Mianmar će prihvatiti pomoć "od svih strana" kako bi se pomoglo žrtvama ciklona koji je u subotu pogodio tu zemlju, rekao je u petak izaslanik Myanmara drugim članicama UN-a i potvrdio da je Mianmar odobrio slijetanje zrakoplova SAD-a koji donose pomoć.

Govoreći veleposlanicima pri UN-u nakon poziva UN-a, veleposlanik Kyaw Tint Swe je rekao da pretpostavlja da će prvi američki transportni zrakoplov C-130 doći u ponedjeljak.

UN je u petak zatražio od svoje 192 članice da osiguraju 187 milijuna dolara pomoći za 1,5 milijuna žrtava ciklona koji je pogodio Mianmar.

"Za ovaj poziv planiran je rok od šest mjeseci. Poziv će biti redovito ažuriran kako bi odražavao nove potrebe s obzirom na razvoj stanja", rekao je UN u dokumentu koji objašnjava zahtjev za pomoć.

Dokument kaže da je plan bio osigurati pomoć za najmanje 1,5 milijun ljudi za najmanje tri mjeseca, no u njemu se navodi i da glede operacije pomoći za Mianmar ima nepoznanica.

"Sadašnje teškoće u pristupu pogođenim područjima, teškoće u daljnjoj dostavi materijalne i stručne pomoći stvaraju nejasnoće pri planiranju", kaže se u dokumentu.

Mianmar će prihvatiti pomoć "od svih strana" kako bi se pomoglo žrtvama ciklona koji je u subotu pogodio tu zemlju, rekao je u petak izaslanik Myanmara drugim članicama UN-a i potvrdio da je Mianmar odobrio slijetanje zrakoplova SAD-a koji donose pomoć.

Govoreći veleposlanicima pri UN-u nakon poziva UN-a, veleposlanik Kyaw Tint Swe je rekao da pretpostavlja da će prvi američki transportni zrakoplov C-130 doći u ponedjeljak.

UN je u petak zatražio od svoje 192 članice da osiguraju 187 milijuna dolara pomoći za 1,5 milijuna žrtava ciklona koji je pogodio Mianmar.

"Za ovaj poziv planiran je rok od šest mjeseci. Poziv će biti redovito ažuriran kako bi odražavao nove potrebe s obzirom na razvoj stanja", rekao je UN u dokumentu koji objašnjava zahtjev za pomoć.

Dokument kaže da je plan bio osigurati pomoć za najmanje 1,5 milijun ljudi za najmanje tri mjeseca, no u njemu se navodi i da glede operacije pomoći za Mianmar ima nepoznanica.

"Sadašnje teškoće u pristupu pogođenim područjima, teškoće u daljnjoj dostavi materijalne i stručne pomoći stvaraju nejasnoće pri planiranju", kaže se u dokumentu.
