Igrači francuske nogometne Ligue 1 i Ligue 2 proteklog vikenda su zamoljeni da na svojim dresovima nose brojeve duginih boja uoči Međunarodnog dana borbe protiv homofobije, transfobije i bifobije.
Kapetanske trake su također bile u duginim bojama. Međutim, nekoliko igrača Toulousea, Nantesa i Guingampa odbili su sudjelovati u kampanji.
Zbog toga su petorica igrača Toulousea povučena iz momčadi uoči nedjeljnog ogleda protiv Nantesa jer nisu željeli sudjelovati u kampanji, prenose francuski mediji.
"Neki igrači iz prve momčadi izrazili su svoje neslaganje s povezivanjem njihove slike s duginim bojama koje predstavljaju LGBT pokret," objavio je Toulouse u priopćenju.
"Poštujući individualne izbore svojih igrača, klub je navedene igrače odlučio izostaviti iz utakmice."
Jedan od igrača koji nije nastupio bio je branič Toulousea Marokanac Zakaria Aboukhlal.
"Odlučio sam da neću sudjelovati u utakmici", napisao je na Twitteru.
"Poštovanje je vrijednost koju jako cijenim. Ono se odnosi na druge, ali također uključuje poštovanje mojih osobnih uvjerenja. Stoga ne vjerujem da sam najprikladnija osoba za sudjelovanje u ovoj kampanji," poručio je.
Odbijanje nekih nogometaša u izražavanju podrške protiv homofobije izazvalo je buru u Francuskoj.
"To je jadno", komentirao je glasnogovornik francuske vlade Olivier Veran na France 2.
"Homofobija nije mišljenje, već zločin," dodao je.
"Ne tražimo da se vozite na Prideu. Samo tražimo da se solidarizirate protiv homofobije," citirao je sportski magazin L‘Equipe Yoanna Lemairea, predsjednika organizacije Foot Ensemble koja se bori protiv diskriminacije u nogometu.
Ministrica sporta Amelie Oudea-Castera podržala je kampanju i komentirala ovaj slučaj.
"Mislim da je odgovornost klubova poduzimanje sankcija", rekla je.
"U ovakvoj akciji, koja uključuje sve klubove oko temeljnog pitanja nediskriminacije, morate se pokazati."
Nacionalno etičko vijeće Francuskog nogometnog saveza (FFF) neće tražiti kažnjavanje nogometaša, ali želi skrenuti pozornost tih igrača na ozbiljnosti njihovog ponašanja.
"Čak i ako toga nisu svjesni, suučesnici su homofobnog ponašanja," poručio je predsjednik Vijeća Patrick Anton.
"Za one koji se ne osjećaju zabrinuti zbog borbe protiv homofobije, nošenje broja u duginim bojama u okviru nacionalne akcije koju organizira francuski profesionalni nogomet mora biti dio kompromisa. Međutim, ponašanje nekolicine ne bi trebalo zamagliti uspjeh ove inicijative," dodao je.

Igrači francuske nogometne Ligue 1 i Ligue 2 proteklog vikenda su zamoljeni da na svojim dresovima nose brojeve duginih boja uoči Međunarodnog dana borbe protiv homofobije, transfobije i bifobije.
Kapetanske trake su također bile u duginim bojama. Međutim, nekoliko igrača Toulousea, Nantesa i Guingampa odbili su sudjelovati u kampanji.
Zbog toga su petorica igrača Toulousea povučena iz momčadi uoči nedjeljnog ogleda protiv Nantesa jer nisu željeli sudjelovati u kampanji, prenose francuski mediji.
"Neki igrači iz prve momčadi izrazili su svoje neslaganje s povezivanjem njihove slike s duginim bojama koje predstavljaju LGBT pokret," objavio je Toulouse u priopćenju.
"Poštujući individualne izbore svojih igrača, klub je navedene igrače odlučio izostaviti iz utakmice."
Jedan od igrača koji nije nastupio bio je branič Toulousea Marokanac Zakaria Aboukhlal.
"Odlučio sam da neću sudjelovati u utakmici", napisao je na Twitteru.
"Poštovanje je vrijednost koju jako cijenim. Ono se odnosi na druge, ali također uključuje poštovanje mojih osobnih uvjerenja. Stoga ne vjerujem da sam najprikladnija osoba za sudjelovanje u ovoj kampanji," poručio je.
Odbijanje nekih nogometaša u izražavanju podrške protiv homofobije izazvalo je buru u Francuskoj.
"To je jadno", komentirao je glasnogovornik francuske vlade Olivier Veran na France 2.
"Homofobija nije mišljenje, već zločin," dodao je.
"Ne tražimo da se vozite na Prideu. Samo tražimo da se solidarizirate protiv homofobije," citirao je sportski magazin L‘Equipe Yoanna Lemairea, predsjednika organizacije Foot Ensemble koja se bori protiv diskriminacije u nogometu.
Ministrica sporta Amelie Oudea-Castera podržala je kampanju i komentirala ovaj slučaj.
"Mislim da je odgovornost klubova poduzimanje sankcija", rekla je.
"U ovakvoj akciji, koja uključuje sve klubove oko temeljnog pitanja nediskriminacije, morate se pokazati."
Nacionalno etičko vijeće Francuskog nogometnog saveza (FFF) neće tražiti kažnjavanje nogometaša, ali želi skrenuti pozornost tih igrača na ozbiljnosti njihovog ponašanja.
"Čak i ako toga nisu svjesni, suučesnici su homofobnog ponašanja," poručio je predsjednik Vijeća Patrick Anton.
"Za one koji se ne osjećaju zabrinuti zbog borbe protiv homofobije, nošenje broja u duginim bojama u okviru nacionalne akcije koju organizira francuski profesionalni nogomet mora biti dio kompromisa. Međutim, ponašanje nekolicine ne bi trebalo zamagliti uspjeh ove inicijative," dodao je.
