Povjerenje u američku vojsku toliko je opalo da većina Amerikanaca nema snažno povjerenje u svoje oružane snage, a trend se ubrzao otkako je Joe Biden preuzeo dužnost glavnog zapovjednika, pokazuju rezultati nove ankete. Samo 45 posto Amerikanaca ima 'veliko' povjerenje u svoju vojsku. Ovo je prvi put da je manje od polovice ispitanika u anketi izrazilo snažno povjerenje u vojnike.

Povjerenje javnosti palo je za 25 postotnih bodova, sa 70 posto, u posljednje tri godine. Rejting je pao za 11 bodova u samo posljednjih devet mjeseci, pod Bidenom, a brojke za druge institucije još su niže. Samo 19 posto anketiranih Amerikanaca imalo je snažno povjerenje u predsjedništvo u studenom – što je pad u odnosu na 30 posto u veljači, pokazalo je istraživanje Instituta Reagan. Ista ocjena za provođenje zakona pala je na 33 posto s 50 posto u posljednje tri godine, dok su mediji zadržali povjerenje od samo 10 posto, što je pad sa 16 posto u 2018.

Među onim ispitanicima koji su izrazili malo ili nimalo povjerenja u američku vojsku, najčešći razlog naveden je 'političko vodstvo', navodi institut. Na one koji su izrazili snažno povjerenje najviše je utjecalo njihovo visoko poštovanje prema redovnim vojnim pripadnicima, prenosi RT.

Samo 42 posto Amerikanaca ima veliko povjerenje u sposobnost vojske da pobijedi u inozemnom ratu, pokazalo je istraživanje. Slično, 40 posto snažno vjeruje da će vojska djelovati na 'profesionalan i nepolitičan način'. Na pitanje koja zemlja ima najbolju vojsku, 69 posto je odabralo SAD, dok je 17 posto odabralo Kinu. Gotovo jedna trećina rekla je da SAD koristi vojsku u previše situacija u kojima bi diplomacija bila bolja.

Pentagon se ove godine našao na udaru kritika zbog navodnog prihvaćanja ideologije 'antirasizma' i davanja prioriteta inicijativama socijalne pravde, kao što je ukidanje zabrane transrodnih trupa, umjesto borbene spremnosti. Kaotično povlačenje Bidenove administracije iz Afganistana, u kojem je ubijeno 13 američkih vojnika, a stotine američkih državljana ostavljeno na cjedilu u zemlji pod kontrolom talibana, izazvalo je još više bijesa javnosti.

Reaganovo istraživanje pokazalo je da 62 posto anketiranih Amerikanaca ne odobrava način na koji je riješen izlazak iz Afganistana. Gotovo polovica ispitanika krivila je Bidenovu lošu procjenu, dok je 20 posto navelo loše vojno planiranje.

Anketa je također pokazala sve manju podršku SAD-a za 'aktivno globalno vodstvo'. Samo 42 posto vjeruje da bi Amerika trebala biti 'više angažirana i preuzeti vodstvo' u svjetskim poslovima, u odnosu na 51 posto u veljači. Više od jednog u četiri Amerikanca želi da vojska smanji svoju prisutnost u inozemstvu i rasporedi trupe samo kao odgovor na agresiju.

Kina je velikom većinom identificirana kao najveća strana prijetnja SAD-u, s 52 posto, u odnosu na samo 21 posto prije tri godine. Više od sedam od 10 ispitanih Amerikanaca reklo je da vjeruje da je virus Covid-19 procurio iz kineskog laboratorija i da je Peking lagao kako bi ga prikrio. Strahovi oko Rusije naglo su opali, a 14 posto ispitanika smatra da je to najveća prijetnja, što je pad s 30 posto u 2018.

Povjerenje u američku vojsku toliko je opalo da većina Amerikanaca nema snažno povjerenje u svoje oružane snage, a trend se ubrzao otkako je Joe Biden preuzeo dužnost glavnog zapovjednika, pokazuju rezultati nove ankete. Samo 45 posto Amerikanaca ima 'veliko' povjerenje u svoju vojsku. Ovo je prvi put da je manje od polovice ispitanika u anketi izrazilo snažno povjerenje u vojnike.

