Papa Franjo u petak je još jednom branio svoju odluku da dopusti blagoslov za istospolne parove, iako je pojasnio da Crkva i dalje smatra takve veze neispravnima i potencijalno grešnima, prenosi Newsweek.
U obraćanju članovima vatikanskog doktrinarnog odjela, Papa je rekao da blagoslovi ‘ne zahtijevaju moralno savršenstvo da bi bili primljeni‘ i da bi njihovo davanje istospolnim parovima konkretno pokazalo blizinu Gospodina i Crkve svima onima koji, u različitim situacijama, mole za pomoć da nastave - ponekad i započnu - put vjere.
Ovo je drugi put da je papa Franjo branio svoju odluku u javnosti, nakon što je to učinio u intervjuu za talijansku TV postaju 14. siječnja.
Dopuštenje Vatikana da daje blagoslov istospolnim parovima, objavljeno 18. prosinca, izazvalo je reakciju među nekim konzervativnih biskupa diljem svijeta koji su rekli da je taj potez heretički.
Početkom mjeseca, Vatikan je intervenirao kako bi obranio papinu odluku, pri čemu je Ured Svete Stolice za zaštitu doktrinarne ortodoksije – Dikasterij za doktrinu vjere – proglasio da blagoslov istospolnim parovima nije hereza.
Unatoč čvrstom stavu da biskupi ‘nemaju prostora‘ da se doktrinarno distanciraju od odluke, Ured je poručio da razumije da bi blagoslov istospolnih parova mogao biti neizvediv, pa čak i dovesti pojedince u opasnost, u zemljama u kojima se homoseksualnost smatra zločinom.
Biskupi dviju takvih zemalja, Zambije i Malavija, već su izjavili da u njihovim zemljama neće biti blagoslova za istospolne parove. U Zambiji se homoseksualni seks može kazniti kaznom od 15 godina zatvora do doživotne robije, dok se u Malaviju sankcionira sa zatvorom do 14 godina.
Unatoč otvorenosti koju je pokazao papa Franjo, jedan od najliberalnijih papa u novijoj povijesti Vatikana, Katolička crkva još uvijek službeno smatra istospolne veze potencijalno grešnima. Crkva i dalje ne dopušta brak između istospolnih parova.
To je istaknuto u govoru pape Franje u petak kada je govorio o blagoslovima.
"Kada se par spontano javi i traži ih, ne blagoslivlja se zajednica, nego jednostavno ljudi koji su to zajedno zatražili. Ne zajednica, nego osobe", rekao je.
Papa Bergoglio također je naglasio da se takvi blagoslovi ne bi trebali davati u liturgijskom kontekstu, već diskretno. Također je rekao da bi svećenici trebali, naravno, "uzeti u obzir kontekst regije mjesta gdje netko živi i pronaći najprikladniji način da to učine".

Papa Franjo u petak je još jednom branio svoju odluku da dopusti blagoslov za istospolne parove, iako je pojasnio da Crkva i dalje smatra takve veze neispravnima i potencijalno grešnima, prenosi Newsweek.
U obraćanju članovima vatikanskog doktrinarnog odjela, Papa je rekao da blagoslovi ‘ne zahtijevaju moralno savršenstvo da bi bili primljeni‘ i da bi njihovo davanje istospolnim parovima konkretno pokazalo blizinu Gospodina i Crkve svima onima koji, u različitim situacijama, mole za pomoć da nastave - ponekad i započnu - put vjere.
Ovo je drugi put da je papa Franjo branio svoju odluku u javnosti, nakon što je to učinio u intervjuu za talijansku TV postaju 14. siječnja.
Dopuštenje Vatikana da daje blagoslov istospolnim parovima, objavljeno 18. prosinca, izazvalo je reakciju među nekim konzervativnih biskupa diljem svijeta koji su rekli da je taj potez heretički.
Početkom mjeseca, Vatikan je intervenirao kako bi obranio papinu odluku, pri čemu je Ured Svete Stolice za zaštitu doktrinarne ortodoksije – Dikasterij za doktrinu vjere – proglasio da blagoslov istospolnim parovima nije hereza.
Unatoč čvrstom stavu da biskupi ‘nemaju prostora‘ da se doktrinarno distanciraju od odluke, Ured je poručio da razumije da bi blagoslov istospolnih parova mogao biti neizvediv, pa čak i dovesti pojedince u opasnost, u zemljama u kojima se homoseksualnost smatra zločinom.
Biskupi dviju takvih zemalja, Zambije i Malavija, već su izjavili da u njihovim zemljama neće biti blagoslova za istospolne parove. U Zambiji se homoseksualni seks može kazniti kaznom od 15 godina zatvora do doživotne robije, dok se u Malaviju sankcionira sa zatvorom do 14 godina.
Unatoč otvorenosti koju je pokazao papa Franjo, jedan od najliberalnijih papa u novijoj povijesti Vatikana, Katolička crkva još uvijek službeno smatra istospolne veze potencijalno grešnima. Crkva i dalje ne dopušta brak između istospolnih parova.
To je istaknuto u govoru pape Franje u petak kada je govorio o blagoslovima.
"Kada se par spontano javi i traži ih, ne blagoslivlja se zajednica, nego jednostavno ljudi koji su to zajedno zatražili. Ne zajednica, nego osobe", rekao je.
Papa Bergoglio također je naglasio da se takvi blagoslovi ne bi trebali davati u liturgijskom kontekstu, već diskretno. Također je rekao da bi svećenici trebali, naravno, "uzeti u obzir kontekst regije mjesta gdje netko živi i pronaći najprikladniji način da to učine".
