Kad je u lipnju 2017. Ana Brnabić preuzela srpsku vladu, kao prva deklarirana LGBT osoba na ovim prostorima koja zauzima tako visoku državnu funkciju, očekivanja progresivnog dijela srpske javnosti – a i šire – bila su golema.

Prvenstveno je velike nade u nju polagala srpska LGBT zajednica, koja ju je nešto ranije – dok je bila ministrica uprave - proglasila gay ikonom za 2016. godinu „zbog doprinosa u poboljšavanju položaja te zajednice”, jer je „odlukom da ne krije svoju seksualnu orijentaciju i sudjeluje u prošlogodišnjoj Paradi ponosa pokazala izuzetnu hrabrost”.

U obrazloženju nagrade navodilo se i da je vidljivost koju je LGBT zajednica u Srbiji dobila njezinim postavljanjem na ministarsko mjesto „nemjerljiva”, te će imati „pozitivne utjecaje na smanjenje homofobije u društvu i ohrabrivanje drugih LGBT osoba da se ne skrivaju”.

Ta su očekivanja sigurno još samo porasla kad je Ana Brnabić iduće godine postala premijerka. Ali nisu se samo homoseksualci uzdali u nju – i širi slojevi društva nadali su se nekoj novoj, „Brnabićkinoj Srbiji”.

Rezultat: apsolutna nula

Mislilo se tada da će prva gay premijerka Balkana modernizirati srpsko društvo, bar u smislu relaksacije od rigidnog nacionalizma koji Srbiju gotovo bez prekida potresa već trideset pet godina. Smatralo se da će osoba iz manjinske zajednice, koja je na svojoj koži morala osjetiti posljedice nacionalističkog pogleda na svijet, povesti Srbiju u jednom drukčijem smjeru.

Danas, šest lipanja kasnije, kada premijerka Brnabić uslijed masovnih prosvjeda „Srbija protiv nasilja” javno nudi ostavku koja vodi u izvanredne izbore, vrijeme je da sumiramo njezin mandat u smislu tih očekivanja.

Ta operacija nije teška: rezultat je apsolutna nula. Sve što je Srbiju tištilo prije Ane Brnabić, tišti je i sada.

Ispostavilo se da je gay premijerka bila samo lažno progresivni paravan koji je Zapadu trebao signalizirati da se na Balkanu pojavila jedna moderna, tolerantna Srbija koja zaslužuje otvoren put prema EU integracijama.

A za to vrijeme, svih šest godina njezina mandata, predsjednik Srbije Aleksandar Vučić nastavljao je autokratski vladati zemljom, svodeći opoziciju i nezavisne medije na statističku grešku, ne dopuštajući da se društvena atmosfera imalo relaksira, a da premijerka nije nikada ničim osporila tu „vučićevsku Srbiju”.

Ispostavilo se, ukratko, da je premijerka Brnabić poslužila kao „smokvin list” Vučićeva režima.

‘Hrabra Vučićeva lezba‘

Zapravo, dogodilo se točno ono na što je nejaka srpska opozicija upozoravala još prije šest-sedam godina, dok je buduća premijerka još bila ministrica, došavši na to mjesto s pozicije direktorice američke tvrtke za razvoj vjetroelektrana „Continental Wind Serbia” (CWE).

Upravo je taj posao u CWE izvor velike afere koja se vezuje uz ime Ane Brnabić. Sredinom 2015. srpski mediji objavili su transkripte prisluškivanih razgovora prethodne CWE-ove direktorice Lidije Udovički, koja se sugovorniku žalila da direktor „Elektromreže Srbije” Nikola Petrović – inače Vučićev kum - traži od nje dva milijuna eura kako bi CWE-ove vjetroelektrane priključio na srpsku elektroenergetsku mrežu.

Prema tadašnjim medijskim navodima, ključnu ulogu u zataškavanju afere odigrala je upravo Ana Brnabić, koja je kao direktorica CWE-a javno demantirala tvrdnje prethodne direktorice o korupcijskim i reketaškim radnjama Vučićeva kuma. Zauzvrat, pisali su srpski mediji, Vučić je Anu Brnabić nagradio ministarskom, a potom i premijerskom foteljom.

Tako je Ana Brnabić postzala „hrabra lezba koja zataškava Vučićeve afere”. Zato i nije kao premijerka mogla doprinijeti modernizaciji srpskog društva.

