Dan uoči gostovanja Slovenije u Splitu na konferenciji za medije na Poljudu pojavili su se izbornik Matjaž Kek i jedan od najboljih vratara svijeta Jan Oblak.

- Moramo pokazati borbenost, požrtvovnost. Teško je govoriti o rezultatu, ali nadam se pozitivnom rezultatu. Naša utakmica protiv Slovačke nije bila slaba, ali je slab bio rezultat. Protiv Malte je potom rezultat bio bolji, ali je ipak igra bila slabija. Pokazujemo neodlučnost, nervozu, nedostaje nam samopouzdanja što bi nam sigurno donio neki dobar rezultat na Poljudu – rekao je Oblak.

Na Poljudu je Slovenija odigrala 3:3 još 1997. godine?

- Toga se ne sjećam. Prvi veći stadion na kojem sam bio nakon Bežigrada je Poljud, bio sam na Poljudu – rekao je vratar Atletico Madrida Oblak.

Uslijedilo je čuđenje i slovenskih medija vrteći film kada je to igrao u Splitu, pa pitanje:

Kada si bio tu?

- Kada sam bio na moru! - rekao je Oblak i nasmijao odgovorom sve okupljene.

Ulazi li Hrvatska umornija u ovaj susret s obzirom da je imala dva teška gostovanja u Rusiji i Slovačkoj, za razliku od Slovenije koja je imala dva domaća susreta i slijedi joj ovo bliže gostovanje?

- Ne bih rekao da je tako. Igrači Hrvatske imaju neku malu prednost zato što su više navikli na ovakav ritam – smatra Oblak.

Ovog ljeta ste bili već u Splitu sa klupskim suigračem Ivom Grbić (u međuvremenu je otišao na posudbu u Lille)?

- Bio sam poslije dugo vremena opet ovdje. U Splitu je uvijek super, predivno. Ivo je super domaćin – rekao je Oblak.

Matjaž Kek je naglasio.

- Ovo je teško gostovanje, ali veselimo se igranju u ovom ambijentu kojeg jako dobro poznajemo. Pred nama je ogroman zadatak, ali želimo odigrati dobru utakmicu i doći do pozitivnog rezultata.

Jedan od hrvatskih novinara nije se libio reći i pitati:

Nije nam drago što ste na Poljudu, nikada tu niste izgubili na klupi Rijeke. Biste li bili i bodom zadovoljni?

- Znamo tko je favorit u ovoj utakmici, toga smo svjesni. Ali sportski je očekivati pozitivan rezultat. Ne možemo dići ruke u zrak i reći to je to. I za nas je ovo treća utakmica u nizu, pa testiranja, putovanja, protokoli... Moramo biti odlučni, hrabri, disciplinirani... Nema ova utakmica veze s onom utakmicom u Ljubljani. Ovo je neko novo vrijeme, novi sastavi, nova mladost s naše strane. Siguran sam da će Slovenija odigrati dobru utakmicu – rekao je Kek.

Najavili ste rotacije igrača? Jesu li nosioci igre spremni?

- To se vidi na momčadi. Mora se rotirati, ako se to ne radi nastane problem. Koncentrirani smo samo na ovu utakmicu. Na polovici smo kvalifikacija, mislim da je zasad naša pozicija na tablici zadovoljavajuća, još smo u igri za plasman. U dva treninga se ne da ništa napraviti – naglasio je Kek.

Ova Hrvatska je u stvaranju?

- Čestitam kolegi Daliću koji je uz to napravio i rezultat iako vi Hrvati po tome pitanju nikad niste zadovoljni, te iako to još nije dovedeno do kraja. Još i kapetan Modrić nije tu. Naravno, više razmišljam o svojim igračima. Znamo mi jako dobro što znači Hrvatska, koji su to igrači, koja kvaliteta. Ali sportski je pokušati napravit sve, pa i malo preko toga u ovom ambijentu, a da bismo napraviti rezultat.

Možete li povući paralelu s utakmicama kada biste ovdje dolazili igrati protiv Hajduka, u također vrućoj atmosferi?

