jedna od najvećih takvih operacija u povijesti, počela je u ponedjeljak,
javljaju svjetske novinske agencije.
Radnici polako podižu brod pumpajući zrak u spremnike
pričvršćene na brod. Operacija će trajati šest do sedam dana, a brod će
nakon toga biti otegljen u Genovu gdje će ga rastaviti.
Concordia je udarila u greben kraj talijanskog otoka Giglio u siječnju 2012. godine. U toj nesreći život su izgubile 32 osobe.
U rujnu prošle godine brod je djelomično uspravljen, ali je dijelom još pod vodom, i oslonjen je na šest čeličnih platformi.
"Ovo je vrlo složena operacija", rekao je u nedjelju novinarima
Franco Gabrielli, šef civilne zaštite koji nadgleda izvlačenje, a
prenosi BBC.
"Prvi dio operacije bit će najopasniji jer će brod odvojiti od platformi", objasnio je.
Planira se da se brod težak 114.500 tona podigne, a potom otegli do brodogradilišta u kojemu je izgrađen.
"Najkritičnija faza bit će prvog dana, kada olupina bude prvi
put podignuta. Nikada ranije nije pokušano izvlačenje putničkog broda te
veličine", izjavio je za agenciju France Presse Južnoafrikanac Nick
Sloane koji vodi ovu operaciju.
U najgorem mogućem scenariju, neki upozoravaju da bi se olupina prilikom podizanja mogla raspasti.
"Riječ je o gradu na vodi, izgrađenom za tisuće putnika, s
litrama zagađivača kao što su ulja, deterdženti i otpadne kemikalije
koje se i dalje nalaze u njegovoj unutrašnjosti", upozorava Giorgia
Monti iz ekološke organizacije Greenpeace, koja šalje promatrački tim da
prati operaciju.
Troškovi izvlačenja potonulog broda do sada su procijenjeni na oko 1,1 milijardu eura.
Protiv kapetana Coste Concordije Francesca Schettina trenutno se
vodi sudski postupak pod optužbom da je izazvao brodolom i napustio
brod prije nego što su svi putnici evakuirani.
Tijelo jedne od žrtava, indijskog konobara Russela Rebella, još
nije nađeno, a moguće je da će njegovi ostaci biti pronađeni tijekom
izvlačenja olupine.

[text] => {OCMSplitter}Operacija podizanja nasukanog talijanskog kruzera Coste Concordije,
jedna od najvećih takvih operacija u povijesti, počela je u ponedjeljak,
javljaju svjetske novinske agencije.
Radnici polako podižu brod pumpajući zrak u spremnike
pričvršćene na brod. Operacija će trajati šest do sedam dana, a brod će
nakon toga biti otegljen u Genovu gdje će ga rastaviti.
Concordia je udarila u greben kraj talijanskog otoka Giglio u siječnju 2012. godine. U toj nesreći život su izgubile 32 osobe.
U rujnu prošle godine brod je djelomično uspravljen, ali je dijelom još pod vodom, i oslonjen je na šest čeličnih platformi.
"Ovo je vrlo složena operacija", rekao je u nedjelju novinarima
Franco Gabrielli, šef civilne zaštite koji nadgleda izvlačenje, a
prenosi BBC.
"Prvi dio operacije bit će najopasniji jer će brod odvojiti od platformi", objasnio je.
Planira se da se brod težak 114.500 tona podigne, a potom otegli do brodogradilišta u kojemu je izgrađen.
"Najkritičnija faza bit će prvog dana, kada olupina bude prvi
put podignuta. Nikada ranije nije pokušano izvlačenje putničkog broda te
veličine", izjavio je za agenciju France Presse Južnoafrikanac Nick
Sloane koji vodi ovu operaciju.
U najgorem mogućem scenariju, neki upozoravaju da bi se olupina prilikom podizanja mogla raspasti.
"Riječ je o gradu na vodi, izgrađenom za tisuće putnika, s
litrama zagađivača kao što su ulja, deterdženti i otpadne kemikalije
koje se i dalje nalaze u njegovoj unutrašnjosti", upozorava Giorgia
Monti iz ekološke organizacije Greenpeace, koja šalje promatrački tim da
prati operaciju.
Troškovi izvlačenja potonulog broda do sada su procijenjeni na oko 1,1 milijardu eura.
Protiv kapetana Coste Concordije Francesca Schettina trenutno se
vodi sudski postupak pod optužbom da je izazvao brodolom i napustio
brod prije nego što su svi putnici evakuirani.
Tijelo jedne od žrtava, indijskog konobara Russela Rebella, još
nije nađeno, a moguće je da će njegovi ostaci biti pronađeni tijekom
izvlačenja olupine.