Kad je u lipnju 2017. Ana Brnabić preuzela srpsku vladu, kao prva deklarirana LGBT osoba na ovim prostorima koja zauzima tako visoku državnu funkciju, očekivanja progresivnog dijela srpske javnosti – a i šire – bila su golema.

Prvenstveno je velike nade u nju polagala srpska LGBT zajednica, koja ju je nešto ranije – dok je bila ministrica uprave - proglasila gay ikonom za 2016. godinu „zbog doprinosa u poboljšavanju položaja te zajednice”, jer je „odlukom da ne krije svoju seksualnu orijentaciju i sudjeluje u prošlogodišnjoj Paradi ponosa pokazala izuzetnu hrabrost”.

U obrazloženju nagrade navodilo se i da je vidljivost koju je LGBT zajednica u Srbiji dobila njezinim postavljanjem na ministarsko mjesto „nemjerljiva”, te će imati „pozitivne utjecaje na smanjenje homofobije u društvu i ohrabrivanje drugih LGBT osoba da se ne skrivaju”.

Ta su očekivanja sigurno još samo porasla kad je Ana Brnabić iduće godine postala premijerka. Ali nisu se samo homoseksualci uzdali u nju – i širi slojevi društva nadali su se nekoj novoj, „Brnabićkinoj Srbiji”.

Rezultat: apsolutna nula

Mislilo se tada da će prva gay premijerka Balkana modernizirati srpsko društvo, bar u smislu relaksacije od rigidnog nacionalizma koji Srbiju gotovo bez prekida potresa već trideset pet godina. Smatralo se da će osoba iz manjinske zajednice, koja je na svojoj koži morala osjetiti posljedice nacionalističkog pogleda na svijet, povesti Srbiju u jednom drukčijem smjeru.

Danas, šest lipanja kasnije, kada premijerka Brnabić uslijed masovnih prosvjeda „Srbija protiv nasilja” javno nudi ostavku koja vodi u izvanredne izbore, vrijeme je da sumiramo njezin mandat u smislu tih očekivanja.

Ta operacija nije teška: rezultat je apsolutna nula. Sve što je Srbiju tištilo prije Ane Brnabić, tišti je i sada.

Ispostavilo se da je gay premijerka bila samo lažno progresivni paravan koji je Zapadu trebao signalizirati da se na Balkanu pojavila jedna moderna, tolerantna Srbija koja zaslužuje otvoren put prema EU integracijama.

A za to vrijeme, svih šest godina njezina mandata, predsjednik Srbije Aleksandar Vučić nastavljao je autokratski vladati zemljom, svodeći opoziciju i nezavisne medije na statističku grešku, ne dopuštajući da se društvena atmosfera imalo relaksira, a da premijerka nije nikada ničim osporila tu „vučićevsku Srbiju”.

Ispostavilo se, ukratko, da je premijerka Brnabić poslužila kao „smokvin list” Vučićeva režima.

‘Hrabra Vučićeva lezba‘

Zapravo, dogodilo se točno ono na što je nejaka srpska opozicija upozoravala još prije šest-sedam godina, dok je buduća premijerka još bila ministrica, došavši na to mjesto s pozicije direktorice američke tvrtke za razvoj vjetroelektrana „Continental Wind Serbia” (CWE).

Upravo je taj posao u CWE izvor velike afere koja se vezuje uz ime Ane Brnabić. Sredinom 2015. srpski mediji objavili su transkripte prisluškivanih razgovora prethodne CWE-ove direktorice Lidije Udovički, koja se sugovorniku žalila da direktor „Elektromreže Srbije” Nikola Petrović – inače Vučićev kum - traži od nje dva milijuna eura kako bi CWE-ove vjetroelektrane priključio na srpsku elektroenergetsku mrežu.

Prema tadašnjim medijskim navodima, ključnu ulogu u zataškavanju afere odigrala je upravo Ana Brnabić, koja je kao direktorica CWE-a javno demantirala tvrdnje prethodne direktorice o korupcijskim i reketaškim radnjama Vučićeva kuma. Zauzvrat, pisali su srpski mediji, Vučić je Anu Brnabić nagradio ministarskom, a potom i premijerskom foteljom.

Tako je Ana Brnabić postzala „hrabra lezba koja zataškava Vučićeve afere”. Zato i nije kao premijerka mogla doprinijeti modernizaciji srpskog društva.
