Poglavar Islamske zajednice u Bosni i Hercegovini Mustafa Cerić opravdava prisutnost vahabita, pristalica radikalnog islamskog pokreta, u njegovoj zemlji a one koji iskazuju zabrinutost zbog njihova djelovanja i ekstremističkih izgreda optužio je za "širenje islamofobije".

- Oni koji nas okrivljuju da im je stanje loše zbog islama i 'novih' muslimana pridružuju se islamofobiji koja nas, bosanske muslimane, 'stare' i 'nove' podsjeća na iskustvo preživljenog genocida - kazao je Cerić tijekom molitve koju je u petak prevodio u jednoj džamiji kod mjesta Sokolac u istočnom dijelu BiH.

Kako je prenijela informativna agencija Islamske zajednice u BiH (MINA), Cerić je kazao kako je jasno da nekima "smetaju novi muslimani koje nazivaju vehabijama" a sve to samo zato što su oni "preživjeli genocid i protive se režimu aparthejda".

Iako nije nikoga izravno spomenuo reis Cerić je očevidno polemizirao s vrhbosanskim nadbiskupom kardinalom Vinkom Puljićem koji je otvoreno iskazao zabrinutost zbog djelovanja vahabita u BiH.

- Postoji jedan mentalitet koji nije naš izvorni iz BiH. Ja ih puno ne poznajem no znam da ih zovu vehabijama. Nisu oni muslimani koje znam iz mog djetinjstva. Ja o tome rijetko govorim jer brzo dobijem prijeteća pisma - kazao je kardinal Puljić tijekom predavanja o međureligijskom dijalogu i koegzistenciji u poslijeratnom Sarajevu što ga je održao ranije ovog tjedna za posjeta Washingtonu.

Ta je izjava kardinala Puljića naišla na veliki odjek u bosanskohercegovačkoj javnosti i medijima a reis Cerić je u petak ustvrdio kako je Islamska zajednica u BiH sposobna nositi se sa svim izazovima te da joj nije potreban "ničiji paternalizam".

Cerić je ustvrdio kako "bosanski muslimani, ni 'stari' niti 'novi' neće ugrožavati ničije pravo na život, slobodu, imovinu i čast".

Prisutnost vahabita u BiH postala je temom posebne rasprave kada je prošle godine zbog nasilnih izgreda koje su izazvali prekinut Queer festival u Sarajevu.

Vahabiti su već našli uporište u brojnim džamijama u BiH, uključujući i najveću u sarajevskom naselju Alipašino polje izgrađenu i održavanu novcima iz Saudijske Arabije.

Zagovaraju specifičnu interpretaciju islama a poznato je da i bosanske muslimane pokušavaju 'preodgajati' i prisliti ih na prihvaćanje novih običaja, uključujući i posebne molitvene obrede.

Poglavar Islamske zajednice u Bosni i Hercegovini Mustafa Cerić opravdava prisutnost vahabita, pristalica radikalnog islamskog pokreta, u njegovoj zemlji a one koji iskazuju zabrinutost zbog njihova djelovanja i ekstremističkih izgreda optužio je za "širenje islamofobije".

- Oni koji nas okrivljuju da im je stanje loše zbog islama i 'novih' muslimana pridružuju se islamofobiji koja nas, bosanske muslimane, 'stare' i 'nove' podsjeća na iskustvo preživljenog genocida - kazao je Cerić tijekom molitve koju je u petak prevodio u jednoj džamiji kod mjesta Sokolac u istočnom dijelu BiH.

Kako je prenijela informativna agencija Islamske zajednice u BiH (MINA), Cerić je kazao kako je jasno da nekima "smetaju novi muslimani koje nazivaju vehabijama" a sve to samo zato što su oni "preživjeli genocid i protive se režimu aparthejda".

Iako nije nikoga izravno spomenuo reis Cerić je očevidno polemizirao s vrhbosanskim nadbiskupom kardinalom Vinkom Puljićem koji je otvoreno iskazao zabrinutost zbog djelovanja vahabita u BiH.

- Postoji jedan mentalitet koji nije naš izvorni iz BiH. Ja ih puno ne poznajem no znam da ih zovu vehabijama. Nisu oni muslimani koje znam iz mog djetinjstva. Ja o tome rijetko govorim jer brzo dobijem prijeteća pisma - kazao je kardinal Puljić tijekom predavanja o međureligijskom dijalogu i koegzistenciji u poslijeratnom Sarajevu što ga je održao ranije ovog tjedna za posjeta Washingtonu.

Ta je izjava kardinala Puljića naišla na veliki odjek u bosanskohercegovačkoj javnosti i medijima a reis Cerić je u petak ustvrdio kako je Islamska zajednica u BiH sposobna nositi se sa svim izazovima te da joj nije potreban "ničiji paternalizam".

Cerić je ustvrdio kako "bosanski muslimani, ni 'stari' niti 'novi' neće ugrožavati ničije pravo na život, slobodu, imovinu i čast".

Prisutnost vahabita u BiH postala je temom posebne rasprave kada je prošle godine zbog nasilnih izgreda koje su izazvali prekinut Queer festival u Sarajevu.

Vahabiti su već našli uporište u brojnim džamijama u BiH, uključujući i najveću u sarajevskom naselju Alipašino polje izgrađenu i održavanu novcima iz Saudijske Arabije.

Zagovaraju specifičnu interpretaciju islama a poznato je da i bosanske muslimane pokušavaju 'preodgajati' i prisliti ih na prihvaćanje novih običaja, uključujući i posebne molitvene obrede.
