Litvanac Paulius Liškauskas već tri godine vježba gađanje, za slučaj potrebe. U razgovoru za DW ovaj 39-godišnjak kaže kako situacija nikad nije bila tako napeta kao sada.

Još 2014., kad je Rusija anektirala Krim i započela rat protiv Ukrajine, Paulius se pridružio Savezu litavskih strijelaca. Ruska propaganda već je tada spominjala Litvu.

- Znali smo, mi bismo mogli biti sljedeći - prisjeća se Paulius.

Uz njega još desetak muškaraca i jedna žena vježbaju gađanje. U zamračenoj prostoriji na prvom katu male kuće usred pješačke zone Marjanpole nalazi se paravan. Na njemu se prikazuje animacija s navodnim teroristima koji se skrivaju negdje iza zgrade. Oni su meta. Cijela bi stvar mogla izgledati kao bezopasna igrica da se iz zvučnika pri svakom pucnju ne čuje zastrašujuće stvaran vrisak. To podsjeća na pravi rat koji trenutno bjesni usred Europe.

Savez litavskih strijelaca svojevrsna je dopunska vojska. To su Litvanci koji redovno treniraju s oružjem i spremni su se boriti u slučaju nužde.

Paravojna udruga sumnjive tradicije

Savez ima dugu tradiciju i kontroverznu reputaciju. Osnovan početkom 20. stoljeća u borbi za litavsku neovisnost, surađivao je s nacistima tijekom Drugog svjetskog rata. Nakon pripojenja Litve SSSR-u, strijelci su se borili kao partizani protiv Sovjeta te su neki od njih postali žrtve Staljinova režima. Nakon proglašenja neovisnosti Litve 1990-ih, Savez je ponovo oformljen. Od početka rata u Ukrajini broj članova naglo je porastao – sada ih je 14 000.

Obitelj Pauliusa Liškauskasa živi na području koje se smatra posebno ugroženim u slučaju rata protiv Rusije - u takozvanoj Suvalki. Radi se o uskom pojasu zemlje koji povezuje Litvu s Poljskom, stiješnjenom između ruske eksklave Kalinjingrada na sjeverozapadu i ruskog saveznika Bjelorusije na jugoistoku. Dug je samo 65 kilometara zračne linije i to je jedina kopnena veza između baltičkih država i ostalih NATO partnera. Mnogi ovdje strahuju da bi Moskva mogla pokušati prekinuti ovu vezu. Strah od Rusije i odbojnost su duboki.

Te osjećaje dijeli i Paulius Liškauskas, koji inače radi kao odvjetnik, ali on ne poistovjećuje rusku politiku i obične ljude u Rusiji: "Imam ruske stranke s kojima još uvijek održavam kontakt. Ne osjećam nikakvu osobnu mržnju prema njima, nego prema njihovoj državi i ruskoj državnoj propagandi".

Tu odbojnost osjećaju na svojoj koži i Rusi koji putuju vlakom između Moskve i Kalinjingrada. Oni prolaze kroz litavsku prijestolnicu Vilnius. Iako ne smiju izaći iz vlaka, kroz prozore su suočeni s krvavim prizorima rata. I s pitanjem podržavaju li doista ruskog predsjednika Putina.

Ukrajinski rat - strah u Litvi​​

Gotovo pola stoljeća Litva i Rusija bile su dio jedne države - Sovjetskog Saveza. Nakon proglašenja neovisnosti Litva se pridružila NATO-u 2004. godine. Napetosti s Rusijom su posljednjih godina porasle.

Rat u Ukrajini je znak za uzbunu, kaže Laurinas Kasčiunas, zastupnik u litvanskom parlamentu. U razgovoru za DW on kaže da se Litva mora bolje pripremiti protiv moguće agresije Rusije.

- Imamo samo nekoliko godina za pripremu. Zato nam je potrebna veća prisutnost NATO-a kao pouzdano sredstvo odvraćanja - rekao je zastupnik.

Kad je počeo rat, u Litvi je bilo ljudi koji su se bojali i koji su htjeli napustiti zemlju, kaže politolog Tomas Janeliunas sa Sveučilišta u Vilniusu za DW. No, sada mnogi vide da je ruska vojska slabija nego što se mislilo. A spremnost Ukrajinaca da se brane je veća.

- Stvari poput rata u Ukrajini dobra su nam lekcija. Daju nam vremena da se pripremimo. Ukrajinci nam daju vremena. Moramo to vrijeme optimalno iskoristiti i pripremiti se - smatra politolog.

Litvanac Paulius Liškauskas već tri godine vježba gađanje, za slučaj potrebe. U razgovoru za DW ovaj 39-godišnjak kaže kako situacija nikad nije bila tako napeta kao sada.

Još 2014., kad je Rusija anektirala Krim i započela rat protiv Ukrajine, Paulius se pridružio Savezu litavskih strijelaca. Ruska propaganda već je tada spominjala Litvu.

- Znali smo, mi bismo mogli biti sljedeći - prisjeća se Paulius.

