U nedjelju je u Šibeniku održana Skupština Hrvatskog vaterpolskog saveza (HVS) na kojoj je predsjednik Mladen Drnasin dobio novi četverogodišnji mandat. 

Drnasin je ponosno iznio činjenicu kako je usprkos pandemiji koronavirusa savez uspio dovršiti sva natjecanja koja su bila predviđena u ovoj godini.

"U nizu pozitivnih organizacijskih odluka koje smo proveli od pojavljivanja pandemije, najveće nam je zadovoljstvo pružila činjenica što smo uspjeli osigurati značajnu financijsku pomoć našim klubovima i hrvatskog vaterpolu kako bi se očuvala stabilnost klubova. Zahvaljujem Vladi RH zajedno s pripadajućim ministarstvima u razumijevanju problematike u sportu, kao i njihovim brzim odlukama ključnim za opstanak sporta", rekao je Drnasin.

Dopredsjednik i izvršni direktor HVS-a Perica Bukić osvrnuo se na proteklu godinu kao i godinu koja slijedi, a u kojoj se očekuju neka od velikih međunarodnih nadmetanja u svim starosnim skupinama.

"Klubovima početkom listopada započinje nova sezona za koju se iskreno nadamo da će se uspješno održati. Mi ćemo se dalje truditi da se i u jesenskom periodu iznađu sredstva za klubove te sam uvjeren da ćemo ostvariti sve aktivnosti koje su u planu, a koje ove godine postaje važnije nego ikada kako bi sve selekcije i cjelokupan sport nastavio normalno funkcionirati. U veljači seniorsku reprezentaciju očekuju kvalifikacije za OI u Rotterdamu kao i četvrtfinale Svjetska lige protiv Crne Gore. Ono na što smo posebno ponosni jest dobivanje domaćinstva za žensku U17 reprezentaciju koja će u Šibeniku odigrati Europsko prvenstvo", naglasio je Bukić.

Izbornik muške seniorske reprezentacije Ivica Tucak osvrnuo se na rad i rezultate seniorske reprezentacije u prošloj godini.

"Najvažnije natjecanje koje smo imali u prošloj godini bilo je Europsko prvenstvo u Budimpešti koje nas je potencijalno vodilo na Olimpijske igre, ali taj cilj nismo uspjeli ostvariti. Odmah po završetku EP-a napravili smo detaljnu analizu našeg nastupa te vjerujem da smo došli do odgovora zašto smo završili bez medalje. Zaključili smo da nas je novi kriterij suđenja poremetio u igri bek-centar, stoga ćemo ususret novom sustavu suđenja morati prilagoditi i svoju igru. Uvjeren sam da hrvatska vaterpolska reprezentacija svojom igrom zaslužuje biti dio Olimpijskih igara stoga je Rotterdam ključna stavka koja nas sljedeće godine vodi u Tokio", rekao je Tucak.

Izabran je i novi Upravni odbor HVS-a, a jedina izmjena u odnosu na prošli je ulazak Ane Stojnić Deban, predsjednice Mladosti, koja je zamijenila Boška Lozicu. Stojnić Deban je tako postala prva žena u povijesti koja je izabrana u UO HVS-a.

U nedjelju je u Šibeniku održana Skupština Hrvatskog vaterpolskog saveza (HVS) na kojoj je predsjednik Mladen Drnasin dobio novi četverogodišnji mandat. 

Drnasin je ponosno iznio činjenicu kako je usprkos pandemiji koronavirusa savez uspio dovršiti sva natjecanja koja su bila predviđena u ovoj godini.

"U nizu pozitivnih organizacijskih odluka koje smo proveli od pojavljivanja pandemije, najveće nam je zadovoljstvo pružila činjenica što smo uspjeli osigurati značajnu financijsku pomoć našim klubovima i hrvatskog vaterpolu kako bi se očuvala stabilnost klubova. Zahvaljujem Vladi RH zajedno s pripadajućim ministarstvima u razumijevanju problematike u sportu, kao i njihovim brzim odlukama ključnim za opstanak sporta", rekao je Drnasin.

Dopredsjednik i izvršni direktor HVS-a Perica Bukić osvrnuo se na proteklu godinu kao i godinu koja slijedi, a u kojoj se očekuju neka od velikih međunarodnih nadmetanja u svim starosnim skupinama.

"Klubovima početkom listopada započinje nova sezona za koju se iskreno nadamo da će se uspješno održati. Mi ćemo se dalje truditi da se i u jesenskom periodu iznađu sredstva za klubove te sam uvjeren da ćemo ostvariti sve aktivnosti koje su u planu, a koje ove godine postaje važnije nego ikada kako bi sve selekcije i cjelokupan sport nastavio normalno funkcionirati. U veljači seniorsku reprezentaciju očekuju kvalifikacije za OI u Rotterdamu kao i četvrtfinale Svjetska lige protiv Crne Gore. Ono na što smo posebno ponosni jest dobivanje domaćinstva za žensku U17 reprezentaciju koja će u Šibeniku odigrati Europsko prvenstvo", naglasio je Bukić.

Izbornik muške seniorske reprezentacije Ivica Tucak osvrnuo se na rad i rezultate seniorske reprezentacije u prošloj godini.

"Najvažnije natjecanje koje smo imali u prošloj godini bilo je Europsko prvenstvo u Budimpešti koje nas je potencijalno vodilo na Olimpijske igre, ali taj cilj nismo uspjeli ostvariti. Odmah po završetku EP-a napravili smo detaljnu analizu našeg nastupa te vjerujem da smo došli do odgovora zašto smo završili bez medalje. Zaključili smo da nas je novi kriterij suđenja poremetio u igri bek-centar, stoga ćemo ususret novom sustavu suđenja morati prilagoditi i svoju igru. Uvjeren sam da hrvatska vaterpolska reprezentacija svojom igrom zaslužuje biti dio Olimpijskih igara stoga je Rotterdam ključna stavka koja nas sljedeće godine vodi u Tokio", rekao je Tucak.

Izabran je i novi Upravni odbor HVS-a, a jedina izmjena u odnosu na prošli je ulazak Ane Stojnić Deban, predsjednice Mladosti, koja je zamijenila Boška Lozicu. Stojnić Deban je tako postala prva žena u povijesti koja je izabrana u UO HVS-a.

Mladen Drnasin još četiri godine na čelu Hrvatskog vaterpolskog saveza

U nedjelju je u Šibeniku održana Skupština Hrvatskog vaterpolskog saveza (HVS) na kojoj je predsjednik Mladen Drnasin dobio novi četverogodišnji mandat. 

Drnasin je ponosno iznio činjenicu kako je usprkos pandemiji koronavirusa savez uspio dovršiti sva natjecanja koja su bila predviđena u ovoj godini.

"U nizu pozitivnih organizacijskih odluka koje smo proveli od pojavljivanja pandemije, najveće nam je zadovoljstvo pružila činjenica što smo uspjeli osigurati značajnu financijsku pomoć našim klubovima i hrvatskog vaterpolu kako bi se očuvala stabilnost klubova. Zahvaljujem Vladi RH zajedno s pripadajućim ministarstvima u razumijevanju problematike u sportu, kao i njihovim brzim odlukama ključnim za opstanak sporta", rekao je Drnasin.
