privilegiranim što je odrastao u Njemačkoj.
