Filipinska obalna straža i spasilačke službe nastavili su u subotu provoditi akciju spašavanja tisuća ljudi u sjevernoj provinciji koju je poplavio tajfun Vamco, najsmrtonosniji ciklon u ovoj godini.

Deseci gradova u regiji Cagayan, sjeverno od glavnog grada Manile su poplavljeni, a ugroženo je na tisuće obitelji od kojih su se mnoge popele na krove kuća, sklanjajući se od poplava koje dosižu visinu dvokatnice, rekli su dužnosnici.

Obalna straža poslala je rano u subotu u grad Tuguegarao spasilačke timove opremljene vozilima i gumenim čamcima a pomoć još trebaju poslati u obližnje provincije, rekao je zapovjednik obalne straže George Ursabia.

Gradonačelnik Jefferson Soriano rekao je za radio DZMM kako će trebati više od tjedan dana da se povuku poplave ako ne bude novih kiša. Pristup tom gradu u kojem živi 163 tisuće ljudi odsječen je zbog poplavljenih cesta, dodao je.

Stanovnici na društvenim mrežama objavljuju fotografije i lokacije s molbama za spašavanje. Hashtag #CagayanNeedsHelp bio je vodeća tema na Tweeteru s više od dva milijuna tweetova.

"Već se treći dan nalazimo na krovu. Trebamo pomoć i odjeću jer ništa nismo uspjeli spasiti", rekao je Ramilo Lagundi za radio DZBB, dodavši da je on jedan od stotina drugih susjeda koji se nalaze na krovovima.

Vamco, 21. ciklon koji je u ovoj godini pogodio Filipine usmrtio je najmanje 42 ljudi.

Filipinska obalna straža i spasilačke službe nastavili su u subotu provoditi akciju spašavanja tisuća ljudi u sjevernoj provinciji koju je poplavio tajfun Vamco, najsmrtonosniji ciklon u ovoj godini.

Deseci gradova u regiji Cagayan, sjeverno od glavnog grada Manile su poplavljeni, a ugroženo je na tisuće obitelji od kojih su se mnoge popele na krove kuća, sklanjajući se od poplava koje dosižu visinu dvokatnice, rekli su dužnosnici.

Obalna straža poslala je rano u subotu u grad Tuguegarao spasilačke timove opremljene vozilima i gumenim čamcima a pomoć još trebaju poslati u obližnje provincije, rekao je zapovjednik obalne straže George Ursabia.

Gradonačelnik Jefferson Soriano rekao je za radio DZMM kako će trebati više od tjedan dana da se povuku poplave ako ne bude novih kiša. Pristup tom gradu u kojem živi 163 tisuće ljudi odsječen je zbog poplavljenih cesta, dodao je.

Stanovnici na društvenim mrežama objavljuju fotografije i lokacije s molbama za spašavanje. Hashtag #CagayanNeedsHelp bio je vodeća tema na Tweeteru s više od dva milijuna tweetova.

"Već se treći dan nalazimo na krovu. Trebamo pomoć i odjeću jer ništa nismo uspjeli spasiti", rekao je Ramilo Lagundi za radio DZBB, dodavši da je on jedan od stotina drugih susjeda koji se nalaze na krovovima.

Vamco, 21. ciklon koji je u ovoj godini pogodio Filipine usmrtio je najmanje 42 ljudi.

Na tisuće ljudi pogođeno tajfunom na Filipinima, najmanje 42 poginulih

Filipinska obalna straža i spasilačke službe nastavili su u subotu provoditi akciju spašavanja tisuća ljudi u sjevernoj provinciji koju je poplavio tajfun Vamco, najsmrtonosniji ciklon u ovoj godini.

Deseci gradova u regiji Cagayan, sjeverno od glavnog grada Manile su poplavljeni, a ugroženo je na tisuće obitelji od kojih su se mnoge popele na krove kuća, sklanjajući se od poplava koje dosižu visinu dvokatnice, rekli su dužnosnici.

Obalna straža poslala je rano u subotu u grad Tuguegarao spasilačke timove opremljene vozilima i gumenim čamcima a pomoć još trebaju poslati u obližnje provincije, rekao je zapovjednik obalne straže George Ursabia.

Gradonačelnik Jefferson Soriano rekao je za radio DZMM kako će trebati više od tjedan dana da se povuku poplave ako ne bude novih...
