Na današnji dan Crkva se, na osobit način Crkva u Hrvata, spominje pet sestara mučenica, članica Družbe kćeri Božje Ljubavi kojima je njihov samostan na Palama kod Sarajeva, bio i prva postaja životnoga križnoga puta, s obzirom da su ih četnici, između 15. i 23. prosinca 1941., oteli i ubili "iz mržnje prema vjeri", na području istočne Bosne, piše KT.

Predstojnica samostana bila je s. M. Jula Ivanišević, Hrvatica rođena u Godinjaku kod Starog Petrova Sela 25. studenoga 1893. Uz nju su bile i: s. M. Berchmana Leidenix, Austrijanka rođena u Enzerdorfu, 28. studenoga 1865.; s. M. Krizina Bojanc, Slovenka, rođena u naselju Zbure kod Šmarjete, 14. svibnja 1885.; s. M. Antonija Fabjan, Slovenka rođena u Malom Lipju kod Hinje, 23. siječnja 1907.;te najmlađa s. M. Bernadeta Banja, Hrvatica mađarskoga porijekla, rođena u Velikom Frđevcu kod Bjelovara, 17. lipnja 1912.

Počeci njihove družbe na bosanskom tlu vežu se uz prvog vrhbosanskog nadbiskupa Josipa Stadlera, koji je Majku Franzisku Lechner zamolio da dovede svoje duhovne kćeri u tadašnje "misijsko područje", netom iz Osmanskoga Carstva izbavljene Bosne i Hercegovine. Majka Franziska, koja je Kćeri Božje ljubavi osnovala s prvotnom zadaćom da promiču odgoj i obrazovanje djece i mladeži, napose ženske, poslušala je Stadlerov potiv te 1882. u Sarajevo dovela svoje sestre. Već u jesen iste godine u glavnom gradu BiH započela je s radom škola nazvana Zavoda Svetog Josipa. Prisutnost i djelovanje Družbe u kratkom su se vremenu razdoblju vrlo razgranali te su sestre skrbile o odgoju i školovanju brojne djece, bez obzira na njihovu vjeru i nacionalnost.

Godine 1911. kupile su kuću i okolnu crnogoričnu šumu na Palama, nedaleko od Sarajeva, s namjerom da ondje urede lječilište za bolesne sestre. Kuću su nazvale Marijin dom te uz njega sagradile kapelicu Majke Divne. Već 1912. i ondje su otvorile školu koju su, uz katoličku, pohađala i pravoslavna i muslimanska djeca.

Četnici su 11. prosinca 1941. opkolili samostan, te oteli časne sestre i svećenika Franca Meška kojeg su nacisti, kao i brojne druge svećenike, potjerali iz Slovenije. Poveli su ih prema Goraždu, gdje je upravo na djelu bio pokolj Hrvata i Muslimana Podrinja, o čemu je svjedočio rođeni Goraždanin don Anto Baković. Put od 65 km trajao je danima po snijegu i zimi. Dok su svećenika pustili, časne sestre su zatvorili u jednu prostoriju (danas je to škola), s namjerom da ih siluju i obeščaste.

Predvečer 15. prosinca u Goraždu, opijeni alkoholom i izluđeni ubijanjima, došli su u sobu te ih počeli udarati i trgati odjeću s njih. Sestra Jula Ivanišević naglo je otvorila prozor i uz povik: "Isuse, spasi nas!" skočila u noć. Isto su učinile i druge sestre slijedeći njezin primjer. Budući da visina nije bila velika, nisu poginule na mjestu, nego polomile udove i ostale ležati.

Četnici su pojurili iz kuće te ih izboli noževima dok su polomljene ležale na hladnom podrinjskom tlu. Odvukli su ih potom do obale i bacili u Drinu.

Najstarija među Drinskim mučenicama, sestra Berchmana koja je tada imala 76 godina, nije doživjela tu sudbinu. Ona je iznemogla na putu prema Goraždu, ali ostala na životu te je došla do sela u blizini Carevih voda. Ondje su je ljudi primili i počeli liječiti, no četnici su to saznali i 23. prosinca je zaklali.

Jednoj djevojci u selu su naredili da od njenog redovničkog odijela napravi četničku zastavu s mrtvačkom glavom.

Tako su svoj život završile vjerne i bogobojazne kršćanske duše, časne sestre s Pala pokraj Sarajeva. Blažene Drinske mučenice beatificirane su 2011. u Sarajevu.

Na današnji dan Crkva se, na osobit način Crkva u Hrvata, spominje pet sestara mučenica, članica Družbe kćeri Božje Ljubavi kojima je njihov samostan na Palama kod Sarajeva, bio i prva postaja životnoga križnoga puta, s obzirom da su ih četnici, između 15. i 23. prosinca 1941., oteli i ubili "iz mržnje prema vjeri", na području istočne Bosne, piše KT.

