Kineske vlasti ponovile su kako će i dalje ostati predane svojoj dugotrajnoj politici nulte toleranciji prema zarazi virusom COVID-19, i to unatoč rastućoj frustraciji javnosti zbog strogih mjera koje koštaju živote upravo one koje su trebale zaštititi, piše CNN, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Neprovjerene glasine o kineskom napuštanju strategije dovele su do skoka kineskih dionica prošlog tjedna, no već na konferenciji za novinare u subotu kineski zdravstveni dužnosnici opovrgnuli su te vijesti i poručili kako se politika nulte tolerancije na COVID nastavlja.

"Praksa je dokazala da su naša politika prevencije i kontrole pandemije, kao i niz strateških mjera potpuno ispravni, najekonomičniji i učinkovitiji. Trebali bismo se pridržavati načela stavljanja ljudi i života na prvo mjesto, te šire strategije sprječavanja ulaska virusa izvana", rekao je Hu Xiang, dužnosnik za kontrolu bolesti.

Obećanje da će se držati politike nulte razine tolerancije, došlo je kao veliko razočaranje za kinesku javnost, koja je sve umornija od neprestanih masovnih testiranja i strogih karantena – koja ponekad traju mjesecima. Budući da nove varijante virusa, koje se brzo šire, čine obuzdavanje virusa gotovo nemogućim, scenarij u kojem će kineske vlasti proglasiti kraj epidemije, čini se, barem u izgledno vrijeme, malo vjerojatan, piše CNN

Javna frustracija i ogorčenost naroda porasli su posljednjih tjedana, i to nakon što je vrhovni čelnik Xi Jinping započeo svoj treći mandat.

Smrt u karanteni

U petak je 55-godišnja žena pala u smrt s 12. kata iz zaključanog stambenog kompleksa u Hohhotu, glavni grad kineske autonomne regije Unutrašnja Mongolija, na sjeveru države. Kompleks je zatvoren krajem listopada nakon što su prijavljena dva slučaja zaraze, a ulaz u njezinu zgradu bio je ograđen visokim barikadama.

U audio poruci koja se proširila u javnosti može se čuti ženina kći kako lupa po barikadama i očajnički vapi za pomoć, moleći radnike da otključaju ulazna vrata.

Na drugoj snimci vidi se kako kćer kleči i plače pored svoje majke, koja nepomično leži na zemlji, i dalje s maskom na licu.

Strašne scene izazvale su negodovanje diljem zemlje. Lokalna policija je u priopćenju rekla da je žena, koja je živjela sa svojom 29-godišnjom kćeri, patila od anksioznih poremećaja.

Ženina smrt samo je jedna u nizu za koje se vjeruje da im uzrok leži u drakonskim karantenama diljem zemlje. Bijes diljem zemlje ranije je izazvala smrt trogodišnjeg dječaka, koji je umro je od trovanja plinom u srijedu u zatvorenom kompleksu u sjeverozapadnom gradu Lanzhou.

Istovremeno, stručnjaci upozoravaju da bi Kinu mogao pogoditi novi val infekcija – a time i nova runda zatvaranja u karantene – kako se približava zima.

Više od jedne trećine novih infekcija zabilježeno je u Guangzhou. U gradu od 19 milijuna zabilježen je najveći broj zaraženih od početka pandemije, a veliki dijelovi tamošnje četvrti Haizhu stavljeni su pod karantenu. Na tiskovnoj konferenciji u nedjelju, dužnosnici su već optužili dio stanovnika za širenje virusa za koje tvrdi da su prekršili pravila karantene.

I kineske elite se bune

Čak i na mjestima koja nisu pod karantenama, stalne odredbe o testiranju na Covid i stroga ograničenja putovanja potiču rastuće nezadovoljstvo, piše CNN.

U Pekingu su primjerice vlasti zadržale stroge uvjete za ulazak u kinesku prijestolnicu – domu većine viših kineskih čelnika. Ograničenja su dodatno pooštrena uoči kongresa Komunističke partije u listopadu i od tada nisu ublažena.

Najbolji indikator javnog nezadovoljstva jest činjenica kako među onima koji su se izjasnili protiv ograničenja su i pripadnici političke elite i nacionalistički utjecajni ljudi. Tao Siliang, kći Tao Zhua, bivšeg člana vrhovnog Stalnog odbora Politbiroa Komunističke partije, kritizirala je ograničenja putovanja u Pekingu nakon što joj je zabranjen povratak kući nakon putovanja u istočnu pokrajinu Zhejiang.

- Dugo sam bila pribrana osoba, ali ovaj put sam se uspaničila jer sam prvi put osjetila gubitak i bespomoćnost nemogućnosti povratka u svoj dom - napisala je 81-godišnjakinja na društvenim mrežama.

Problemi povratka u Peking pokazali su se čak i prevelikim za Zhou Xiaopinga, žestokog nacionalista, antiameričkog blogera kojeg je Xi hvalio na konferenciji o umjetnosti i književnosti 2014. U nizu objava na blogu Weibu, otvoreno je preispitivao dalekosežna ograničenja putovanja i kritizirao propagandne napore koji preuveličavaju smrtnost od Covida u inozemstvu.

