Peđa Krstin, Malek Jaziri, Marcelo Tomas Barrios Vera i Altug Celikbilek uhvatili su posljednja četiri mjesta u glavnom ždrijebu ATP Challengera Split Open prošavši drugo kolo kvalifikacija.

Za razliku od prvog dana kada su mečevi bili uglavnom jednosmjerni, završna runda borbe za mjesto u glavnom turniru donijela je više neizvjesnijih mečeva.

Ispao prvi nositelj

Iznenađenje je priredio turski tenisač Celikbilek izbacivši prvog nositelja Francuza Mathiasa Bourguea 7:5, 4:6, 6:0 u jedinom meču koji je jučer nakratko bio prekinut zbog kiše. Nešto ljepše vrijeme nego dan ranije privuklo je i više gledatelja na terenima Firula, a ne sumnjamo da će ih od danas kada kreće glavni turnir biti sve više.

Tuniški veteran Malek Jaziri, koji je prije nepune dvije godine bio 42. igrač svijeta, u tri je seta prošao Brazilca Orlanda Luza (6:2, 4:6, 6:4). Jaziri je u karijeri pobjeđivao Dimitrova, Tsitsipasa, Čilića i Zvereva, no u posljednje je vrijeme izgubio formu i sada je tek 253. u poretku. Ipak, ima iskustvo i kvalitetu i mnogima bi mogao pomrsiti račune ovog tjedna.

Krstin okrenuo Sakamota

Srpski tenisač Peđa Krstin, kojemu je nastup u kvalifikacijama Roland Garrosa bio zabranjen zato što je njegov trener bio pozitivan na Covid-19, okrenuo je Brazilca Pedra Sakamota (6:7 (4), 6:4, 6:0), dok je Čileanac Barrios Vera bio uvjerljiv protiv još jednog Brazilca Guilhermea Clezara 6:2, 6:3 te će u prvom kolu igrati protiv Borne Goje. Dobra je to vijest za našeg tenisača budući da je istog suparnika pobijedio prošlog tjedna na Challengeru u Rumunjskoj.

kompletiran je glavni ždrijeb čiji mečevi počinju danas. Odmah će u akciji biti dvojica splitskih tenisača s pozivnicom, i to na Centralnom terenu. U drugom meču iza 10 sati Duje Ajduković igra protiv Brazilca Joaoa Menezesa, a nakon njih na teren će Gojo i Barrios Vera.

Peđa Krstin, Malek Jaziri, Marcelo Tomas Barrios Vera i Altug Celikbilek uhvatili su posljednja četiri mjesta u glavnom ždrijebu ATP Challengera Split Open prošavši drugo kolo kvalifikacija.

Za razliku od prvog dana kada su mečevi bili uglavnom jednosmjerni, završna runda borbe za mjesto u glavnom turniru donijela je više neizvjesnijih mečeva.

Ispao prvi nositelj

Iznenađenje je priredio turski tenisač Celikbilek izbacivši prvog nositelja Francuza Mathiasa Bourguea 7:5, 4:6, 6:0 u jedinom meču koji je jučer nakratko bio prekinut zbog kiše. Nešto ljepše vrijeme nego dan ranije privuklo je i više gledatelja na terenima Firula, a ne sumnjamo da će ih od danas kada kreće glavni turnir biti sve više.

Tuniški veteran Malek Jaziri, koji je prije nepune dvije godine bio 42. igrač svijeta, u tri je seta prošao Brazilca Orlanda Luza (6:2, 4:6, 6:4). Jaziri je u karijeri pobjeđivao Dimitrova, Tsitsipasa, Čilića i Zvereva, no u posljednje je vrijeme izgubio formu i sada je tek 253. u poretku. Ipak, ima iskustvo i kvalitetu i mnogima bi mogao pomrsiti račune ovog tjedna.

Krstin okrenuo Sakamota

Srpski tenisač Peđa Krstin, kojemu je nastup u kvalifikacijama Roland Garrosa bio zabranjen zato što je njegov trener bio pozitivan na Covid-19, okrenuo je Brazilca Pedra Sakamota (6:7 (4), 6:4, 6:0), dok je Čileanac Barrios Vera bio uvjerljiv protiv još jednog Brazilca Guilhermea Clezara 6:2, 6:3 te će u prvom kolu igrati protiv Borne Goje. Dobra je to vijest za našeg tenisača budući da je istog suparnika pobijedio prošlog tjedna na Challengeru u Rumunjskoj.

kompletiran je glavni ždrijeb čiji mečevi počinju danas. Odmah će u akciji biti dvojica splitskih tenisača s pozivnicom, i to na Centralnom terenu. U drugom meču iza 10 sati Duje Ajduković igra protiv Brazilca Joaoa Menezesa, a nakon njih na teren će Gojo i Barrios Vera.

Peđa Krstin, Malek Jaziri, Marcelo Tomas Barrios Vera i Altug Celikbilek uhvatili su posljednja četiri mjesta u glavnom ždrijebu ATP Challengera Split Open prošavši drugo kolo kvalifikacija.

Za razliku od prvog dana kada su mečevi bili uglavnom jednosmjerni, završna runda borbe za mjesto u glavnom turniru donijela je više neizvjesnijih mečeva.

Ispao prvi nositelj

Iznenađenje je priredio turski tenisač Celikbilek izbacivši prvog nositelja Francuza Mathiasa Bourguea 7:5, 4:6, 6:0 u jedinom meču koji je jučer nakratko bio prekinut zbog kiše. Nešto ljepše vrijeme nego dan ranije privuklo je i više gledatelja na terenima Firula, a ne sumnjamo da će ih od danas kada kreće glavni turnir biti sve više.

Tuniški veteran Malek Jaziri, koji je prije nepune dvije godine bio 42. igra...
