Spomenik u Derventi kojeg je financirala obitelji
hrvatskog reprezentativca Vedrana Ćorluke

Nogometaš Manchester Cityija i hrvatski reprezentativac Vedran Ćorluka i njegov otac Jozo financirali su izgradnju spomenika na katoličkom groblju u Modranu kod Dervente.

No, beogradski Press spomenik smatra spornim jer je „u obliku latiničnog slova U, simbola nekadašnje Pavelićeve ustaške države NDH“ te da širi ideju ustaštva.

Prema napisima beogradskih novina spomenik, koji je podignut u svibnju prošle godine, „već godinu dana iritira mještane“ i nije uklonjen iako je bilo zahtjeva za rušenje.

Novine tvrde kako je spomenik izazvao ogorčenje u cijeloj Republici Srpskoj te da je najžustrije reagirao rabin židovske zajednice u RS Jozef Atijas, koji je zatražio rušenje spomenika i te podizanje sudskog postupka protiv graditelja.

- Još u kolovozu prošle godine slučaj su nadležnom tužiteljstvu prijavili i građani srpske nacionalnosti, koji su zahtjevali hitno rušenje obilježja koja asociraju na najcrnja stradanja u Drugom svjetskom ratu, pišu novine, dodajući kako novinari nisu uspjeli u dobojskom tužiteljstvu saznati u kojoj je fazi ovaj predmet. Gvardijan porušenog franjevačkog samostana Plehan, fra Mirko Filipović, u spomeniku ne vidi ništa sporno te poriče bilo kakvu vezu spomenika sa širenjem ideje ustaštva.

- Zaista ne znam gdje ste vidjeli slovo „U", jer ja ga ne vidim?! Problem je što Srbi još imaju otpor prema svemu što nosi predznak hrvatsko. Slično je i s ovim slučajem, rekao je fra Filipović dodavši kako zna i za reakciju rabina tvrdeći kako se on time želi dodvoriti aktualnoj vlasti u RS.

Novine su navele i izjave mještana, jednog Hrvata i jednog Srbina. Prvi bi ga srušio, a drugi se čudi što vlasti RS-a čekaju toliko dugo.

Spomenik u Derventi kojeg je financirala obitelji
hrvatskog reprezentativca Vedrana Ćorluke

Nogometaš Manchester Cityija i hrvatski reprezentativac Vedran Ćorluka i njegov otac Jozo financirali su izgradnju spomenika na katoličkom groblju u Modranu kod Dervente.

No, beogradski Press spomenik smatra spornim jer je „u obliku latiničnog slova U, simbola nekadašnje Pavelićeve ustaške države NDH“ te da širi ideju ustaštva.

Prema napisima beogradskih novina spomenik, koji je podignut u svibnju prošle godine, „već godinu dana iritira mještane“ i nije uklonjen iako je bilo zahtjeva za rušenje.

Novine tvrde kako je spomenik izazvao ogorčenje u cijeloj Republici Srpskoj te da je najžustrije reagirao rabin židovske zajednice u RS Jozef Atijas, koji je zatražio rušenje spomenika i te podizanje sudskog postupka protiv graditelja.

- Još u kolovozu prošle godine slučaj su nadležnom tužiteljstvu prijavili i građani srpske nacionalnosti, koji su zahtjevali hitno rušenje obilježja koja asociraju na najcrnja stradanja u Drugom svjetskom ratu, pišu novine, dodajući kako novinari nisu uspjeli u dobojskom tužiteljstvu saznati u kojoj je fazi ovaj predmet. Gvardijan porušenog franjevačkog samostana Plehan, fra Mirko Filipović, u spomeniku ne vidi ništa sporno te poriče bilo kakvu vezu spomenika sa širenjem ideje ustaštva.

- Zaista ne znam gdje ste vidjeli slovo „U", jer ja ga ne vidim?! Problem je što Srbi još imaju otpor prema svemu što nosi predznak hrvatsko. Slično je i s ovim slučajem, rekao je fra Filipović dodavši kako zna i za reakciju rabina tvrdeći kako se on time želi dodvoriti aktualnoj vlasti u RS.

Novine su navele i izjave mještana, jednog Hrvata i jednog Srbina. Prvi bi ga srušio, a drugi se čudi što vlasti RS-a čekaju toliko dugo.
