Sudeći prema Bloombergovoj listi milijardera Elon Musk je prestigao u svom bogatstvu Microsoftovog Bill Gatesa koji je nekoć držao prvo mjesto na kojem se sada s uvjerljivom razlikom nalazi Jeff Bezos, piše The Verge.

Neto vrijednost izvršnog direktora Tesle sada iznosi oko 128 milijardi dolara, nakon što je ove godine porasla za 100 milijardi dolara. Kriza ipak nije utjecala samo na rast njegovog bogatstva već se od korone okoristio i izvršni direktor Amazona čija neto vrijednost iznosi 182 milijarde dolara što i dalje ostavlja veliki jaz među dvojicom. Muskovo bogatstvo pak rapidno raste jer je u siječnju, dakle prije manje od godinu dana bio na 35. mjestu popisa.

Nijednom ljudskom mozgu nije moguće razumjeti tako velike brojeve, naprosto nismo tako programirani. Kako bi mogli donekle shvatiti koliko je njihovo bogatstvo u odnosu na prosječno američko kućanstvo, početkom ove godine predstavljena je nevjerojatna vizualizacija podataka u kojoj svaki piksel predstavlja 1000 dolara što je ljude razbjesnilo. Druga usporedba je kroz vrijeme. Dok 1 milijun sekundi iznosi 11 dana, 1 milijarda sekundi iznosi 32 godine.

Muskov nagli uspon na popisu uglavnom je potaknut porastom cijena Teslinih dionica koje čine tri četvrtine njegove ukupne neto vrijednosti. Automobilska kompanija trenutačno ima tržišnu kapitalizaciju od gotovo 500 milijardi dolara, nakon što je godinu započela s manje od 100 milijardi dolara. Trenutno zapravo ima veću tržišnu kapitalizaciju od bilo koje automobilske tvrtke na svijetu, unatoč tome što je proizvela dio automobila etabliranijih proizvođača. Ove godine očekuje se proizvodnja 500.000 automobila, u usporedbi s oko 10 milijuna koje stvori firma poput Toyote.

Muskov drugi veliki pothvat, SpaceX, također je nedavno doživio uspjeh. Prošli je tjedan tvrtka prevezla četiri astronauta na Međunarodnu svemirsku stanicu na svojoj letjelici Crew Dragon što je uslijedilo nakon što je u svibnju ove godine prvi put imala uspješan svemirski  let s posadom.

Bill Gates godinama je sjedio na tronu 'Billionaires Indexa' dok ga 2017. nije pretekao Jeff Bezos. Na to je velikim dijelom neminovno utjecao i njegov široki dobrotvorni rad. Definitivno bi danas imao puno veće bogatstvo da toliko novaca nije dao u humanitarne svrhe, uključujući i preko 27 milijardi dolara doniranih putem Zaklade Bill & Melinda Gates od 2006. godine.

Gates i Musk imali su nekoliko nesuglasica ove godine. U rujnu je Musk rekao da Gates nema pojma o održivosti električnih kamiona, nakon što je suosnivač Microsofta rekao da električni kamioni, zajedno s električnim teretnim brodovima i putničkim avionima, vjerojatno nikad neće biti iskoristivi u praksi. Ranije ove godine Gates je za CNBC rekao da bi Musk trebao izbjegavati davati velike prognoze o područjima koja mu nisu poznata, nakon što je izvršni direktor Tesle uz veliku dozu skepse i umanjivanja opasnosti govorio o pandemiji Covida-19.

Musk je pretekao izvršnog direktora Facebooka Marka Zuckerberga prošlog tjedna kada je postao treća najbogatija osoba na Indeksu milijardera. Zuckerberg je u međuvremenu pao na peto mjesto na ljestvici nakon što ga je pretekao francuski poduzetnik Bernard Arnault.

Naravno svi ljudi koji imaju ovoliko bogatstvo ne moraju mariti za to koliko je točno jer im to ni na koji način ne utječe na život već isključivo na vlastitu taštinu i ego.

Sudeći prema Bloombergovoj listi milijardera Elon Musk je prestigao u svom bogatstvu Microsoftovog Bill Gatesa koji je nekoć držao prvo mjesto na kojem se sada s uvjerljivom razlikom nalazi Jeff Bezos, piše The Verge.