Predstojnica samostana bila je s. M. Jula Ivanišević, Hrvatica rođena u Godinjaku kod Starog Petrova Sela 25. studenoga 1893. Uz nju su bile i: s. M. Berchmana Leidenix, Austrijanka rođena u Enzerdorfu, 28. studenoga 1865.; s. M. Krizina Bojanc, Slovenka, rođena u naselju Zbure kod Šmarjete, 14. svibnja 1885.; s. M. Antonija Fabjan, Slovenka rođena u Malom Lipju kod Hinje, 23. siječnja 1907.;te najmlađa s. M. Bernadeta Banja, Hrvatica mađarskoga porijekla, rođena u Velikom Frđevcu kod Bjelovara, 17. lipnja 1912.

Počeci njihove družbe na bosanskom tlu vežu se uz prvog vrhbosanskog nadbiskupa Josipa Stadlera, koji je Majku Franzisku Lechner zamolio da dovede svoje duhovne kćeri u tadašnje "misijsko područje", netom iz Osmanskoga Carstva izbavljene Bosne i Hercegovine. Majka Franziska, koja je Kćeri Božje ljubavi osnovala s prvotnom zadaćom da promiču odgoj i obrazovanje djece i mladeži, napose ženske, poslušala je Stadlerov potiv te 1882. u Sarajevo dovela svoje sestre. Već u jesen iste godine u glavnom gradu BiH započela je s radom škola nazvana Zavoda Svetog Josipa. Prisutnost i djelovanje Družbe u kratkom su se vremenu razdoblju vrlo razgranali te su sestre skrbile o odgoju i školovanju brojne djece, bez obzira na njihovu vjeru i nacionalnost.

Godine 1911. kupile su kuću i okolnu crnogoričnu šumu na Palama, nedaleko od Sarajeva, s namjerom da ondje urede lječilište za bolesne sestre. Kuću su nazvale Marijin dom te uz njega sagradile kapelicu Majke Divne. Već 1912. i ondje su otvorile školu koju su, uz katoličku, pohađala i pravoslavna i muslimanska djeca.

Četnici su 11. prosinca 1941. opkolili samostan, te oteli časne sestre i svećenika Franca Meška kojeg su nacisti, kao i brojne druge svećenike, potjerali iz Slovenije. Poveli su ih prema Goraždu, gdje je upravo na djelu bio pokolj Hrvata i Muslimana Podrinja, o čemu je svjedočio rođeni Goraždanin don Anto Baković. Put od 65 km trajao je danima po snijegu i zimi. Dok su svećenika pustili, časne sestre su zatvorili u jednu prostoriju (danas je to škola), s namjerom da ih siluju i obeščaste.

Predvečer 15. prosinca u Goraždu, opijeni alkoholom i izluđeni ubijanjima, došli su u sobu te ih počeli udarati i trgati odjeću s njih. Sestra Jula Ivanišević naglo je otvorila prozor i uz povik: "Isuse, spasi nas!" skočila u noć. Isto su učinile i druge sestre slijedeći njezin primjer. Budući da visina nije bila velika, nisu poginule na mjestu, nego polomile udove i ostale ležati.

Četnici su pojurili iz kuće te ih izboli noževima dok su polomljene ležale na hladnom podrinjskom tlu. Odvukli su ih potom do obale i bacili u Drinu.

Najstarija među Drinskim mučenicama, sestra Berchmana koja je tada imala 76 godina, nije doživjela tu sudbinu. Ona je iznemogla na putu prema Goraždu, ali ostala na životu te je došla do sela u blizini Carevih voda. Ondje su je ljudi primili i počeli liječiti, no četnici su to saznali i 23. prosinca je zaklali.

Jednoj djevojci u selu su naredili da od njenog redovničkog odijela napravi četničku zastavu s mrtvačkom glavom.

Tako su svoj život završile vjerne i bogobojazne kršćanske duše, časne sestre s Pala pokraj Sarajeva. Blažene Drinske mučenice beatificirane su 2011. u Sarajevu.

Regijadrinske mučenice

Četnici su ih oteli iz samostana na Palama i svirepo ubili. Samo zbog mržnje prema vjeri: ovih se dana obilježava godišnjica ovog bezdušnog zločina, sestre su beatificirane 2011.

Na današnji dan Crkva se, na osobit način Crkva u Hrvata, spominje pet sestara mučenica, članica Družbe kćeri Božje Ljubavi kojima je njihov samostan na Palama kod Sarajeva, bio i prva postaja životnoga križnoga puta, s obzirom da su ih četnici, između 15. i 23. prosinca 1941., oteli i ubili "iz mržnje prema vjeri", na području istočne Bosne, piše KT.

Predstojnica samostana bila je s. M. Jula Ivanišević, Hrvatica rođena u Godinjaku kod Starog Petrova Sela 25. studenoga 1893. Uz nju su bile i: s. M. Berchmana Leidenix, Austrijanka rođena u Enzerdorfu, 28. studenoga 1865.; s. M. Krizina Bojanc, Slovenka, rođena u naselju Zbure kod Šmarjete, 14. svibnja 1885.; s. M.