- Baš nikakve paralele nema s time. Uvijek mi je bilo drago igrati tu, iako nije baš uvijek bilo sve sto posto, poput onoga što je bilo u Dugopolju. Ja moram biti čvrsto na zemlji, to su za mene uspomene za nekakav album. Ne trebam vama govoriti kakav respekt imam prema reprezentaciji Hrvatske i hrvatskom nogometu – rekao je Kek.

Skupina?

- Govorio sam uvijek da će biti skupina izjednačena. S bijele točke smo dobili Maltu, Cipar. Stalno svima prijeti pogrešan korak, stalno smo pod pritiskom. Ali od početka je Hrvatska prvi favorit skupine – rekao je slovenski izbornik i bivši trener Rijeke.

Je li vam olakšanje izostanak Modrića i klasične špice kod Hrvatske?

- Modrića je kao igrača i personu teško nadomjestiti, to moraju napraviti kao cijela momčad. To su napravili u Slovačkoj i zato su osvojili tri boda. Nisam siguran da Hrvatska nema napadača u ovom rosteru. Vidim tu nekoliko top napadača, jednog Čolaka kojeg sam trenirao u Rijeci, a sada odlično igra u Švedskoj, Livaju znam već iz Grčke, kada smo s njima igrali u Europi, to je top igrač, Kramarić je puno toga napravio u Rijeci... Mogli bismo tako dugo nabrajati. Ali ima svoju kvalitetu i Slovenija. I naši igrači igraju u top klubovima. Ovo je susjedski dvoboj, neka budu tenzije, ali u sportskoj atmosferi i priželjkujem dobar rezultat za Sloveniju – rekao je Kek.

Dan uoči gostovanja Slovenije u Splitu na konferenciji za medije na Poljudu pojavili su se izbornik Matjaž Kek i jedan od najboljih vratara svijeta Jan Oblak.

- Moramo pokazati borbenost, požrtvovnost. Teško je govoriti o rezultatu, ali nadam se pozitivnom rezultatu. Naša utakmica protiv Slovačke nije bila slaba, ali je slab bio rezultat. Protiv Malte je potom rezultat bio bolji, ali je ipak igra bila slabija. Pokazujemo neodlučnost, nervozu, nedostaje nam samopouzdanja što bi nam sigurno donio neki dobar rezultat na Poljudu – rekao je Oblak.

Na Poljudu je Slovenija odigrala 3:3 još 1997. godine?

- Toga se ne sjećam. Prvi veći stadion na kojem sam bio nakon Bežigrada je Poljud, bio sam na Poljudu – rekao je vratar Atletico Madrida Oblak.

Uslijedilo je čuđenje i slovenskih medija vrteći film kada je to igrao u Splitu, pa pitanje:

Kada si bio tu?

- Kada sam bio na moru! - rekao je Oblak i nasmijao odgovorom sve okupljene.

Ulazi li Hrvatska umornija u ovaj susret s obzirom da je imala dva teška gostovanja u Rusiji i Slovačkoj, za razliku od Slovenije koja je imala dva domaća susreta i slijedi joj ovo bliže gostovanje?

- Ne bih rekao da je tako. Igrači Hrvatske imaju neku malu prednost zato što su više navikli na ovakav ritam – smatra Oblak.

Ovog ljeta ste bili već u Splitu sa klupskim suigračem Ivom Grbić (u međuvremenu je otišao na posudbu u Lille)?

- Bio sam poslije dugo vremena opet ovdje. U Splitu je uvijek super, predivno. Ivo je super domaćin – rekao je Oblak.

Matjaž Kek je naglasio.

- Ovo je teško gostovanje, ali veselimo se igranju u ovom ambijentu kojeg jako dobro poznajemo. Pred nama je ogroman zadatak, ali želimo odigrati dobru utakmicu i doći do pozitivnog rezultata.

Jedan od hrvatskih novinara nije se libio reći i pitati:

Nije nam drago što ste na Poljudu, nikada tu niste izgubili na klupi Rijeke. Biste li bili i bodom zadovoljni?

