Iako su mlade vaterpolistice Argentine izborile nastup na Svjetskom prvenstvu do 20 godina, još se ne zna hoće li se na njemu pojaviti jer - nemaju novca. Prvenstvo se održava početkom listopada ove godine u Izraelu, no Argentinska konfederacija vodenih sportova (CADDA) i ministarstvo sporta nisu zainteresirani pokriti im troškove.

Vaterpolo je u Argentini amaterski sport, a ni seniorska ekipa nije pretjerano uspješna pa kao takva nije posebno zanimljiva za praćenje s financijske strane, a kamoli U20 selekcija, no ovo je uistinu grozna poruka koja se šalje mladim sportašicama.

Ipak, Argentinke ne odustaju od odlaska u Izrael već su pokrenule internetsku kampanju za prikupljanje novca. Lola Canales, Ludmila Ianni i ekipa uputile su javni apel:

- Nije novost da nadležni nisu zainteresirani financijski i moralno podržati nas mlađe selekcije i, iznad svega, žene. S obzirom da su nas tek nedavno obavijestili o odluci, ostalo nam je jako malo vremena da preskočimo ove prepreke. Naše su obitelji već neko vrijeme prisiljene podmirivati troškove naših međunarodnih natjecanja, a u ovom slučaju potrebno nam je oko 3000 dolara po igračici (op.a. ima ih 13 plus stručni stožer) da bismo ostvarile naš san i nastupile na turniru. Ne predajemo se i tražimo solidarnost, pozivamo sve koji žele da nas kontaktiraju i doniraju novac.

Ukupno je riječ o minimalno 39 tisuća dolara potrebnih za avionske karte, smještaj u Izraelu i posebne kostime. Prvenstvo u Netanyi počinje 9. listopada, dakle nastavlja se njihova utrka s vremenom.

U istom su se problemu našli i njihovi kolege vaterpolisti iz argentinske reprezentacije U20. Buenos Aires je od 28. kolovoza do 5. rujna trebao biti domaćin Svjetskog prvenstva, ali je ono zbog epidemiološke situacije u tom gradu prebačeno u Prag. To je odjednom povećalo financijske izdatke koje savez nije bio voljan izdvojiti pa su se i mladi Argentinci rastrčali ne bi li sami prikupili potreban novac, također negdje oko 40 tisuća dolara.

U tome su prednjačili igrači Nicolas Fernandez i Mateo Freyre koji su uz pomoć partnerske tvornice prodavali tradicionalne keksiće alfajores u Santa Feu, organizirali su i egzibicijsku utakmicu protiv zvijezda argentinske lige... Jesu li skupili dovoljno novca, ne zna se, no možda će kod njih biti malo više sluha nadležnih institucija jer su ipak trebali biti domaćini SP-a. Navodno će CADDA i ministarstvo sporta

odnekud pronaći sredstva ili barem naknadno pokriti troškove koje bi za prvu ruku riješili igrači, njihove obitelji i donatori.

Iako su mlade vaterpolistice Argentine izborile nastup na Svjetskom prvenstvu do 20 godina, još se ne zna hoće li se na njemu pojaviti jer - nemaju novca. Prvenstvo se održava početkom listopada ove godine u Izraelu, no Argentinska konfederacija vodenih sportova (CADDA) i ministarstvo sporta nisu zainteresirani pokriti im troškove.

Vaterpolo je u Argentini amaterski sport, a ni seniorska ekipa nije pretjerano uspješna pa kao takva nije posebno zanimljiva za praćenje s financijske strane, a kamoli U20 selekcija, no ovo je uistinu grozna poruka koja se šalje mladim sportašicama.

Ipak, Argentinke ne odustaju od odlaska u Izrael već su pokrenule internetsku kampanju za prikupljanje novca. Lola Canales, Ludmila Ianni i ekipa uputile su javni apel:

- Nije novost da nadležni nisu zainteresirani financijski i moralno podržati nas mlađe selekcije i, iznad svega, žene. S obzirom da su nas tek nedavno obavijestili o odluci, ostalo nam je jako malo vremena da preskočimo ove prepreke. Naše su obitelji već neko vrijeme prisiljene podmirivati troškove naših međunarodnih natjecanja, a u ovom slučaju potrebno nam je oko 3000 dolara po igračici (op.a. ima ih 13 plus stručni stožer) da bismo ostvarile naš san i nastupile na turniru. Ne predajemo se i tražimo solidarnost, pozivamo sve koji žele da nas kontaktiraju i doniraju novac.

Ukupno je riječ o minimalno 39 tisuća dolara potrebnih za avionske karte, smještaj u Izraelu i posebne kostime. Prvenstvo u Netanyi počinje 9. listopada, dakle nastavlja se njihova utrka s vremenom.

U istom su se problemu našli i njihovi kolege vaterpolisti iz argentinske reprezentacije U20. Buenos Aires je od 28. kolovoza do 5. rujna trebao biti domaćin Svjetskog prvenstva, ali je ono zbog epidemiološke situacije u tom gradu prebačeno u Prag. To je odjednom povećalo financijske izdatke koje savez nije bio voljan izdvojiti pa su se i mladi Argentinci rastrčali ne bi li sami prikupili potreban novac, također negdje oko 40 tisuća dolara.

U tome su prednjačili igrači Nicolas Fernandez i Mateo Freyre koji su uz pomoć partnerske tvornice prodavali tradicionalne keksiće alfajores u Santa Feu, organizirali su i egzibicijsku utakmicu protiv zvijezda argentinske lige... Jesu li skupili dovoljno novca, ne zna se, no možda će kod njih biti malo više sluha nadležnih institucija jer su ipak trebali biti domaćini SP-a. Navodno će CADDA i ministarstvo sporta

odnekud pronaći sredstva ili barem naknadno pokriti troškove koje bi za prvu ruku riješili igrači, njihove obitelji i donatori.

Argentinke same skupljaju novac za odlazak na Svjetsko prvenstvo u Izrael: Naše su obitelji već neko vrijeme prisiljene podmirivati troškove

Iako su mlade vaterpolistice Argentine izborile nastup na Svjetskom prvenstvu do 20 godina, još se ne zna hoće li se na njemu pojaviti jer - nemaju novca. Prvenstvo se održava početkom listopada ove godine u Izraelu, no Argentinska konfederacija vodenih sportova (CADDA) i ministarstvo sporta nisu zainteresirani pokriti im troškove.

Vaterpolo je u Argentini amaterski sport, a ni seniorska ekipa nije pretjerano uspješna pa kao takva nije posebno zanimljiva za praćenje s financijske strane, a kamoli U20 selekcija, no ovo je uistinu grozna poruka koja se šalje mladim sportašicama.

Ipak, Argentinke ne odustaju od odlaska u Izrael već su pokrenule internetsku kampanju za prikupljanje novca. Lola Canales, Ludmila Ianni i ekipa uputile su javni apel:
