Gotovo 40 posto internetskih trgovina koristi manipulativne tehnike kako bi naveli potrošače na odluke koje nisu u njihovu najboljem interesu, pokazuje istraživanje koja je provela Komisija i nacionalna tijela za zaštitu potrošača iz 23 države članice te Norveške i Islanda.

“Naše je istraživanje pokazalo da se gotovo 40 posto internetskih trgovina oslanja na razne manipulacije kako bi prevarilo potrošače ili iskoristilo njihove slabe točke. Taj je pristup očito protivan zaštiti potrošača i nekorektan”, izjavio je povjerenik za pravosuđe Didier Reynders.

Reynders dodaje da države članice imaju pouzdane alate kojima se takvi problemi mogu rješavati te ih poziva da nacionalna tijela iskoriste svoje ovlasti i poduzmu radnje protiv takve prakse.

Istraživanje je obuhvatilo 399 internetskih trgovina u kojima se nude raznoliki proizvodi, od tekstila do elektronike. Posebna je pozornost posvećena takozvanim „obmanjujućim obrascima”.

Riječ je o tri vrste manipulativnih tehnika kojima se potrošače navodi na donošenje odluka koje možda nisu u njihovu najboljem interesu. To su: lažna odbrojavanja, koja impliciraju da postoji rok za kupovinu nekih proizvoda. Ta je praksa zabilježena kod 42 internetske trgovine.

Druga manipulativna tehnika, utvrđena u 54 internetske trgovine, sastoji se u usmjeravanju potrošače prema nekim odlukama – od pretplata do skupljih proizvoda ili skuplje dostave – pri čemu se služe tehnikama kao što su vizualni dizajn i odabir fraza.

I treća manipulativna tehnika, zabilježena u 70 internetskih trgovina, jest potpuno ili djelomično skrivanje važnih informacija poput troškova dostave, sastava proizvoda i postojanja jeftinijih odabira. U 23 trgovine informacije su skrivene kako bi se navelo potrošače da pristanu na pretplatu.

Istraživanje je obuhvatilo i 102 aplikacije pregledanih internetskih trgovina. U 27 aplikacija pronađen je barem jedan obmanjujući obrazac.

Komisija navodi da će nacionalna tijela država članica kontaktirati trgovce kod kojih su otkrivene manipulativne prakse i zatražiti od njih da uklone probleme na svojim internetskim stranicama. Prema potrebi poduzet će dodatne mjere u skladu s nacionalnim postupcima.

Gotovo 40 posto internetskih trgovina koristi manipulativne tehnike kako bi naveli potrošače na odluke koje nisu u njihovu najboljem interesu, pokazuje istraživanje koja je provela Komisija i nacionalna tijela za zaštitu potrošača iz 23 države članice te Norveške i Islanda.

“Naše je istraživanje pokazalo da se gotovo 40 posto internetskih trgovina oslanja na razne manipulacije kako bi prevarilo potrošače ili iskoristilo njihove slabe točke. Taj je pristup očito protivan zaštiti potrošača i nekorektan”, izjavio je povjerenik za pravosuđe Didier Reynders.

Reynders dodaje da države članice imaju pouzdane alate kojima se takvi problemi mogu rješavati te ih poziva da nacionalna tijela iskoriste svoje ovlasti i poduzmu radnje protiv takve prakse.

Istraživanje je obuhvatilo 399 internetskih trgovina u kojima se nude raznoliki proizvodi, od tekstila do elektronike. Posebna je pozornost posvećena takozvanim „obmanjujućim obrascima”.

Riječ je o tri vrste manipulativnih tehnika kojima se potrošače navodi na donošenje odluka koje možda nisu u njihovu najboljem interesu. To su: lažna odbrojavanja, koja impliciraju da postoji rok za kupovinu nekih proizvoda. Ta je praksa zabilježena kod 42 internetske trgovine.

Druga manipulativna tehnika, utvrđena u 54 internetske trgovine, sastoji se u usmjeravanju potrošače prema nekim odlukama – od pretplata do skupljih proizvoda ili skuplje dostave – pri čemu se služe tehnikama kao što su vizualni dizajn i odabir fraza.

I treća manipulativna tehnika, zabilježena u 70 internetskih trgovina, jest potpuno ili djelomično skrivanje važnih informacija poput troškova dostave, sastava proizvoda i postojanja jeftinijih odabira. U 23 trgovine informacije su skrivene kako bi se navelo potrošače da pristanu na pretplatu.

Istraživanje je obuhvatilo i 102 aplikacije pregledanih internetskih trgovina. U 27 aplikacija pronađen je barem jedan obmanjujući obrazac.

Komisija navodi da će nacionalna tijela država članica kontaktirati trgovce kod kojih su otkrivene manipulativne prakse i zatražiti od njih da uklone probleme na svojim internetskim stranicama. Prema potrebi poduzet će dodatne mjere u skladu s nacionalnim postupcima.

Gotovo 40 posto internetskih trgovina koristi manipulativne tehnike kako bi naveli potrošače na odluke koje nisu u njihovu najboljem interesu, pokazuje istraživanje koja je provela Komisija i nacionalna tijela za zaštitu potrošača iz 23 države članice te Norveške i Islanda.

“Naše je istraživanje pokazalo da se gotovo 40 posto internetskih trgovina oslanja na razne manipulacije kako bi prevarilo potrošače ili iskoristilo njihove slabe točke. Taj je pristup očito protivan zaštiti potrošača i nekorektan”, izjavio je povjerenik za pravosuđe Didier Reynders.

Reynders dodaje da države članice imaju pouzdane alate kojima se takvi problemi mogu rješavati te ih poziva da nacionalna tijela iskoriste svoje ovlasti i poduzmu radnje protiv takve prakse.
