Menadžer engleskog premierligaša Newcastle Uniteda Steve Bruce (60) kazao je kako zna da bi uskoro mogao biti smijenjen nakon što  je "Svrake" preuzeo saudijski konzorcij.

Newcastle, koji je posljednjih 14 godina bio u vlasništvu Mikea Ashleyja, kupio je konzorcij koji se sastoji od saudijskog investicijskog fonda, PCP Capital Partnersa i braće Davida i Simona Reubena.

Dosadašnji vlasnik "Svraka" prodao je klub za 305 milijuna funta, Saudijci će sada držati u rukama 80 posto dionica, a Amanda Staveley i njezina tvrtka PCP Capital, kao i braća Reuben imat će po 10 posto. 

"Želim nastaviti posao, želio bih priliku pokazati novim vlasnicima što mogu učiniti, ali morate biti realni i možda bi htjeli da im novi menadžer pokrene stvari", rekao je za The Daily Telegraph.

"Novi vlasnici obično žele novog trenera, dovoljno dugo ovo radim da sam to shvatio," dodao je 60-godišnji Bruce koji je u karijeri vodio tisuću utakmica.

Bruce je preuzeo Newcastle u srpnju 2019. godine, a na "tankom ledu" se nalazio i prije saudijskog preuzimanja. Naime, Newcastle United se trenutačno nalazi na 19. mjestu sa tri boda osvojenih u prvih sedam kola.

"Neću biti ogorčen ili ljut zbog bilo čega, što god se dogodilo. Naravno da će biti tuge ako izgubim posao. To je posao koji sam želio cijeli život i koliko god bilo teško, izuzetno sam ponosan što sam menadžer Newcastle Uniteda. To se nikada neće promijeniti," dodao je Bruce koji je poznat kao veliki navijač "Svraka".

Dodao je kako su ga smetale neke kritike i vrijeđanja koja je trpio na društvenim mrežma.

"Neke stvari koje su napisane i rečene o meni, zlostavljanje na društvenim mrežama, samo mi je drago što moji roditelji nisu bili živi da to vide i čuju jer bi im to slomilo srce", rekao je.

"Ovo je bio njihov dom i njihovi ljudi. Ovo je bio njihov grad, odakle sam i kamo sam se uvijek želio vratiti. Ali koliko god bilo teško, pokušao sam uživati koliko god mogu," poručio je.

Tijekom karijere Bruce je vodio i Sheffield Wednesday, Aston Villu, Hull City, Sunderland, Wigan, Birmingham City i Crystal Palace.

Menadžer engleskog premierligaša Newcastle Uniteda Steve Bruce (60) kazao je kako zna da bi uskoro mogao biti smijenjen nakon što  je "Svrake" preuzeo saudijski konzorcij.

Newcastle, koji je posljednjih 14 godina bio u vlasništvu Mikea Ashleyja, kupio je konzorcij koji se sastoji od saudijskog investicijskog fonda, PCP Capital Partnersa i braće Davida i Simona Reubena.

Dosadašnji vlasnik "Svraka" prodao je klub za 305 milijuna funta, Saudijci će sada držati u rukama 80 posto dionica, a Amanda Staveley i njezina tvrtka PCP Capital, kao i braća Reuben imat će po 10 posto. 

"Želim nastaviti posao, želio bih priliku pokazati novim vlasnicima što mogu učiniti, ali morate biti realni i možda bi htjeli da im novi menadžer pokrene stvari", rekao je za The Daily Telegraph.

"Novi vlasnici obično žele novog trenera, dovoljno dugo ovo radim da sam to shvatio," dodao je 60-godišnji Bruce koji je u karijeri vodio tisuću utakmica.

Bruce je preuzeo Newcastle u srpnju 2019. godine, a na "tankom ledu" se nalazio i prije saudijskog preuzimanja. Naime, Newcastle United se trenutačno nalazi na 19. mjestu sa tri boda osvojenih u prvih sedam kola.

"Neću biti ogorčen ili ljut zbog bilo čega, što god se dogodilo. Naravno da će biti tuge ako izgubim posao. To je posao koji sam želio cijeli život i koliko god bilo teško, izuzetno sam ponosan što sam menadžer Newcastle Uniteda. To se nikada neće promijeniti," dodao je Bruce koji je poznat kao veliki navijač "Svraka".

Dodao je kako su ga smetale neke kritike i vrijeđanja koja je trpio na društvenim mrežma.

"Neke stvari koje su napisane i rečene o meni, zlostavljanje na društvenim mrežama, samo mi je drago što moji roditelji nisu bili živi da to vide i čuju jer bi im to slomilo srce", rekao je.

"Ovo je bio njihov dom i njihovi ljudi. Ovo je bio njihov grad, odakle sam i kamo sam se uvijek želio vratiti. Ali koliko god bilo teško, pokušao sam uživati koliko god mogu," poručio je.

Tijekom karijere Bruce je vodio i Sheffield Wednesday, Aston Villu, Hull City, Sunderland, Wigan, Birmingham City i Crystal Palace.

Steve Bruce: Znam da bi uskoro mogao dobiti otkaz

Menadžer engleskog premierligaša Newcastle Uniteda Steve Bruce (60) kazao je kako zna da bi uskoro mogao biti smijenjen nakon što  je "Svrake" preuzeo saudijski konzorcij.

Newcastle, koji je posljednjih 14 godina bio u vlasništvu Mikea Ashleyja, kupio je konzorcij koji se sastoji od saudijskog investicijskog fonda, PCP Capital Partnersa i braće Davida i Simona Reubena.

Dosadašnji vlasnik "Svraka" prodao je klub za 305 milijuna funta, Saudijci će sada držati u rukama 80 posto dionica, a Amanda Staveley i njezina tvrtka PCP Capital, kao i braća Reuben imat će po 10 posto. 

"Želim nastaviti posao, želio bih priliku pokazati novim vlasnicima što mogu učiniti, ali morate biti realni i možda bi htjeli da im novi menadžer pokrene stvari", rekao je za The Daily Telegraph.
