Preliminarni podaci HZJZ-a ukazuju da je zabilježen pad broja novih dijagnoza raka u 2020. godini od oko 10 posto u odnosu na prethodnu godinu i to u svim županijama osim Istarske te u starijim dobnim skupinama, rekao je Mario Šekerija, voditelj Registra za rak pri HZJZ-u.
Istodobno, podaci o smrtnosti od raka pokazuju da se pozitivan trend pada mortaliteta, započet 2015. godine, nastavlja i dalje, kaže Šekerija.
Najizraženiji pad broja novodijagnosticiranih u 2020. vidljiv je kod raka štitnjače, bubrega, prostate i melanoma kože, dok pad dijagnoza nije zabilježen kod raka testisa, vrata maternice i mozga.
Najveći pad zabilježen je tijekom proljeća, s vrhuncem u travnju 2020. godine, a potom i tijekom jeseni, s vrhuncem u studenom.
U Hrvatskoj se još čeka na početak implementacije Nacionalnoga strateškog okvira protiv raka, a uskoro će biti dvije godine od njegova donošenja u Hrvatskom saboru. On predviđa niz mjera za unapređenje prevencije i skrbi za oboljele od raka, zahvaljujući kojima bi se moglo spasiti 5000 života godišnje.
Iz Ministarstvo zdravstva poručuju da je u proceduri Akcijski plan za iduće trogodišnje razdoblje, kao prvi korak u implementaciji strateškog okvira za rak. Plan obuhvaća nabavku radiološke opreme, uspostavu onkološke mreže i baze onkoloških podataka, prevenciju, rano otkrivanje, adekvatno liječenje i rehabilitaciju bolesnika te nacionalne preventivne programe.
Nezadovoljne jer se nije ništa učinilo na provedbi strateškog okvira, udruge pacijenata pokrenule su početkom godine kampanju "Vrijeme je", s namjerom da potaknu odgovorne, a prije svega Ministarstvo zdravstva, da poduzme potrebne korake.
O tome se govorilo proteklih dana i na 14. kongresu Hrvatskog društva za internističku onkologiju, gdje su stručnjaci i predstavnici bolesnika analizirali dosadašnje mjere i uključenost u najavljenu reformu zdravstva. Internistička onkologija danas u Hrvatskoj broji stotinu specijalista i 37 specijalizanata.
Predsjednik društva Stjepko Pleština ističe kako prvi korak nakon donošenja Akcijskog plana treba biti uspostava onkološke mreže. To znači da treba definiranu mrežu onkoloških ustanova i uspostaviti multidisciplinarni rad i suradnju, kako bi se povećala kvaliteta liječenja i omogućila jednaka šansa bolesnicima, bez obzira gdje u Hrvatskoj žive.
"Svatko od nas u svojoj ustanovi nastoji implementirati dio koji može. Onkologija napreduje, petogodišnje preživljenje bolesnika danas je veće nego ikada u povijesti, više od 50 posto oboljelih živi, iako i dalje gubimo ljude koji smo mogli spasiti", kaže.
Onkološki pacijenti moraju imati pravo da odluku o liječenju donosi multidisciplinarni tim individualiziranim pristupom svakom bolesniku, kako bi svi bolesnici bili tretirani po jednakom protokolu. Zato je najvažnije uspostaviti mrežu onkoloških ustanova, jasno definirati kamo će pojedini bolesnik ići i što će i u kojem roku tamo dobiti, naglašava Pleština.
No, ishod liječenja ne ovisi samo o onkološkoj skrbi, odnosno terapiji koju bolesnik dobiva, već i o liječniku obiteljske medicine, je li rak na vrijeme otkriven, o kvaliteti i dostupnosti dijagnostike te kvaliteti kirurškog liječenja. To također treba uključiti u praćenje ishoda liječenja, koje predviđa Nacionalni strateški okvir.
Tajnica udruge "Sve za nju“ i članica Povjerenstva za prevenciju, dijagnostiku i liječenje na području onkologije u postcovid periodu Ljiljana Vukota ističe da pacijenti trebaju biti uključeni u sve teme koje ih se tiču.
Praćenje ishoda liječenja uz implementaciju mjerenja ishoda koje prijavljuju pacijenti jedini je način za poboljšanje zdravstvenog sustava i spašavanje života. Pacijenti i njihove obitelji više ne mogu čekati, kaže Vukota.

