Danski stručnjak Jon Dahl Tomasson (47) izabran je za novog izbornika švedske nogometne reprezentacije, čime je postao prvi strani izbornik te zemlje.

Bivši danski napadač će za švedskim kormilom naslijediti Jannea Anderssona koji je u studenom prošle godine dobio otkaz nakon što nije nije uspio odvesti Švedsku na Euro 2024.

Tomasson, koji je nedavno podnio ostavku na mjesto menadžera engleskog drugoligaša Blackburn Roversa, potpisao je ugovor do konca kvalifikacija za Svjetsko prvenstvo 2026. godine, koji će se automatski produžiti u slučaju plasmana na World Cup.

"Jako se veselim početku ovog velikog zadatka i susretu s navijačima, igračima i naravno medijima u Švedskoj," kazao je 47-godišnji Danac.

Tomasson je upisao 112 nastupa za Dansku i postigao 52 gola. Tijekom karijere je igrao za Koge, Heerenveen, Newcastle United, Feyenoord, Milan, Stuttgart i Villarreal.

Trenersku karijeru je zapoečo kao pomoćni trener Excelsiora, bio je pomoćnik i u Vitesseu i danskoj reprezentaciji, od 2020. do 2021 je vodio Malmo, a zadnje dvije sezone Blackburn.

Danski stručnjak Jon Dahl Tomasson (47) izabran je za novog izbornika švedske nogometne reprezentacije, čime je postao prvi strani izbornik te zemlje.

Bivši danski napadač će za švedskim kormilom naslijediti Jannea Anderssona koji je u studenom prošle godine dobio otkaz nakon što nije nije uspio odvesti Švedsku na Euro 2024.

Tomasson, koji je nedavno podnio ostavku na mjesto menadžera engleskog drugoligaša Blackburn Roversa, potpisao je ugovor do konca kvalifikacija za Svjetsko prvenstvo 2026. godine, koji će se automatski produžiti u slučaju plasmana na World Cup.

"Jako se veselim početku ovog velikog zadatka i susretu s navijačima, igračima i naravno medijima u Švedskoj," kazao je 47-godišnji Danac.

Tomasson je upisao 112 nastupa za Dansku i postigao 52 gola. Tijekom karijere je igrao za Koge, Heerenveen, Newcastle United, Feyenoord, Milan, Stuttgart i Villarreal.

Trenersku karijeru je zapoečo kao pomoćni trener Excelsiora, bio je pomoćnik i u Vitesseu i danskoj reprezentaciji, od 2020. do 2021 je vodio Malmo, a zadnje dvije sezone Blackburn.

Švedska nogometna reprezentacija prvi put dobila stranog izbornika, legenda preuzela vruću klupu

Danski stručnjak Jon Dahl Tomasson (47) izabran je za novog izbornika švedske nogometne reprezentacije, čime je postao prvi strani izbornik te zemlje.

Bivši danski napadač će za švedskim kormilom naslijediti Jannea Anderssona koji je u studenom prošle godine dobio otkaz nakon što nije nije uspio odvesti Švedsku na Euro 2024.

Tomasson, koji je nedavno podnio ostavku na mjesto menadžera engleskog drugoligaša Blackburn Roversa, potpisao je ugovor do konca kvalifikacija za Svjetsko prvenstvo 2026. godine, koji će se automatski produžiti u slučaju plasmana na World Cup.

"Jako se veselim početku ovog velikog zadatka i susretu s navijačima, igračima i naravno medijima u Švedskoj," kazao je 47-godišnji Danac.

Tomasson je upisao 112 nastupa za Dansku i postigao 52 gola. Tijekom karijere je igrao za Koge, Heerenveen, Newcastle United, Feyenoord, Milan, Stuttgart i Villarreal.

Trenersku karijeru je zapoečo kao pomoćni trener Excelsiora, bio je pomoćnik i u Vitesseu i danskoj reprezentaciji, od 2020. do 2021 je vodio Malmo, a zadnje dvije sezone Blackburn.