Neto vrijednost izvršnog direktora Tesle sada iznosi oko 128 milijardi dolara, nakon što je ove godine porasla za 100 milijardi dolara. Kriza ipak nije utjecala samo na rast njegovog bogatstva već se od korone okoristio i izvršni direktor Amazona čija neto vrijednost iznosi 182 milijarde dolara što i dalje ostavlja veliki jaz među dvojicom. Muskovo bogatstvo pak rapidno raste jer je u siječnju, dakle prije manje od godinu dana bio na 35. mjestu popisa.

Nijednom ljudskom mozgu nije moguće razumjeti tako velike brojeve, naprosto nismo tako programirani. Kako bi mogli donekle shvatiti koliko je njihovo bogatstvo u odnosu na prosječno američko kućanstvo, početkom ove godine predstavljena je nevjerojatna vizualizacija podataka u kojoj svaki piksel predstavlja 1000 dolara što je ljude razbjesnilo. Druga usporedba je kroz vrijeme. Dok 1 milijun sekundi iznosi 11 dana, 1 milijarda sekundi iznosi 32 godine.

Muskov nagli uspon na popisu uglavnom je potaknut porastom cijena Teslinih dionica koje čine tri četvrtine njegove ukupne neto vrijednosti. Automobilska kompanija trenutačno ima tržišnu kapitalizaciju od gotovo 500 milijardi dolara, nakon što je godinu započela s manje od 100 milijardi dolara. Trenutno zapravo ima veću tržišnu kapitalizaciju od bilo koje automobilske tvrtke na svijetu, unatoč tome što je proizvela dio automobila etabliranijih proizvođača. Ove godine očekuje se proizvodnja 500.000 automobila, u usporedbi s oko 10 milijuna koje stvori firma poput Toyote.

Muskov drugi veliki pothvat, SpaceX, također je nedavno doživio uspjeh. Prošli je tjedan tvrtka prevezla četiri astronauta na Međunarodnu svemirsku stanicu na svojoj letjelici Crew Dragon što je uslijedilo nakon što je u svibnju ove godine prvi put imala uspješan svemirski  let s posadom.

Bill Gates godinama je sjedio na tronu 'Billionaires Indexa' dok ga 2017. nije pretekao Jeff Bezos. Na to je velikim dijelom neminovno utjecao i njegov široki dobrotvorni rad. Definitivno bi danas imao puno veće bogatstvo da toliko novaca nije dao u humanitarne svrhe, uključujući i preko 27 milijardi dolara doniranih putem Zaklade Bill & Melinda Gates od 2006. godine.

Gates i Musk imali su nekoliko nesuglasica ove godine. U rujnu je Musk rekao da Gates nema pojma o održivosti električnih kamiona, nakon što je suosnivač Microsofta rekao da električni kamioni, zajedno s električnim teretnim brodovima i putničkim avionima, vjerojatno nikad neće biti iskoristivi u praksi. Ranije ove godine Gates je za CNBC rekao da bi Musk trebao izbjegavati davati velike prognoze o područjima koja mu nisu poznata, nakon što je izvršni direktor Tesle uz veliku dozu skepse i umanjivanja opasnosti govorio o pandemiji Covida-19.

Musk je pretekao izvršnog direktora Facebooka Marka Zuckerberga prošlog tjedna kada je postao treća najbogatija osoba na Indeksu milijardera. Zuckerberg je u međuvremenu pao na peto mjesto na ljestvici nakon što ga je pretekao francuski poduzetnik Bernard Arnault.

Naravno svi ljudi koji imaju ovoliko bogatstvo ne moraju mariti za to koliko je točno jer im to ni na koji način ne utječe na život već isključivo na vlastitu taštinu i ego.

Sudeći prema Bloombergovoj listi milijardera Elon Musk je prestigao u svom bogatstvu Microsoftovog Bill Gatesa koji je nekoć držao prvo mjesto na kojem se sada s uvjerljivom razlikom nalazi Jeff Bezos, piše The Verge.

Neto vrijednost izvršnog direktora Tesle sada iznosi oko 128 milijardi dolara, nakon što je ove godine porasla za 100 milijardi dolara. Kriza ipak nije utjecala samo na rast njegovog bogatstva već se od korone okoristio i izvršni direktor Amazona čija neto vrijednost iznosi 182 milijarde dolara što i dalje ostavlja veliki jaz među dvojicom. Muskovo bogatstvo pak rapidno raste jer je u siječnju, dakle prije manje od godinu dana bio na 35. mjestu popisa.