"Koji je smisao ovoga? Cijena prevencije epidemije nije samo ekonomska cijena, tu su i troškovi naših života. Pošto ste zakleli staviti ljude na prvo mjesto, morate početi sagledavati činjenice", napisao je u objavi koja je, očekivano, brzo uklonjena, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Kineske vlasti ponovile su kako će i dalje ostati predane svojoj dugotrajnoj politici nulte toleranciji prema zarazi virusom COVID-19, i to unatoč rastućoj frustraciji javnosti zbog strogih mjera koje koštaju živote upravo one koje su trebale zaštititi, piše CNN, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Neprovjerene glasine o kineskom napuštanju strategije dovele su do skoka kineskih dionica prošlog tjedna, no već na konferenciji za novinare u subotu kineski zdravstveni dužnosnici opovrgnuli su te vijesti i poručili kako se politika nulte tolerancije na COVID nastavlja.

"Praksa je dokazala da su naša politika prevencije i kontrole pandemije, kao i niz strateških mjera potpuno ispravni, najekonomičniji i učinkovitiji. Trebali bismo se pridržavati načela stavljanja ljudi i života na prvo mjesto, te šire strategije sprječavanja ulaska virusa izvana", rekao je Hu Xiang, dužnosnik za kontrolu bolesti.

Obećanje da će se držati politike nulte razine tolerancije, došlo je kao veliko razočaranje za kinesku javnost, koja je sve umornija od neprestanih masovnih testiranja i strogih karantena – koja ponekad traju mjesecima. Budući da nove varijante virusa, koje se brzo šire, čine obuzdavanje virusa gotovo nemogućim, scenarij u kojem će kineske vlasti proglasiti kraj epidemije, čini se, barem u izgledno vrijeme, malo vjerojatan, piše CNN

Javna frustracija i ogorčenost naroda porasli su posljednjih tjedana, i to nakon što je vrhovni čelnik Xi Jinping započeo svoj treći mandat.

Smrt u karanteni

U petak je 55-godišnja žena pala u smrt s 12. kata iz zaključanog stambenog kompleksa u Hohhotu, glavni grad kineske autonomne regije Unutrašnja Mongolija, na sjeveru države. Kompleks je zatvoren krajem listopada nakon što su prijavljena dva slučaja zaraze, a ulaz u njezinu zgradu bio je ograđen visokim barikadama.

U audio poruci koja se proširila u javnosti može se čuti ženina kći kako lupa po barikadama i očajnički vapi za pomoć, moleći radnike da otključaju ulazna vrata.

Na drugoj snimci vidi se kako kćer kleči i plače pored svoje majke, koja nepomično leži na zemlji, i dalje s maskom na licu.

Strašne scene izazvale su negodovanje diljem zemlje. Lokalna policija je u priopćenju rekla da je žena, koja je živjela sa svojom 29-godišnjom kćeri, patila od anksioznih poremećaja.

Ženina smrt samo je jedna u nizu za koje se vjeruje da im uzrok leži u drakonskim karantenama diljem zemlje. Bijes diljem zemlje ranije je izazvala smrt trogodišnjeg dječaka, koji je umro je od trovanja plinom u srijedu u zatvorenom kompleksu u sjeverozapadnom gradu Lanzhou.

Istovremeno, stručnjaci upozoravaju da bi Kinu mogao pogoditi novi val infekcija – a time i nova runda zatvaranja u karantene – kako se približava zima.

Više od jedne trećine novih infekcija zabilježeno je u Guangzhou. U gradu od 19 milijuna zabilježen je najveći broj zaraženih od početka pandemije, a veliki dijelovi tamošnje četvrti Haizhu stavljeni su pod karantenu. Na tiskovnoj konferenciji u nedjelju, dužnosnici su već optužili dio stanovnika za širenje virusa za koje tvrdi da su prekršili pravila karantene.

I kineske elite se bune

Čak i na mjestima koja nisu pod karantenama, stalne odredbe o testiranju na Covid i stroga ograničenja putovanja potiču rastuće nezadovoljstvo, piše CNN.

U Pekingu su primjerice vlasti zadržale stroge uvjete za ulazak u kinesku prijestolnicu – domu većine viših kineskih čelnika. Ograničenja su dodatno pooštrena uoči kongresa Komunističke partije u listopadu i od tada nisu ublažena.

Najbolji indikator javnog nezadovoljstva jest činjenica kako među onima koji su se izjasnili protiv ograničenja su i pripadnici političke elite i nacionalistički utjecajni ljudi. Tao Siliang, kći Tao Zhua, bivšeg člana vrhovnog Stalnog odbora Politbiroa Komunističke partije, kritizirala je ograničenja putovanja u Pekingu nakon što joj je zabranjen povratak kući nakon putovanja u istočnu pokrajinu Zhejiang.

- Dugo sam bila pribrana osoba, ali ovaj put sam se uspaničila jer sam prvi put osjetila gubitak i bespomoćnost nemogućnosti povratka u svoj dom - napisala je 81-godišnjakinja na društvenim mrežama.

Problemi povratka u Peking pokazali su se čak i prevelikim za Zhou Xiaopinga, žestokog nacionalista, antiameričkog blogera kojeg je Xi hvalio na konferenciji o umjetnosti i književnosti 2014. U nizu objava na blogu Weibu, otvoreno je preispitivao dalekosežna ograničenja putovanja i kritizirao propagandne napore koji preuveličavaju smrtnost od Covida u inozemstvu.

"Koji je smisao ovoga? Cijena prevencije epidemije nije samo ekonomska cijena, tu su i troškovi naših života. Pošto ste zakleli staviti ljude na prvo mjesto, morate početi sagledavati činjenice", napisao je u objavi koja je, očekivano, brzo uklonjena, prenosi Jutarnji list.
