Izrael će ubrzati gradnju podzemnog zida duž svoje granice s Pojasom Gaze i očekuje za dvije godine završiti taj objekt koji treba spriječiti palestinske borce da tunelima ulaze na područje Izraela, objavljeno je u četvrtak. 

Izrael smatra jednom od glavnih prijetnja za svoju sigurnost upravo tunele iskopane između Pojasa Gaze i izraelskog teritorija putem kojih prodiru borci islamističkog pokreta Hamas ili drugih palestinskih organizacija.
Tridesetak tunela uništeno je u ljeti 2014. u prvome ratu koji je Izrael poveo protiv Hamasa u Gazi, palestinskoj enklavi kojom Hamas upravlja od 2007., i koja je podvrgnuta izralskoj blokadi.

"Ubrzat ćemo gradnju te zapreke i nadamo se završiti je za dvije godine", rekao je general Eyal Zamir, zapovjednik vojne regije za jug. 

Zid će biti iskopan na izraelskom teritoriju paralelno sa sigurnosnim zidom koji zatvara Pojas Gaze na sjeveru i istoku. Zid visine šest metara sastojat će se od betonskih ploča i senzora i protezati na 64 kilometara. Na gradilištu već radi tisuću radnika, a troškovi se procjenjuju na oko 710 milijuna eura. 

Izraelski mediji prenijeli su da će se graditi i "pomorska barijera" u obliku doka na granici s Gazom. I ta će barijera biti opremljena senzorima kako bi se spriječio prodor Hamasovaca podvodnim putem. 

General Zamir je pritom upozorio da je Hamas taj koji kopa tunele ispod nastamba civila u Pojasu Gaze i "zato će on biti odgovoran budemo li morali napasti te ciljeve", koji su za Izrael "legitimne mete".

Izrael će ubrzati gradnju podzemnog zida duž svoje granice s Pojasom Gaze i očekuje za dvije godine završiti taj objekt koji treba spriječiti palestinske borce da tunelima ulaze na područje Izraela, objavljeno je u četvrtak. 

Izrael smatra jednom od glavnih prijetnja za svoju sigurnost upravo tunele iskopane između Pojasa Gaze i izraelskog teritorija putem kojih prodiru borci islamističkog pokreta Hamas ili drugih palestinskih organizacija.
Tridesetak tunela uništeno je u ljeti 2014. u prvome ratu koji je Izrael poveo protiv Hamasa u Gazi, palestinskoj enklavi kojom Hamas upravlja od 2007., i koja je podvrgnuta izralskoj blokadi.

"Ubrzat ćemo gradnju te zapreke i nadamo se završiti je za dvije godine", rekao je general Eyal Zamir, zapovjednik vojne regije za jug. 

Zid će biti iskopan na izraelskom teritoriju paralelno sa sigurnosnim zidom koji zatvara Pojas Gaze na sjeveru i istoku. Zid visine šest metara sastojat će se od betonskih ploča i senzora i protezati na 64 kilometara. Na gradilištu već radi tisuću radnika, a troškovi se procjenjuju na oko 710 milijuna eura. 

Izraelski mediji prenijeli su da će se graditi i "pomorska barijera" u obliku doka na granici s Gazom. I ta će barijera biti opremljena senzorima kako bi se spriječio prodor Hamasovaca podvodnim putem. 

General Zamir je pritom upozorio da je Hamas taj koji kopa tunele ispod nastamba civila u Pojasu Gaze i "zato će on biti odgovoran budemo li morali napasti te ciljeve", koji su za Izrael "legitimne mete".

Izrael će ubrzati gradnju podzemnog zida duž svoje granice s Pojasom Gaze i očekuje za dvije godine završiti taj objekt koji treba spriječiti palestinske borce da tunelima ulaze na područje Izraela, objavljeno je u četvrtak.