Uz njega još desetak muškaraca i jedna žena vježbaju gađanje. U zamračenoj prostoriji na prvom katu male kuće usred pješačke zone Marjanpole nalazi se paravan. Na njemu se prikazuje animacija s navodnim teroristima koji se skrivaju negdje iza zgrade. Oni su meta. Cijela bi stvar mogla izgledati kao bezopasna igrica da se iz zvučnika pri svakom pucnju ne čuje zastrašujuće stvaran vrisak. To podsjeća na pravi rat koji trenutno bjesni usred Europe.

Savez litavskih strijelaca svojevrsna je dopunska vojska. To su Litvanci koji redovno treniraju s oružjem i spremni su se boriti u slučaju nužde.

Paravojna udruga sumnjive tradicije

Savez ima dugu tradiciju i kontroverznu reputaciju. Osnovan početkom 20. stoljeća u borbi za litavsku neovisnost, surađivao je s nacistima tijekom Drugog svjetskog rata. Nakon pripojenja Litve SSSR-u, strijelci su se borili kao partizani protiv Sovjeta te su neki od njih postali žrtve Staljinova režima. Nakon proglašenja neovisnosti Litve 1990-ih, Savez je ponovo oformljen. Od početka rata u Ukrajini broj članova naglo je porastao – sada ih je 14 000.

Obitelj Pauliusa Liškauskasa živi na području koje se smatra posebno ugroženim u slučaju rata protiv Rusije - u takozvanoj Suvalki. Radi se o uskom pojasu zemlje koji povezuje Litvu s Poljskom, stiješnjenom između ruske eksklave Kalinjingrada na sjeverozapadu i ruskog saveznika Bjelorusije na jugoistoku. Dug je samo 65 kilometara zračne linije i to je jedina kopnena veza između baltičkih država i ostalih NATO partnera. Mnogi ovdje strahuju da bi Moskva mogla pokušati prekinuti ovu vezu. Strah od Rusije i odbojnost su duboki.

Te osjećaje dijeli i Paulius Liškauskas, koji inače radi kao odvjetnik, ali on ne poistovjećuje rusku politiku i obične ljude u Rusiji: "Imam ruske stranke s kojima još uvijek održavam kontakt. Ne osjećam nikakvu osobnu mržnju prema njima, nego prema njihovoj državi i ruskoj državnoj propagandi".

Tu odbojnost osjećaju na svojoj koži i Rusi koji putuju vlakom između Moskve i Kalinjingrada. Oni prolaze kroz litavsku prijestolnicu Vilnius. Iako ne smiju izaći iz vlaka, kroz prozore su suočeni s krvavim prizorima rata. I s pitanjem podržavaju li doista ruskog predsjednika Putina.

Ukrajinski rat - strah u Litvi​​

Gotovo pola stoljeća Litva i Rusija bile su dio jedne države - Sovjetskog Saveza. Nakon proglašenja neovisnosti Litva se pridružila NATO-u 2004. godine. Napetosti s Rusijom su posljednjih godina porasle.

Rat u Ukrajini je znak za uzbunu, kaže Laurinas Kasčiunas, zastupnik u litvanskom parlamentu. U razgovoru za DW on kaže da se Litva mora bolje pripremiti protiv moguće agresije Rusije.

- Imamo samo nekoliko godina za pripremu. Zato nam je potrebna veća prisutnost NATO-a kao pouzdano sredstvo odvraćanja - rekao je zastupnik.

Kad je počeo rat, u Litvi je bilo ljudi koji su se bojali i koji su htjeli napustiti zemlju, kaže politolog Tomas Janeliunas sa Sveučilišta u Vilniusu za DW. No, sada mnogi vide da je ruska vojska slabija nego što se mislilo. A spremnost Ukrajinaca da se brane je veća.

- Stvari poput rata u Ukrajini dobra su nam lekcija. Daju nam vremena da se pripremimo. Ukrajinci nam daju vremena. Moramo to vrijeme optimalno iskoristiti i pripremiti se - smatra politolog.

Litvanci očekuju napad Rusa: ‘Mi bismo mogli biti sljedeći. Ukrajinci nam daju vremena da se pripremimo‘

Litvanac Paulius Liškauskas već tri godine vježba gađanje, za slučaj potrebe. U razgovoru za DW ovaj 39-godišnjak kaže kako situacija nikad nije bila tako napeta kao sada.

Još 2014., kad je Rusija anektirala Krim i započela rat protiv Ukrajine, Paulius se pridružio Savezu litavskih strijelaca. Ruska propaganda već je tada spominjala Litvu.

- Znali smo, mi bismo mogli biti sljedeći - prisjeća se Paulius.

Uz njega još desetak muškaraca i jedna žena vježbaju gađanje. U zamračenoj prostoriji na prvom katu male kuće usred pješačke zone Marjanpole nalazi se paravan. Na njemu se prikazuje animacija s navodnim teroristima koji se skrivaju negdje iza zgrade. Oni su meta. Cijela bi stvar mogla izgledati kao bezopasna igrica da se iz zvučnika pri svakom pucnju ne čuje zastrašujuće stvar...
