Union Berlin objavio je kako će u novoj sezoni domaće utakmice Lige prvaka umjesto na svom igrati na stadionu najvećeg konkurenta, gradskog rivala Herthe.

Njemački klub u kojem kruh zarađuje i bivši kapetan Hajduka hrvatski reprezentativac Josip Juranović na taj se potez odlučio zbog toga što njegov An der Alten Försterei stadion prima samo 22 tisuće gledatelja, a Union ima čak 56 tisuća članova. Zbog toga će prošle sezone četvrtoplasirani sastav Bundeslige svoje domaće susrete igrati na Olimpijskom stadionu u Berlinu, inače domu Herthe. Olimpijski stadion prima oko 75 tisuća gledatelja. Na taj način će se moći zadovoljiti želja članova i ostalih navijača da u što većem broju budu na povijesnim domaćim susretima voljenog kluba. Nije problem što je većina mjesta na stadionu Uniona za stajanje, zadovoljio bi i tako standarde UEFA-e i Lige prvaka, već u klubu žele omogućiti što većem broju navijača da dođe na utakmice, a što će posredno donijeti i osjetno veće prihode od ulaznica.

Union Berlin je kultni klub poznat po izrazito strastvenim navijačima koji su klub spašavali od bankrota. Prodavali su čak i vlastitu krv da bi financijski pomogli klubu, ali su svojedobno i vlastitim rukama obnavljali An der Alten Försterei stadion. No, sada će možda i najveće domaće utakmice u klupskoj povijesti igrati na drugom mjestu.

Bit će to i pravi udarac Herthi i njenim navijačima. Dok će Union na Olimpijskom stadionu igrati Ligu prvaka, prvi put u povijesti kluba, za to vrijeme će Hertha tamo nastupati u domaćim susretima 2. Bundeslige u koju je ispala na kraju prošle sezone, kao posljednji klub elitnog društva. Union će na An der Alten Försterei stadionu ipak igrati barem utakmice Lige prvaka mladih.

Union Berlin objavio je kako će u novoj sezoni domaće utakmice Lige prvaka umjesto na svom igrati na stadionu najvećeg konkurenta, gradskog rivala Herthe.

Njemački klub u kojem kruh zarađuje i bivši kapetan Hajduka hrvatski reprezentativac Josip Juranović na taj se potez odlučio zbog toga što njegov An der Alten Försterei stadion prima samo 22 tisuće gledatelja, a Union ima čak 56 tisuća članova. Zbog toga će prošle sezone četvrtoplasirani sastav Bundeslige svoje domaće susrete igrati na Olimpijskom stadionu u Berlinu, inače domu Herthe. Olimpijski stadion prima oko 75 tisuća gledatelja. Na taj način će se moći zadovoljiti želja članova i ostalih navijača da u što većem broju budu na povijesnim domaćim susretima voljenog kluba. Nije problem što je većina mjesta na stadionu Uniona za stajanje, zadovoljio bi i tako standarde UEFA-e i Lige prvaka, već u klubu žele omogućiti što većem broju navijača da dođe na utakmice, a što će posredno donijeti i osjetno veće prihode od ulaznica.

Union Berlin je kultni klub poznat po izrazito strastvenim navijačima koji su klub spašavali od bankrota. Prodavali su čak i vlastitu krv da bi financijski pomogli klubu, ali su svojedobno i vlastitim rukama obnavljali An der Alten Försterei stadion. No, sada će možda i najveće domaće utakmice u klupskoj povijesti igrati na drugom mjestu.

Union Berlin objavio je kako će u novoj sezoni domaće utakmice Lige prvaka umjesto na svom igrati na stadionu najvećeg konkurenta, gradskog rivala Herthe.

Njemački klub u kojem kruh zarađuje i bivši kapetan Hajduka hrvatski reprezentativac Josip Juranović na taj se potez odlučio zbog toga što njegov An der Alten Försterei stadion prima samo 22 tisuće gledatelja, a Union ima čak 56 tisuća članova. Zbog toga će prošle sezone četvrtoplasirani sastav Bundeslige svoje domaće susrete igrati na Olimpijskom stadionu u Berlinu, inače domu Herthe. Olimpijski stadion prima oko 75 tisuća gledatelja. Na taj način će se moći zadovoljiti želja članova i ostalih navijača da u što većem broju budu na povijesnim domaćim susretima voljenog kluba. Nije problem što je većina mjesta na stadionu Uniona za stajanje, zadovoljio bi i tako standarde UEFA-e i Lige prvaka, već u klubu žele omogućiti što većem broju navijača da dođe na utakmice, a što će posredno donijeti i osjetno veće prihode od ulaznica.

Union Berlin je kultni klub poznat po izrazito strastvenim navijačima koji su klub spašavali od bankrota. Prodavali su čak i vlastitu krv da bi financijski pomogli klubu, ali su svojedobno i vlastitim rukama obnavljali An der Alten Försterei stadion. No, sada će možda i najveće domaće utakmice u klupskoj povijesti igrati na drugom mjestu.
