Bivši potpredsjednik vlade Damir Polančec potvrdio je večeras da je jučer podignuo rješenje za izdržavanje desetomjesečne kazne u kojoj je kao datum za odlazak u zatvor naznačen 13. kolovoza ali je najavio da će zbog pogoršanog zdravlja tražiti odgodu odlaska u zatvor.
Na desetomjesečnu zatvorsku kaznu Polančeca je zagrebački Županijski sud osudio jer je vukovarskom odvjetniku Petru Miletiću isplatio pola milijuna kuna za nepotrebnu stručnu studiju. Polančec je nepravomoćno bio osuđen na 15 mjeseci ali mu je Vrhovni sud smanjio kaznu za pet mjeseci dok je Miletiću kazna smanjena s 12 na osam mjeseci.
"Mogu potvrditi da sam jučer podigao rješenje o upućivanju na odsluženje kazne zatvora i da će moj odvjetnik podnijeti molbu za odgodu prema zakonom predviđenoj proceduri", rekao je Polančec Hini.
Polančecu je Vrhovni sud smanjio kaznu na deset mjeseci zato što mu je kao naročito olakotnu okolnost uzeo motiv zbog kojeg je prekršio zakon, a to je pokušaj rješavanja statusa radnika vukovarskog "Borova" srpske nacionalnosti.
Polančec smatra da je sama presuda nepravedna i nada se da će Ustavni sud ozbiljno razmotriti i prihvatiti njegovu tužbu na zakonitost presude budući da je, kako ističe, jedan sudac Vrhovnog suda imao izdvojeno mišljenje i u potpunosti prihvatio argumente njegove žalbe.
Polančec je, osim u tom slučaju, pravomoćno osuđen u slučaju 'reflektori' u kojemu je dobio jednogodišnju uvjetnu zatvorsku kaznu s četverogodišnjim rokom kušnje. U tom se slučaju bivši potpredsjednik vlade nagodio s USKOK-om.
Protiv Polančeca još se vodi postupak i u slučaju 'Spice', gdje je s bivšim čelnicima Podravke i njihovim poslovnim partnerima optužen da je tu tvrtku oštetio za 400 milijuna kuna.
Zasad nije poznato u koju će kaznionicu Polančec biti upućen na odsluženje kazne. On bi bio dosad najviši državni dužnosnik poslan na odsluženje zatvorske kazne zbog zloporabe položaja

Bivši potpredsjednik vlade Damir Polančec potvrdio je večeras da je jučer podignuo rješenje za izdržavanje desetomjesečne kazne u kojoj je kao datum za odlazak u zatvor naznačen 13. kolovoza ali je najavio da će zbog pogoršanog zdravlja tražiti odgodu odlaska u zatvor.
Na desetomjesečnu zatvorsku kaznu Polančeca je zagrebački Županijski sud osudio jer je vukovarskom odvjetniku Petru Miletiću isplatio pola milijuna kuna za nepotrebnu stručnu studiju. Polančec je nepravomoćno bio osuđen na 15 mjeseci ali mu je Vrhovni sud smanjio kaznu za pet mjeseci dok je Miletiću kazna smanjena s 12 na osam mjeseci.
"Mogu potvrditi da sam jučer podigao rješenje o upućivanju na odsluženje kazne zatvora i da će moj odvjetnik podnijeti molbu za odgodu prema zakonom predviđenoj proceduri", rekao je Polančec Hini.
Polančecu je Vrhovni sud smanjio kaznu na deset mjeseci zato što mu je kao naročito olakotnu okolnost uzeo motiv zbog kojeg je prekršio zakon, a to je pokušaj rješavanja statusa radnika vukovarskog "Borova" srpske nacionalnosti.
Polančec smatra da je sama presuda nepravedna i nada se da će Ustavni sud ozbiljno razmotriti i prihvatiti njegovu tužbu na zakonitost presude budući da je, kako ističe, jedan sudac Vrhovnog suda imao izdvojeno mišljenje i u potpunosti prihvatio argumente njegove žalbe.
Polančec je, osim u tom slučaju, pravomoćno osuđen u slučaju 'reflektori' u kojemu je dobio jednogodišnju uvjetnu zatvorsku kaznu s četverogodišnjim rokom kušnje. U tom se slučaju bivši potpredsjednik vlade nagodio s USKOK-om.
Protiv Polančeca još se vodi postupak i u slučaju 'Spice', gdje je s bivšim čelnicima Podravke i njihovim poslovnim partnerima optužen da je tu tvrtku oštetio za 400 milijuna kuna.
Zasad nije poznato u koju će kaznionicu Polančec biti upućen na odsluženje kazne. On bi bio dosad najviši državni dužnosnik poslan na odsluženje zatvorske kazne zbog zloporabe položaja
