''Mi smo podnijeli zahtjev za njegovo prebacivanje na izdržavanje kazne u Hrvatskoj koji još nije riješen, ali je u postupku i imamo nekakve naznake da bi vrlo skoro mogao biti prebačen u Hrvatsku'', kazao je Dozet Hini.

O potezima poduzetima pošto je u ožujku prvostupanjska presuda Mariću postala pravomoćna, Dozet je rekao da je srbijanskom Vrhovnom prizivnom sudu podnijet zahtjev za ispitivanje zakonitosti pravomoćne presude koji je odbijen. Zatim je podnesena ustavna žalba Ustavnom sudu Srbije koja još nije riješena.

Ne postoji nikakav rok u kojem bi Ustavni sud morao donijeti odluku i na nju se čeka, rekao je odvjetnik te istaknuo da je trenutačno najbitniji zahtjev za prebacivanje Marića u Hrvatsku ''koji je stavljen u proceduru i daleko je već odmakao''.

Ima naznaka iz ministarstava pravosuđa Srbije i Hrvatske da bi to ''trebalo biti riješeno'' kao i da je to u skladu sa međunarodnim pravom i sporazumom koji postoji između hrvatskog i srbijanskog pravosuđa, rekao je Dozet.

Odjel za ratne zločine Prizivnog suda u Beogradu u ožujku je potvrdio prvostupanjsku presudu kojom je Hrvatski branitelj Veljko Marić osuđen na 12 godina zatvora za ratni zločin protiv civilnog stanovništva, ubojstvo civila Petra Slijepčevića u listopadu 1991. na području Grubišnog Polja.

Žalbu Marićeva branitelja Odjel za ratne zločine Prizivnog suda u Beogradu odbio je kao neosnovanu i potvrdio prvostupanjsku presudu sudskog vijeća za ratne zločine Višeg suda u Beogradu kojom je Marić u prvostupanjskom postupku osuđen 23. rujna 2011. godine.

Prije upućivanja na izdržavanje zatvorske kazne u zatvor u Padinskoj Skeli blizu Beograda, što je učinjeno kada je prvostupanjska presuda postala pravomoćna, Marić je bio pritvoren u Beogradu od travnja 2010. kada je uhićen na srbijansko-bugarskoj granici.

odvjetnik Đorđe Dozet.

''Mi smo podnijeli zahtjev za njegovo prebacivanje na izdržavanje kazne u Hrvatskoj koji još nije riješen, ali je u postupku i imamo nekakve naznake da bi vrlo skoro mogao biti prebačen u Hrvatsku'', kazao je Dozet Hini.

O potezima poduzetima pošto je u ožujku prvostupanjska presuda Mariću postala pravomoćna, Dozet je rekao da je srbijanskom Vrhovnom prizivnom sudu podnijet zahtjev za ispitivanje zakonitosti pravomoćne presude koji je odbijen. Zatim je podnesena ustavna žalba Ustavnom sudu Srbije koja još nije riješena.

Ne postoji nikakav rok u kojem bi Ustavni sud morao donijeti odluku i na nju se čeka, rekao je odvjetnik te istaknuo da je trenutačno najbitniji zahtjev za prebacivanje Marića u Hrvatsku ''koji je stavljen u proceduru i daleko je već odmakao''.

Ima naznaka iz ministarstava pravosuđa Srbije i Hrvatske da bi to ''trebalo biti riješeno'' kao i da je to u skladu sa međunarodnim pravom i sporazumom koji postoji između hrvatskog i srbijanskog pravosuđa, rekao je Dozet.

Odjel za ratne zločine Prizivnog suda u Beogradu u ožujku je potvrdio prvostupanjsku presudu kojom je Hrvatski branitelj Veljko Marić osuđen na 12 godina zatvora za ratni zločin protiv civilnog stanovništva, ubojstvo civila Petra Slijepčevića u listopadu 1991. na području Grubišnog Polja.

Žalbu Marićeva branitelja Odjel za ratne zločine Prizivnog suda u Beogradu odbio je kao neosnovanu i potvrdio prvostupanjsku presudu sudskog vijeća za ratne zločine Višeg suda u Beogradu kojom je Marić u prvostupanjskom postupku osuđen 23. rujna 2011. godine.

Prije upućivanja na izdržavanje zatvorske kazne u zatvor u Padinskoj Skeli blizu Beograda, što je učinjeno kada je prvostupanjska presuda postala pravomoćna, Marić je bio pritvoren u Beogradu od travnja 2010. kada je uhićen na srbijansko-bugarskoj granici.

Odvjetnik: Veljko Marić mogao bi kaznu izdržavati u RH

Hrvatski branitelj Veljko Marić, koji u Srbiji izdržava pravomoćnu zatvorsku kaznu dosuđenu zbog ratnog zločina protiv civilnog stanovništva, mogao bi uskoro izdržavanje kazne nastaviti u Hrvatskoj, rekao je u petak njegov odvjetnik Đorđe Dozet.