Preliminarni podaci HZJZ-a ukazuju da je zabilježen pad broja novih dijagnoza raka u 2020. godini od oko 10 posto u odnosu na prethodnu godinu i to u svim županijama osim Istarske te u starijim dobnim skupinama, rekao je Mario Šekerija, voditelj Registra za rak pri HZJZ-u.
Istodobno, podaci o smrtnosti od raka pokazuju da se pozitivan trend pada mortaliteta, započet 2015. godine, nastavlja i dalje, kaže Šekerija.
Najizraženiji pad broja novodijagnosticiranih u 2020. vidljiv je kod raka štitnjače, bubrega, prostate i melanoma kože, dok pad dijagnoza nije zabilježen kod raka testisa, vrata maternice i mozga.
Najveći pad zabilježen je tijekom proljeća, s vrhuncem u travnju 2020. godine, a potom i tijekom jeseni, s vrhuncem u studenom.
U Hrvatskoj se još čeka na početak implementacije Nacionalnoga strateškog okvira protiv raka, a uskoro će biti dvije godine od njegova donošenja u Hrvatskom saboru. On predviđa niz mjera za unapređenje prevencije i skrbi za oboljele od raka, zahvaljujući kojima bi se moglo spasiti 5000 života godišnje.
Iz Ministarstvo zdravstva poručuju da je u proceduri Akcijski plan za iduće trogodišnje razdoblje, kao prvi korak u implementaciji strateškog okvira za rak. Plan obuhvaća nabavku radiološke opreme, uspostavu onkološke mreže i baze onkoloških podataka, prevenciju, rano otkrivanje, adekvatno liječenje i rehabilitaciju bolesnika te nacionalne preventivne programe.
Nezadovoljne jer se nije ništa učinilo na provedbi strateškog okvira, udruge pacijenata pokrenule su početkom godine kampanju "Vrijeme je", s namjerom da potaknu odgovorne, a prije svega Ministarstvo zdravstva, da poduzme potrebne korake.
O tome se govorilo proteklih dana i na 14. kongresu Hrvatskog društva za internističku onkologiju, gdje su stručnjaci i predstavnici bolesnika analizirali dosadašnje mjere i uključenost u najavljenu reformu zdravstva. Internistička onkologija danas u Hrvatskoj broji stotinu specijalista i 37 specijalizanata.
Predsjednik društva Stjepko Pleština ističe kako prvi korak nakon donošenja Akcijskog plana treba biti uspostava onkološke mreže. To znači da treba definiranu mrežu onkoloških ustanova i uspostaviti multidisciplinarni rad i suradnju, kako bi se povećala kvaliteta liječenja i omogućila jednaka šansa bolesnicima, bez obzira gdje u Hrvatskoj žive.
"Svatko od nas u svojoj ustanovi nastoji implementirati dio koji može. Onkologija napreduje, petogodišnje preživljenje bolesnika danas je veće nego ikada u povijesti, više od 50 posto oboljelih živi, iako i dalje gubimo ljude koji smo mogli spasiti", kaže.
Onkološki pacijenti moraju imati pravo da odluku o liječenju donosi multidisciplinarni tim individualiziranim pristupom svakom bolesniku, kako bi svi bolesnici bili tretirani po jednakom protokolu. Zato je najvažnije uspostaviti mrežu onkoloških ustanova, jasno definirati kamo će pojedini bolesnik ići i što će i u kojem roku tamo dobiti, naglašava Pleština.
No, ishod liječenja ne ovisi samo o onkološkoj skrbi, odnosno terapiji koju bolesnik dobiva, već i o liječniku obiteljske medicine, je li rak na vrijeme otkriven, o kvaliteti i dostupnosti dijagnostike te kvaliteti kirurškog liječenja. To također treba uključiti u praćenje ishoda liječenja, koje predviđa Nacionalni strateški okvir.
Tajnica udruge "Sve za nju“ i članica Povjerenstva za prevenciju, dijagnostiku i liječenje na području onkologije u postcovid periodu Ljiljana Vukota ističe da pacijenti trebaju biti uključeni u sve teme koje ih se tiču.
Praćenje ishoda liječenja uz implementaciju mjerenja ishoda koje prijavljuju pacijenti jedini je način za poboljšanje zdravstvenog sustava i spašavanje života. Pacijenti i njihove obitelji više ne mogu čekati, kaže Vukota.
