Trostruki prvak države, i to u dva različita sporta, takvi uspjesi ne bi ostavili ravnodušnim ni najvećeg stoika, ali ako i dalje niste impresionirani, pričekajte da saznate da je protagonist ove priče tek 15-godišnji Frano Sučić, član TK Split 1950.

Tek s osam godina je prvi put postao prvak države u gimnastici da bi to ponovio dvije godine kasnije, a prošli mjesec se popeo na tron države po treći put kada je osvojio prvenstvo Hrvatske u tenisu do 16 godina.

Frano se zapravo vjerojatno ni ne sjeća nijednog trenutka svog života da nije aktivno trenirao neki sport. Jedva je znao hodati, a već je svojim viškom energije izluđivao roditelje koji nisu znali što bi s njim. Na njihovu sreću, nedugo kasnije je gimnastički klub Marjan imao poseban program gdje na treninge dolaze roditelji s djecom, a za roditelje energičnog Frane to je bio pun pogodak.

Prvi koraci

- Gimnastiku sam počeo trenirati već s tri godine u gimnastičkom klubu Marjan, bilo je jako teško, ali treneri tamo rade stvarno odličan posao. Svaki dan sam trenirao po tri sata. Baš zato što treninzi traju toliko dugo su me roditelji odlučili upisati na gimnastiku, da usmjerim tu silnu energiju u nešto pozitivno - kaže nam Frano dok se u hladu zida jednog teniskog terena skrivamo od nemilog lipanjskog sunca, a tamo negdje u pozadini čujemo kako i Mili Poljičak fokusirano trenira.

- Kasnije je to postalo ozbiljnije, ali mislim da je to odličan sport za započeti neku karijeru. Prvi put sam bio državni prvak već s osam godina, i onda opet s deset - priča Frano nonšalantno, a u gimnastici nije birao discipline koje bi mu najbolje išle, odabrao ih je sve. Naime, bio je prvak u višeboju.

No, odmah nakon što je po drugi put postao prvak države, ostavio se gimnastike i nije više gledao nazad. Stric ga je jednog dana odveo da proba igrati tenis, jednostavno mu se svidjelo, pa je karike i ruče zamijenio reketom, a ide mu i više nego dobro.

Treninzi uglavnom traju tri sata, a nekada trenira i dvaput dnevno. Uz takav gust raspored, škola, pa treniranje po tri sata dnevno, putovanja na razne turnire, i dalje stigne za svoj gušt zaigrati nogomet s prijateljima.

Inače, osnovu školu je prošao besprijekorno, odlikaš svih osam godina. S takvim ocjenama ni ne čudi da je upisao Prirodoslovnu gimnaziju, a nema sumnje da bi nastavio biti odlikaš da mu se nisu ispriječila silna putovanja na teniske turnire.

- Prošao sam s vrlo dobrim, ali stvarno moram pohvaliti sve profesore jer su imali puno razumijevanja za mene ove godine. Zbog tenisa sam nakupio čak 500 sati izostanaka, ali profe su bili dobre prema meni i izašli mi u susret da uspijem sve obveze riješiti na vrijeme - zahvalan je Frano koji, ako se stvari poslože, kaže da na fakultet planira ‘preko Bare‘:

- Ako bih išao na faks, želim da to bude u Americi. Iskreno, još ne znam što bih htio studirati, ali želim da ima što bolji teniski program i planiram se upisati preko teniske stipendije.

Nije lako izbalansirati taj život učenika i vrsnog tenisača:

- Nosi knjige i udžbenike po turnirima, cijeli dan trenira i igra, a onda navečer, kada bi se trebao odmarati, on mora učiti - napominje nam njegov otac Marko.

Sportska krv mu teče u obitelji, ima i mlađu sestru koja se uspješno bavila gimnastikom u mlađim godinama pa se i ona se prebacila, ali na atletiku. Majka Ivana je također bila tenisačica, i lako se može vidjeti na koga je Frano, jer mu je majka bila prvakinja Jugoslavije u parovima više puta, a po uzoru na nju želi ići studirati u SAD.

No, da ne naglimo previše s fakultetom. Prvenstvo države je tu, a kakvi su planovi za ljeto?

- Neće biti puno odmora. Ovo ljeto ću pokušati odigrati što više ITF turnira, da se izvježbam i postanem što bolji i steknem još više samopouzdanja, i da dobijem što veći ranking - kaže Frano, ali otac Marko, ipak malo iskusnije, zna važnost dobrog odmora:

- Naravno, bit će i nekoliko dana odmora, neće baš sada svaki dan trenirati. Bit će tu i vremena da se ode i na more i sve. Jako je bitno napraviti kraće pauze da sad skroz u glavi ne izgori.

Odmah nakon našeg razgovora, Frano se vratio natrag na teniski teren, neumorno vježbati po ovoj pasjoj vručini, stotine i tisuće zamaha reketom koji će ga, nadamo se, odvesti u nove teniske visine. Još se na kraju zahvalio...:

Trostruki prvak države, i to u dva različita sporta, takvi uspjesi ne bi ostavili ravnodušnim ni najvećeg stoika, ali ako i dalje niste impresionirani, pričekajte da saznate da je protagonist ove priče tek 15-godišnji Frano Sučić, član TK Split 1950.

