- Helikopteri su sami po sebi vrlo osjetljive letjelice, a pogotovo kada se radi o jednomotornim helikopterima. Oni su posebno osjetljivi, upravo zbog te činjenice kako imaju samo jedan motor. Tako, recimo, HRZ u svojoj eskadrili ima helikoptere MI-8 koji su dvomotorni helikopteri, ali su puno teži od jednomotornih.

No, kada njima otkaže jedan motor, oni na drugom mogu doletjeti tamo gdje su krenuli. Kod jednomotornih helikoptera, koji su puno lakši, to nije slučaj. Kada im otkaže taj jedan motor, izvjesno je što će se dogoditi. Kod takvih jednomotornih helikoptera veći je rizik letenja - za "Slobodnu" kaže Igor Tabak, vojni analitičar portala "Orbis".

Prema riječima našeg sugovornika letenje ovakvih jednomotornih helikoptera jako je upitno iznad mora.

- Upravo zbog toga jer imaju jedan motor. Prema MORH-ovim stajalištima kada takve letjelice lete iznad mora, one bi trebale imati pratnju još jedne letjelice i pomorske ophodnje, koja može reagirati na vrijeme, ukoliko se nešto dogodi. Kada sami lete izlažu se riziku. Recimo, EU brani letenje jednomotornih civilnih helikoptera iznad urbanih područja. No, ovdje se radilo o vojnom letu, pa je i taj let sam po sebi specifičniji i rizičniji, kazuje Tabak.

Na kraju je Igor Tabak rekao, kako će se zbog ovog tragičnog slučaja otvoriti niz pitanja, na koja će trebati odgovoriti.

Mi ćemo pak podsjetiti na tekst koji je u Slobodnoj Dalmaciji objavljen u vremenu kada se tek dogovarala nabava Kiowa helikoptera u u kojem doslovno stoji sljedeća rečenica:

"Iznad mora mu se ne može dopustiti letenje jer ima samo jedan motor, čije bi otkazivanje imalo kobne posljedice za posadu."

Izviđački helikopteri OH-58D, poznatiji kao Kiowa warrior, u vojnim krugovima su znani kao laki izvidnički helikopteri koji se ne mogu koristiti za druge zadaće osim izviđačkih. I mnogi su već tada tvrdili kako oni Hrvatskoj ne trebaju jer je riječ o usko specijaliziranom helikopteru koji nije pogodan ni za jednu drugu ulogu.

Iako nosi određeno naoružanje (četiri protuoklopna projektila ili lansere nevođenih raketa, te strojnicu kalibra 7,62 milimetra), ono služi isključivo za samoobranu helikoptera. OH-58D nije borbeni helikopter – nema oklop, jednomotorni je, i njegov je način djelovanja (u paru s 'apacheom' ili drugim OH-58D) prikriveno djelovanje, a ne izlaganje protivničkoj paljbi.

- Helikopteri su sami po sebi vrlo osjetljive letjelice, a pogotovo kada se radi o jednomotornim helikopterima. Oni su posebno osjetljivi, upravo zbog te činjenice kako imaju samo jedan motor. Tako, recimo, HRZ u svojoj eskadrili ima helikoptere MI-8 koji su dvomotorni helikopteri, ali su puno teži od jednomotornih.

No, kada njima otkaže jedan motor, oni na drugom mogu doletjeti tamo gdje su krenuli. Kod jednomotornih helikoptera, koji su puno lakši, to nije slučaj. Kada im otkaže taj jedan motor, izvjesno je što će se dogoditi. Kod takvih jednomotornih helikoptera veći je rizik letenja - za "Slobodnu" kaže Igor Tabak, vojni analitičar portala "Orbis".

Prema riječima našeg sugovornika letenje ovakvih jednomotornih helikoptera jako je upitno iznad mora.

- Upravo zbog toga jer imaju jedan motor. Prema MORH-ovim stajalištima kada takve letjelice lete iznad mora, one bi trebale imati pratnju još jedne letjelice i pomorske ophodnje, koja može reagirati na vrijeme, ukoliko se nešto dogodi. Kada sami lete izlažu se riziku. Recimo, EU brani letenje jednomotornih civilnih helikoptera iznad urbanih područja. No, ovdje se radilo o vojnom letu, pa je i taj let sam po sebi specifičniji i rizičniji, kazuje Tabak.

Na kraju je Igor Tabak rekao, kako će se zbog ovog tragičnog slučaja otvoriti niz pitanja, na koja će trebati odgovoriti.

Mi ćemo pak podsjetiti na tekst koji je u Slobodnoj Dalmaciji objavljen u vremenu kada se tek dogovarala nabava Kiowa helikoptera u u kojem doslovno stoji sljedeća rečenica:

"Iznad mora mu se ne može dopustiti letenje jer ima samo jedan motor, čije bi otkazivanje imalo kobne posljedice za posadu."

Izviđački helikopteri OH-58D, poznatiji kao Kiowa warrior, u vojnim krugovima su znani kao laki izvidnički helikopteri koji se ne mogu koristiti za druge zadaće osim izviđačkih. I mnogi su već tada tvrdili kako oni Hrvatskoj ne trebaju jer je riječ o usko specijaliziranom helikopteru koji nije pogodan ni za jednu drugu ulogu.

Iako nosi određeno naoružanje (četiri protuoklopna projektila ili lansere nevođenih raketa, te strojnicu kalibra 7,62 milimetra), ono služi isključivo za samoobranu helikoptera. OH-58D nije borbeni helikopter – nema oklop, jednomotorni je, i njegov je način djelovanja (u paru s 'apacheom' ili drugim OH-58D) prikriveno djelovanje, a ne izlaganje protivničkoj paljbi.

- Helikopteri su sami po sebi vrlo osjetljive letjelice, a pogotovo kada se radi o jednomotornim helikopterima. Oni su posebno osjetljivi, upravo zbog te činjenice kako imaju samo jedan motor. Tako, recimo, HRZ u svojoj eskadrili ima helikoptere MI-8 koji su dvomotorni helikopteri, ali su puno teži od jednomotornih.

No, kada njima otkaže jedan motor, oni na drugom mogu doletjeti tamo gdje su krenuli. Kod jednomotornih helikoptera, koji su puno lakši, to nije slučaj. Kada im otkaže taj jedan motor, izvjesno je što će se dogoditi. Kod takvih jednomotornih helikoptera veći je rizik letenja - za "Slobodnu" kaže Igor Tabak, vojni analitičar portala "Orbis".

Prema riječima našeg sugovornika letenje ovakvih jednomotornih helikoptera jako je upitno iznad mora.
