Putnici pod zaštitnim maskama u Pekingu i Šangaju u ponedjeljak su prepunili vlakove podzemne željeznice, a dva najveća kineska grada sve su bliža životu s covidom-19, dok su milijuni ljudi širom zemlje zaraženi koronavirusom čije je širenje uglavnom nekontrolirano.

Nakon tri godine nemilosrdnih ograničenja u borbi protiv koronavirusa, predsjednik Xi Jinping ovaj je mjesec ukinuo državnu politiku nulte tolerancije na covid-19, zatvaranja i neumoljiva testiranja, suočen s prosvjedima i širenjem epidemije.

Zdravstveni stručnjaci i stanovnici zabrinuti su da kineska statistika, koja pokazuje da u šest dana do nedjelje nije zabilježen nijedan novi smrtni slučaj od covida, ne odražava stvarni broj smrtnih slučajeva i da je krhki zdravstveni sustav zemlje preopterećen.

Nakon početnog šoka zbog zaokreta politike i nekoliko tjedana u kojima su stanovnici Pekinga i Šangaja ostajali u kućama, suočavajući s bolešću ili je pokušavajući izbjeći, postoje znakovi da je život na putu da se vrati bliže normali.

Vlakovi podzemne željeznice u Pekingu i Šangaju su prepuni, dok su neke glavne prometne arterije u tim dvama gradovima u ponedjeljak zakrčene sporim automobilima stanovnika koji putuju na posao.

"Spreman sam živjeti s pandemijom", rekao je 25-godišnji stanovnik Šangaja Lin Zixin te dodao da "zatvaranje nije dugoročno rješenje".

Ove godine, u nastojanju da se spriječi da infekcija izmakne kontroli širom zemlje, 25 milijuna ljudi u kineskom trgovačkom središtu izdržalo je dva mjeseca gorke izolacije pod strogim karantenama koje su trajale do 1. lipnja.

Živahne ulice Šangaja u oštrom su kontrastu s atmosferom u travnju i svibnju, kada se vani jedva itko mogao vidjeti.

Godišnji božićni sajam koji se održava u Bundu, komercijalnom području u Šangaju, bio je popularan među stanovnicima grada tijekom vikenda. Mnoštvo se u nedjelju okupilo tijekom zimske blagdanske sezone u šangajskom Disneylandu i pekinškom Universal Studiosu, čekajući u redu za vožnju u odjeći s božićnim motivima.

Broj putovanja na slikovita mjesta u južnom gradu Guangzhou ovog se vikenda povećao za 132 posto u odnosu na prošli vikend, izvijestio je lokalni list The 21st Century Business Herald.

"Sada su se uglavnom svi vratili normalnoj rutini", rekao je 29-godišnji stanovnik Pekinga prezimenom Han dodajući da je "napeta atmosfera prošla".

Kina je posljednja velika zemlja koja je počela tretirati covid kao endemski. Njezine mjere obuzdavanja usporile su gospodarstvo na najnižu stopu rasta u gotovo pola stoljeća, poremetivši globalne opskrbne lance i trgovinu.

Očekuje se da će drugo najveće svjetsko gospodarstvo kratkoročno još više patiti, kako se val covida širi prema proizvodnim područjima i radna snaga obolijeva, prije oporavka sljedeće godine, kažu analitičari.

Putnici pod zaštitnim maskama u Pekingu i Šangaju u ponedjeljak su prepunili vlakove podzemne željeznice, a dva najveća kineska grada sve su bliža životu s covidom-19, dok su milijuni ljudi širom zemlje zaraženi koronavirusom čije je širenje uglavnom nekontrolirano.

Nakon tri godine nemilosrdnih ograničenja u borbi protiv koronavirusa, predsjednik Xi Jinping ovaj je mjesec ukinuo državnu politiku nulte tolerancije na covid-19, zatvaranja i neumoljiva testiranja, suočen s prosvjedima i širenjem epidemije.

Zdravstveni stručnjaci i stanovnici zabrinuti su da kineska statistika, koja pokazuje da u šest dana do nedjelje nije zabilježen nijedan novi smrtni slučaj od covida, ne odražava stvarni broj smrtnih slučajeva i da je krhki zdravstveni sustav zemlje preopterećen.

Nakon početnog šoka zbog zaokreta politike i nekoliko tjedana u kojima su stanovnici Pekinga i Šangaja ostajali u kućama, suočavajući s bolešću ili je pokušavajući izbjeći, postoje znakovi da je život na putu da se vrati bliže normali.

Vlakovi podzemne željeznice u Pekingu i Šangaju su prepuni, dok su neke glavne prometne arterije u tim dvama gradovima u ponedjeljak zakrčene sporim automobilima stanovnika koji putuju na posao.

"Spreman sam živjeti s pandemijom", rekao je 25-godišnji stanovnik Šangaja Lin Zixin te dodao da "zatvaranje nije dugoročno rješenje".

Ove godine, u nastojanju da se spriječi da infekcija izmakne kontroli širom zemlje, 25 milijuna ljudi u kineskom trgovačkom središtu izdržalo je dva mjeseca gorke izolacije pod strogim karantenama koje su trajale do 1. lipnja.

Živahne ulice Šangaja u oštrom su kontrastu s atmosferom u travnju i svibnju, kada se vani jedva itko mogao vidjeti.

Godišnji božićni sajam koji se održava u Bundu, komercijalnom području u Šangaju, bio je popularan među stanovnicima grada tijekom vikenda. Mnoštvo se u nedjelju okupilo tijekom zimske blagdanske sezone u šangajskom Disneylandu i pekinškom Universal Studiosu, čekajući u redu za vožnju u odjeći s božićnim motivima.

Broj putovanja na slikovita mjesta u južnom gradu Guangzhou ovog se vikenda povećao za 132 posto u odnosu na prošli vikend, izvijestio je lokalni list The 21st Century Business Herald.

"Sada su se uglavnom svi vratili normalnoj rutini", rekao je 29-godišnji stanovnik Pekinga prezimenom Han dodajući da je "napeta atmosfera prošla".

Kina je posljednja velika zemlja koja je počela tretirati covid kao endemski. Njezine mjere obuzdavanja usporile su gospodarstvo na najnižu stopu rasta u gotovo pola stoljeća, poremetivši globalne opskrbne lance i trgovinu.

Očekuje se da će drugo najveće svjetsko gospodarstvo kratkoročno još više patiti, kako se val covida širi prema proizvodnim područjima i radna snaga obolijeva, prije oporavka sljedeće godine, kažu analitičari.
