Predsjednik HSS-a Krešo Beljak koji je nakon rezultata parlamentarnih izbora najavio ostavku, neslužbeno je u četvrtak potvrdio da će se ponovno kandidirati za predsjednika stranke na izbornoj skupštini 30. srpnja jer "nije imao obraza odbiti ljude koji ga podržavaju".

"To još nije službeno, ali bit ću kandidat 30. srpnja  na izbornoj skupštini", izjavio je Beljak za N1 televiziju.

Dodao je da je podnio tehničku ostavku nakon debakla stranke na parlamentarnim izborima, no odbor zagrebačke županijske organizacije HSS-a jednoglasno je odlučio da ga ponovno kandidira za predsjednika stranke.

"Mislio sam da se neću ponovno kandidirati jer sam napravio puno grešaka, no nisam imao obraza odbiti ljude koji me podržavaju", objasnio je predsjednik HSS-a, stranke koja je na parlamentarnim izborima osvojila dva saborska mandata, tri manje nego prije četiri godine.

Na izbornoj skupštini će sudjelovati 1400 delegata, a Beljak je odbacio nagađanja da kontrolira stranku i ima većinu istaknuvši da ne postoji način da utječe na toliki broj delegata.

Rekao je i da on sigurno neće biti jedini kandidat, da će ih biti najmanje troje, a delegati će imati priliku odlučiti tko je najbolji.
Dodao je i da on osobno neće sudjelovati u kampanji.

Beljaku inače mandat na čelu HSS-a istječe 31. siječnja 2021., a ovako brzo raspisivanje izborne skupštine nakon parlamentarnih izbora objasnio je potrebom pripreme HSS-a za lokalne izbore iduće godine.

Predsjednik HSS-a Krešo Beljak koji je nakon rezultata parlamentarnih izbora najavio ostavku, neslužbeno je u četvrtak potvrdio da će se ponovno kandidirati za predsjednika stranke na izbornoj skupštini 30. srpnja jer "nije imao obraza odbiti ljude koji ga podržavaju".

"To još nije službeno, ali bit ću kandidat 30. srpnja  na izbornoj skupštini", izjavio je Beljak za N1 televiziju.

Dodao je da je podnio tehničku ostavku nakon debakla stranke na parlamentarnim izborima, no odbor zagrebačke županijske organizacije HSS-a jednoglasno je odlučio da ga ponovno kandidira za predsjednika stranke.

"Mislio sam da se neću ponovno kandidirati jer sam napravio puno grešaka, no nisam imao obraza odbiti ljude koji me podržavaju", objasnio je predsjednik HSS-a, stranke koja je na parlamentarnim izborima osvojila dva saborska mandata, tri manje nego prije četiri godine.

Na izbornoj skupštini će sudjelovati 1400 delegata, a Beljak je odbacio nagađanja da kontrolira stranku i ima većinu istaknuvši da ne postoji način da utječe na toliki broj delegata.

Rekao je i da on sigurno neće biti jedini kandidat, da će ih biti najmanje troje, a delegati će imati priliku odlučiti tko je najbolji.
Dodao je i da on osobno neće sudjelovati u kampanji.

Beljaku inače mandat na čelu HSS-a istječe 31. siječnja 2021., a ovako brzo raspisivanje izborne skupštine nakon parlamentarnih izbora objasnio je potrebom pripreme HSS-a za lokalne izbore iduće godine.

"To još nije službeno, ali bit ću kandidat 30. srpnja  na izbornoj skupštini", izjavio je Beljak za N1 televiziju.

Dodao je da je podnio tehničku ostavku nakon debakla stranke na parlamentarnim izborima, no odbor zagrebačke županijske organizacije HSS-a jednoglasno je odlučio da ga ponovno kandidira za predsjednika stranke.
