Njemački kemičar Andreas Fath krenuo je na skoro 3.000 metara dugo plivanje Dunavom kako bi niz njegov tok uzimao uzorke vode, koju je u pokretnom laboratoriju na brodu trebao analizirati tim znanstvenika sa Sveučilišta u Beču. I tako je Fath plivao sve do Beograda, a onda je tu odustao - zbog fekalija, prenosi Buka.

Fath i tim bečkih znanstvenika krenuli su u avanturu u projektu "Očisti Dunav" kako bi uzorke vode testirali na prisustvo mikroplastike i aditiva, supstanci koje mogu biti vrlo štetne za živi svijet u vodi.

Kemičar se nadomak Beograda zabrinuo da bi zagađena voda mogla biti ozbiljan izazov za njegov imunološki sustav.

- U Beogradu živi oko 1,7 milijuna ljudi. Njihova otpadna voda ne prolazi nikakav tretman u tvornicama za preradu, već se direktno ulijeva u rijeke. Izmet ulazi u vodu. Zbog količine bakterija koje se izlijevaju u rijeku, veliki je izazov plivati u Beogradu. Posljedica kontakta s dunavskom vodom može biti infekcija escherichijom coli - rekla je Fathova suradnica za 'Telegraf'.

Dodala je da je Fath zbog toga odlučio Dunavom kroz Beograd proći na brodu.

Svim dunavskim plivačima u Beogradu Fath savjetuje: "Pokušajte ne gutati vodu. Ako ste slabijeg imuniteta, nemojte plivati u tom dijelu rijeke. Voda Dunava je na području Beograda prljava i mi smo našim brzim testovima izmjerili da je koncentracija kisika u Dunavu u Beogradu niža nego u dijelovima koje smo prethodno prešli".

Kompletne kemijske analize bit će obavljene po završetku ekspedicije.

Istraživanje austrijskih sveučilišnih znanstvenika iz 2019. godine pokazao je da je rijeka Dunav zagađena fekalijama duž svog toka kroz Srbiju, Rumunjsku i Bugarsku. Situacija je posebno kritična u Novom Sadu i Beogradu, gdje je prisustvo bakterije E. coli izuzetno visoko, pokazala su mikrobiološka istraživanja.

U Beogradu postoji čak 100 direktnih izljeva kanalizacije iz kojih se na godišnjoj razini u rijeke izlije 60.000 olimpijskih bazena fekalija, rekao je ranije zamjenik gradonačelnika Beograda Goran Vesić.

Plan je da se u Velikom selu izgradi tvornica za preradu otpadnih voda u koju će biti uloženo u prvoj fazi 285, a u drugoj 400 do 500 milijuna eura i koja će pokriti 80 izljeva kanalizacija. Ostale izljeve pokrit će druge tvornice za preradu otpadnih voda, navodi Buka.

Njemački kemičar Andreas Fath krenuo je na skoro 3.000 metara dugo plivanje Dunavom kako bi niz njegov tok uzimao uzorke vode, koju je u pokretnom laboratoriju na brodu trebao analizirati tim znanstvenika sa Sveučilišta u Beču. I tako je Fath plivao sve do Beograda, a onda je tu odustao - zbog fekalija, prenosi Buka.

Fath i tim bečkih znanstvenika krenuli su u avanturu u projektu "Očisti Dunav" kako bi uzorke vode testirali na prisustvo mikroplastike i aditiva, supstanci koje mogu biti vrlo štetne za živi svijet u vodi.

Kemičar se nadomak Beograda zabrinuo da bi zagađena voda mogla biti ozbiljan izazov za njegov imunološki sustav.

- U Beogradu živi oko 1,7 milijuna ljudi. Njihova otpadna voda ne prolazi nikakav tretman u tvornicama za preradu, već se direktno ulijeva u rijeke. Izmet ulazi u vodu. Zbog količine bakterija koje se izlijevaju u rijeku, veliki je izazov plivati u Beogradu. Posljedica kontakta s dunavskom vodom može biti infekcija escherichijom coli - rekla je Fathova suradnica za 'Telegraf'.

Dodala je da je Fath zbog toga odlučio Dunavom kroz Beograd proći na brodu.

Svim dunavskim plivačima u Beogradu Fath savjetuje: "Pokušajte ne gutati vodu. Ako ste slabijeg imuniteta, nemojte plivati u tom dijelu rijeke. Voda Dunava je na području Beograda prljava i mi smo našim brzim testovima izmjerili da je koncentracija kisika u Dunavu u Beogradu niža nego u dijelovima koje smo prethodno prešli".

Kompletne kemijske analize bit će obavljene po završetku ekspedicije.

Istraživanje austrijskih sveučilišnih znanstvenika iz 2019. godine pokazao je da je rijeka Dunav zagađena fekalijama duž svog toka kroz Srbiju, Rumunjsku i Bugarsku. Situacija je posebno kritična u Novom Sadu i Beogradu, gdje je prisustvo bakterije E. coli izuzetno visoko, pokazala su mikrobiološka istraživanja.

U Beogradu postoji čak 100 direktnih izljeva kanalizacije iz kojih se na godišnjoj razini u rijeke izlije 60.000 olimpijskih bazena fekalija, rekao je ranije zamjenik gradonačelnika Beograda Goran Vesić.

Plan je da se u Velikom selu izgradi tvornica za preradu otpadnih voda u koju će biti uloženo u prvoj fazi 285, a u drugoj 400 do 500 milijuna eura i koja će pokriti 80 izljeva kanalizacija. Ostale izljeve pokrit će druge tvornice za preradu otpadnih voda, navodi Buka.

Njemački kemičar Andreas Fath krenuo je na skoro 3.000 metara dugo plivanje Dunavom kako bi niz njegov tok uzimao uzorke vode, koju je u pokretnom laboratoriju na brodu trebao analizirati tim znanstvenika sa Sveučilišta u Beču. I tako je Fath plivao sve do Beograda, a onda je tu odustao - zbog fekalija, prenosi Buka.

Fath i tim bečkih znanstvenika krenuli su u avanturu u projektu "Očisti Dunav" kako bi uzorke vode testirali na prisustvo mikroplastike i aditiva, supstanci koje mogu biti vrlo štetne za živi svijet u vodi.

Kemičar se nadomak Beograda zabrinuo da bi zagađena voda mogla biti ozbiljan izazov za njegov imunološki sustav.

- U Beogradu živi oko 1,7 milijuna ljudi. Njihova otpadna voda ne prolazi nikakav tretman u tvornicama za preradu, već se direktno ulijeva u rijeke....
