Sam Querrey poznati je američki tenisač koji je ovoga tjedna trebao nastupiti na ATP turniru u ruskom St. Peterburgu, pišu Sportske novosti.

Međutim, neposredno prije meča protiv Kanađanina Denisa Shapovalova on je bio pozitivan na koronavirus, te je bio prisiljen odustati od nastupa.

Prema pravilniku, Querreyju je propisana desetodnevna samoizolacija, a karantenu je trebao provesti zajedno sa suprugom Abby i osmomjesečnim sinom Fordom u hotelu s pet zvijezdica u kojem je bio lociran.

I tu dolazi do neočekivanog zapleta. Naime, Amerikanac nije želio provesti deset dana zatvoren u hotelskoj sobi, pa se odlučio na kršenje pravila.

Tako je pobjegao privatnim avionom u europsku državu u koju nije potreban negativan test na koronu za ulazak, iako ime iste nije poznato. U međuvremenu je ATP pokrenuo istragu i Querreyja čeka novčana kazna u iznosu od 100.000 dolara, te moguća trogodišnja suspenzija.

Querry je trenutno 49. tenisač svijeta koji je u karijeri zaradio 12 milijuna dolara od turnirskih nagrada, a moguća trogodišnja suspenzija za njega bi značila ujedno i vjerojatni kraj karijere s obzirom da su mu 33 godine...

Sam Querrey poznati je američki tenisač koji je ovoga tjedna trebao nastupiti na ATP turniru u ruskom St. Peterburgu, pišu Sportske novosti.

Međutim, neposredno prije meča protiv Kanađanina Denisa Shapovalova on je bio pozitivan na koronavirus, te je bio prisiljen odustati od nastupa.

Prema pravilniku, Querreyju je propisana desetodnevna samoizolacija, a karantenu je trebao provesti zajedno sa suprugom Abby i osmomjesečnim sinom Fordom u hotelu s pet zvijezdica u kojem je bio lociran.

I tu dolazi do neočekivanog zapleta. Naime, Amerikanac nije želio provesti deset dana zatvoren u hotelskoj sobi, pa se odlučio na kršenje pravila.

Tako je pobjegao privatnim avionom u europsku državu u koju nije potreban negativan test na koronu za ulazak, iako ime iste nije poznato. U međuvremenu je ATP pokrenuo istragu i Querreyja čeka novčana kazna u iznosu od 100.000 dolara, te moguća trogodišnja suspenzija.

Querry je trenutno 49. tenisač svijeta koji je u karijeri zaradio 12 milijuna dolara od turnirskih nagrada, a moguća trogodišnja suspenzija za njega bi značila ujedno i vjerojatni kraj karijere s obzirom da su mu 33 godine...

Sam Querrey pobjegao iz Rusije iako je bio pozitivan na koronavirus, prijeti mu trogodišnja suspenzija

Sam Querrey poznati je američki tenisač koji je ovoga tjedna trebao nastupiti na ATP turniru u ruskom St. Peterburgu, pišu Sportske novosti.

Međutim, neposredno prije meča protiv Kanađanina Denisa Shapovalova on je bio pozitivan na koronavirus, te je bio prisiljen odustati od nastupa.

Prema pravilniku, Querreyju je propisana desetodnevna samoizolacija, a karantenu je trebao provesti zajedno sa suprugom Abby i osmomjesečnim sinom Fordom u hotelu s pet zvijezdica u kojem je bio lociran.

I tu dolazi do neočekivanog zapleta. Naime, Amerikanac nije želio provesti deset dana zatvoren u hotelskoj sobi, pa se odlučio na kršenje pravila.

Tako je pobjegao privatnim avionom u europsku državu u koju nije potreban negativan test na koronu za ulazak, iako ime iste nije poznato. U međuvr...
