Ukrajina iza kulisa nagovara zapadne saveznike da ruski plin u Europu stiže njezinim plinovodima, a ne ruskim Sjevernim tokom 1 kako bi osigurala veći utjecaj u sukobu s Rusijom, rekli su za Reuters dužnosnici za energetiku.

To bi, kako su rekli, prisililo Rusiju da transportira više plina u Europu plinovodima kroz Ukrajinu.

Berlin je zbog ruske invazije na Ukrajinu već zaustavio Sjeverni tok 2, koji je trebao udvostručiti isporuke ruskog plina u Njemačku. Projekt vrijedan 11 milijardi dolara završen je krajem prošle godine, ali nije započeo s radom.

Preusmjeravanje isporuka iz plinovoda Sjeverni tok 1 teško će "proći" u Njemačkoj i ostatku Europe, smatraju analitičari.

Takav potez "neće nimalo poboljšati sigurnost europske opskrbe", rekao je bivši posebni izaslanik američkog ministarstva vanjskih poslova David Goldwyn.

Christian Egenhofer iz Centra za europske političke studije sa sjedištem u Bruxellesu upozorio je pak da bi EU time prekršio ugovore o opskrbi koje je sklopio s Rusijom.

Rusija trenutno Njemačkoj Sjevernim tokom 1 isporučuje 55 milijardi prostornih metara prirodnog plina godišnje. Europi dostavlja još 40 milijardi prostornih metara preko Ukrajine i plaća Kijevu tranzitne naknade u dolarima.

Savjetnik ukrajinskog Naftogaza Daniel Vajdič rekao je da bi prebacivanje ruskih isporuka plina iz Sjevernog toka 1 kroz ukrajinski sustav "Kijevu osiguralo veći utjecaj na Moskvu i pokazalo bi Kremlju da Europa veže svoju sigurnost sa sigurnošću Ukrajine".

Ukrajinski dužnosnici predložili su da se 40 posto plina iz Sjevernog toka 1 odmah preusmjeri kroz ukrajinski plinovod, a ostatak do travnja iduće godine. To bi državama EU-a dalo vremena za stvaranje zaliha za zimu i za diversifikaciju nabave, dodali su.

Napomenuli su da i su tražili američku potporu za pristup opskrbi preko terminala za ukapljeni plin u Turskoj.

Ukrajina mora uskoro osigurati i plin za svoje potrebe, prije početka zimske sezone grijanja u listopadu, rekla je savjetnica predsjednika uprave Naftogaza Svitlana Zališčuk.

Rusiji smo važni radi trasporta plina u Europu, rekli su, "to moramo iskoristiti u našim raspravama s njima, a Europa može pomoći", rekla je Olga Bielkova, direktorica međunarodnih poslova operatera ukrajinskog sustava za tranzit plina u intervjuu u Washingtonu .

Dužnosnik Bijele kuće i njemačko ministarstvo gospodarstva odbili su komentirati te informacije. Njemačka je u srijedu rekla da će do kraja godine prestati uvoziti rusku naftu, "a onda je na redu plin", ali nije precizirala kada.

Berlin je zbog ruske invazije na Ukrajinu već zaustavio Sjeverni tok 2, koji je trebao udvostručiti isporuke ruskog plina u Njemačku. Projekt vrijedan 11 milijardi dolara završen je krajem prošle godine, ali nije započeo s radom.

Preusmjeravanje isporuka iz plinovoda Sjeverni tok 1 teško će "proći" u Njemačkoj i ostatku Europe, smatraju analitičari.

Takav potez "neće nimalo poboljšati sigurnost europske opskrbe", rekao je bivši posebni izaslanik američkog ministarstva vanjskih poslova David Goldwyn.

Christian Egenhofer iz Centra za europske političke studije sa sjedištem u Bruxellesu upozorio je pak da bi EU time prekršio ugovore o opskrbi koje je sklopio s Rusijom.

Rusija trenutno Njemačkoj Sjevernim tokom 1 isporučuje 55 milijardi prostornih metara prirodnog plina godišnje. Europi dostavlja još 40 milijardi prostornih metara preko Ukrajine i plaća Kijevu tranzitne naknade u dolarima.

Savjetnik ukrajinskog Naftogaza Daniel Vajdič rekao je da bi prebacivanje ruskih isporuka plina iz Sjevernog toka 1 kroz ukrajinski sustav "Kijevu osiguralo veći utjecaj na Moskvu i pokazalo bi Kremlju da Europa veže svoju sigurnost sa sigurnošću Ukrajine".

Ukrajinski dužnosnici predložili su da se 40 posto plina iz Sjevernog toka 1 odmah preusmjeri kroz ukrajinski plinovod, a ostatak do travnja iduće godine. To bi državama EU-a dalo vremena za stvaranje zaliha za zimu i za diversifikaciju nabave, dodali su.

Napomenuli su da i su tražili američku potporu za pristup opskrbi preko terminala za ukapljeni plin u Turskoj.

Ukrajina mora uskoro osigurati i plin za svoje potrebe, prije početka zimske sezone grijanja u listopadu, rekla je savjetnica predsjednika uprave Naftogaza Svitlana Zališčuk.

Ukrajina iza kulisa nagovara zapadne saveznike da ruski plin u Europu stiže njezinim plinovodima, a ne ruskim Sjevernim tokom 1 kako bi osigurala veći utjecaj u sukobu s Rusijom, rekli su za Reuters dužnosnici za energetiku.