Povjerenje javnosti palo je za 25 postotnih bodova, sa 70 posto, u posljednje tri godine. Rejting je pao za 11 bodova u samo posljednjih devet mjeseci, pod Bidenom, a brojke za druge institucije još su niže. Samo 19 posto anketiranih Amerikanaca imalo je snažno povjerenje u predsjedništvo u studenom – što je pad u odnosu na 30 posto u veljači, pokazalo je istraživanje Instituta Reagan. Ista ocjena za provođenje zakona pala je na 33 posto s 50 posto u posljednje tri godine, dok su mediji zadržali povjerenje od samo 10 posto, što je pad sa 16 posto u 2018.

Među onim ispitanicima koji su izrazili malo ili nimalo povjerenja u američku vojsku, najčešći razlog naveden je 'političko vodstvo', navodi institut. Na one koji su izrazili snažno povjerenje najviše je utjecalo njihovo visoko poštovanje prema redovnim vojnim pripadnicima, prenosi RT.

Samo 42 posto Amerikanaca ima veliko povjerenje u sposobnost vojske da pobijedi u inozemnom ratu, pokazalo je istraživanje. Slično, 40 posto snažno vjeruje da će vojska djelovati na 'profesionalan i nepolitičan način'. Na pitanje koja zemlja ima najbolju vojsku, 69 posto je odabralo SAD, dok je 17 posto odabralo Kinu. Gotovo jedna trećina rekla je da SAD koristi vojsku u previše situacija u kojima bi diplomacija bila bolja.

Pentagon se ove godine našao na udaru kritika zbog navodnog prihvaćanja ideologije 'antirasizma' i davanja prioriteta inicijativama socijalne pravde, kao što je ukidanje zabrane transrodnih trupa, umjesto borbene spremnosti. Kaotično povlačenje Bidenove administracije iz Afganistana, u kojem je ubijeno 13 američkih vojnika, a stotine američkih državljana ostavljeno na cjedilu u zemlji pod kontrolom talibana, izazvalo je još više bijesa javnosti.

Reaganovo istraživanje pokazalo je da 62 posto anketiranih Amerikanaca ne odobrava način na koji je riješen izlazak iz Afganistana. Gotovo polovica ispitanika krivila je Bidenovu lošu procjenu, dok je 20 posto navelo loše vojno planiranje.

Anketa je također pokazala sve manju podršku SAD-a za 'aktivno globalno vodstvo'. Samo 42 posto vjeruje da bi Amerika trebala biti 'više angažirana i preuzeti vodstvo' u svjetskim poslovima, u odnosu na 51 posto u veljači. Više od jednog u četiri Amerikanca želi da vojska smanji svoju prisutnost u inozemstvu i rasporedi trupe samo kao odgovor na agresiju.

Kina je velikom većinom identificirana kao najveća strana prijetnja SAD-u, s 52 posto, u odnosu na samo 21 posto prije tri godine. Više od sedam od 10 ispitanih Amerikanaca reklo je da vjeruje da je virus Covid-19 procurio iz kineskog laboratorija i da je Peking lagao kako bi ga prikrio. Strahovi oko Rusije naglo su opali, a 14 posto ispitanika smatra da je to najveća prijetnja, što je pad s 30 posto u 2018.

Povjerenje u američku vojsku toliko je opalo da većina Amerikanaca nema snažno povjerenje u svoje oružane snage, a trend se ubrzao otkako je Joe Biden preuzeo dužnost glavnog zapovjednika, pokazuju rezultati nove ankete. Samo 45 posto Amerikanaca ima 'veliko' povjerenje u svoju vojsku. Ovo je prvi put da je manje od polovice ispitanika u anketi izrazilo snažno povjerenje u vojnike.

Povjerenje javnosti palo je za 25 postotnih bodova, sa 70 posto, u posljednje tri godine. Rejting je pao za 11 bodova u samo posljednjih devet mjeseci, pod Bidenom, a brojke za druge institucije još su niže.