- Znamo tko je favorit u ovoj utakmici, toga smo svjesni. Ali sportski je očekivati pozitivan rezultat. Ne možemo dići ruke u zrak i reći to je to. I za nas je ovo treća utakmica u nizu, pa testiranja, putovanja, protokoli... Moramo biti odlučni, hrabri, disciplinirani... Nema ova utakmica veze s onom utakmicom u Ljubljani. Ovo je neko novo vrijeme, novi sastavi, nova mladost s naše strane. Siguran sam da će Slovenija odigrati dobru utakmicu – rekao je Kek.

Najavili ste rotacije igrača? Jesu li nosioci igre spremni?

- To se vidi na momčadi. Mora se rotirati, ako se to ne radi nastane problem. Koncentrirani smo samo na ovu utakmicu. Na polovici smo kvalifikacija, mislim da je zasad naša pozicija na tablici zadovoljavajuća, još smo u igri za plasman. U dva treninga se ne da ništa napraviti – naglasio je Kek.

Ova Hrvatska je u stvaranju?

- Čestitam kolegi Daliću koji je uz to napravio i rezultat iako vi Hrvati po tome pitanju nikad niste zadovoljni, te iako to još nije dovedeno do kraja. Još i kapetan Modrić nije tu. Naravno, više razmišljam o svojim igračima. Znamo mi jako dobro što znači Hrvatska, koji su to igrači, koja kvaliteta. Ali sportski je pokušati napravit sve, pa i malo preko toga u ovom ambijentu, a da bismo napraviti rezultat.

Možete li povući paralelu s utakmicama kada biste ovdje dolazili igrati protiv Hajduka, u također vrućoj atmosferi?

- Baš nikakve paralele nema s time. Uvijek mi je bilo drago igrati tu, iako nije baš uvijek bilo sve sto posto, poput onoga što je bilo u Dugopolju. Ja moram biti čvrsto na zemlji, to su za mene uspomene za nekakav album. Ne trebam vama govoriti kakav respekt imam prema reprezentaciji Hrvatske i hrvatskom nogometu – rekao je Kek.

Skupina?

- Govorio sam uvijek da će biti skupina izjednačena. S bijele točke smo dobili Maltu, Cipar. Stalno svima prijeti pogrešan korak, stalno smo pod pritiskom. Ali od početka je Hrvatska prvi favorit skupine – rekao je slovenski izbornik i bivši trener Rijeke.

Je li vam olakšanje izostanak Modrića i klasične špice kod Hrvatske?

- Modrića je kao igrača i personu teško nadomjestiti, to moraju napraviti kao cijela momčad. To su napravili u Slovačkoj i zato su osvojili tri boda. Nisam siguran da Hrvatska nema napadača u ovom rosteru. Vidim tu nekoliko top napadača, jednog Čolaka kojeg sam trenirao u Rijeci, a sada odlično igra u Švedskoj, Livaju znam već iz Grčke, kada smo s njima igrali u Europi, to je top igrač, Kramarić je puno toga napravio u Rijeci... Mogli bismo tako dugo nabrajati. Ali ima svoju kvalitetu i Slovenija. I naši igrači igraju u top klubovima. Ovo je susjedski dvoboj, neka budu tenzije, ali u sportskoj atmosferi i priželjkujem dobar rezultat za Sloveniju – rekao je Kek.

Dan uoči gostovanja Slovenije u Splitu na konferenciji za medije na Poljudu pojavili su se izbornik Matjaž Kek i jedan od najboljih vratara svijeta Jan Oblak.

- Moramo pokazati borbenost, požrtvovnost. Teško je govoriti o rezultatu, ali nadam se pozitivnom rezultatu. Naša utakmica protiv Slovačke nije bila slaba, ali je slab bio rezultat. Protiv Malte je potom rezultat bio bolji, ali je ipak igra bila slabija. Pokazujemo neodlučnost, nervozu, nedostaje nam samopouzdanja što bi nam sigurno donio neki dobar rezultat na Poljudu – rekao je Oblak.