Tek s osam godina je prvi put postao prvak države u gimnastici da bi to ponovio dvije godine kasnije, a prošli mjesec se popeo na tron države po treći put kada je osvojio prvenstvo Hrvatske u tenisu do 16 godina.

Frano se zapravo vjerojatno ni ne sjeća nijednog trenutka svog života da nije aktivno trenirao neki sport. Jedva je znao hodati, a već je svojim viškom energije izluđivao roditelje koji nisu znali što bi s njim. Na njihovu sreću, nedugo kasnije je gimnastički klub Marjan imao poseban program gdje na treninge dolaze roditelji s djecom, a za roditelje energičnog Frane to je bio pun pogodak.

Prvi koraci

- Gimnastiku sam počeo trenirati već s tri godine u gimnastičkom klubu Marjan, bilo je jako teško, ali treneri tamo rade stvarno odličan posao. Svaki dan sam trenirao po tri sata. Baš zato što treninzi traju toliko dugo su me roditelji odlučili upisati na gimnastiku, da usmjerim tu silnu energiju u nešto pozitivno - kaže nam Frano dok se u hladu zida jednog teniskog terena skrivamo od nemilog lipanjskog sunca, a tamo negdje u pozadini čujemo kako i Mili Poljičak fokusirano trenira.

- Kasnije je to postalo ozbiljnije, ali mislim da je to odličan sport za započeti neku karijeru. Prvi put sam bio državni prvak već s osam godina, i onda opet s deset - priča Frano nonšalantno, a u gimnastici nije birao discipline koje bi mu najbolje išle, odabrao ih je sve. Naime, bio je prvak u višeboju.

No, odmah nakon što je po drugi put postao prvak države, ostavio se gimnastike i nije više gledao nazad. Stric ga je jednog dana odveo da proba igrati tenis, jednostavno mu se svidjelo, pa je karike i ruče zamijenio reketom, a ide mu i više nego dobro.

Treninzi uglavnom traju tri sata, a nekada trenira i dvaput dnevno. Uz takav gust raspored, škola, pa treniranje po tri sata dnevno, putovanja na razne turnire, i dalje stigne za svoj gušt zaigrati nogomet s prijateljima.

Inače, osnovu školu je prošao besprijekorno, odlikaš svih osam godina. S takvim ocjenama ni ne čudi da je upisao Prirodoslovnu gimnaziju, a nema sumnje da bi nastavio biti odlikaš da mu se nisu ispriječila silna putovanja na teniske turnire.

- Prošao sam s vrlo dobrim, ali stvarno moram pohvaliti sve profesore jer su imali puno razumijevanja za mene ove godine. Zbog tenisa sam nakupio čak 500 sati izostanaka, ali profe su bili dobre prema meni i izašli mi u susret da uspijem sve obveze riješiti na vrijeme - zahvalan je Frano koji, ako se stvari poslože, kaže da na fakultet planira ‘preko Bare‘:

- Ako bih išao na faks, želim da to bude u Americi. Iskreno, još ne znam što bih htio studirati, ali želim da ima što bolji teniski program i planiram se upisati preko teniske stipendije.

Nije lako izbalansirati taj život učenika i vrsnog tenisača:

- Nosi knjige i udžbenike po turnirima, cijeli dan trenira i igra, a onda navečer, kada bi se trebao odmarati, on mora učiti - napominje nam njegov otac Marko.

Sportska krv mu teče u obitelji, ima i mlađu sestru koja se uspješno bavila gimnastikom u mlađim godinama pa se i ona se prebacila, ali na atletiku. Majka Ivana je također bila tenisačica, i lako se može vidjeti na koga je Frano, jer mu je majka bila prvakinja Jugoslavije u parovima više puta, a po uzoru na nju želi ići studirati u SAD.

No, da ne naglimo previše s fakultetom. Prvenstvo države je tu, a kakvi su planovi za ljeto?

- Neće biti puno odmora. Ovo ljeto ću pokušati odigrati što više ITF turnira, da se izvježbam i postanem što bolji i steknem još više samopouzdanja, i da dobijem što veći ranking - kaže Frano, ali otac Marko, ipak malo iskusnije, zna važnost dobrog odmora:

- Naravno, bit će i nekoliko dana odmora, neće baš sada svaki dan trenirati. Bit će tu i vremena da se ode i na more i sve. Jako je bitno napraviti kraće pauze da sad skroz u glavi ne izgori.

Odmah nakon našeg razgovora, Frano se vratio natrag na teniski teren, neumorno vježbati po ovoj pasjoj vručini, stotine i tisuće zamaha reketom koji će ga, nadamo se, odvesti u nove teniske visine. Još se na kraju zahvalio...:

- Trenerima Nikši Đuroviću, Martinu Škarici i Robertu Čondiću.
