Bivši vojni zapovjednik bosanskih Srba Ratko Mladić, koji u Haagu služi doživotnu kaznu zatvora za ratne zločine, hospitaliziran je i u "lošem je zdravstvenom stanju", rekao je AFP-u njegov sin Darko Mladić.
U kratkome telefonskom razgovoru za AFP u Beogradu Darko Mladić je potvrdio informaciju tamošnjim medijima. Kazao im je da je bivši general zbog krhkoga zdravstvenog stanja već tjedan hospitaliziran. Najprije je bio u civilnoj bolnici u Haagu, a od četvrtka se nalazi u zatvorskoj zdravstvenoj ustanovi Međunarodnoga rezidualnog mehanizma za kaznene sudove (MTPI) sa sjedištem u Haagu.
"Zdravstveno stanje mu je loše. Ovdje u Srbiji spreman je tim liječnika koji bi ga mogao otići vidjeti, no još ne znamo hoće li im biti dopušteno. Tražit ćemo dopuštenje da ga pregledaju upravo ovi liječnici", rekao je Mladić za AFP.
Službe MTPI-ja su, na pitanje AFP-a da komentiraju informacije odgovorile kako "ne mogu komentirati zdravstveno stanje uhićenika jer se radi o povjerljivim informacijama".
MTPI je u lipnju 2021. potvrdio doživotnu zatvorsku kaznu Ratku Mladiću za genocid, za zločine protiv čovječnosti i za ratne zločine počinjene tijekom sukoba među zajednicama u Bosni od 1992. do 1995. godine.
Proglašen je krivim za genocid zbog svoje uloge u masakru u Srebrenici, kada su snage bosanskih Srba u srpnju 1995. ubile oko 8000 muslimanskih muškaraca i tinejdžera.
Darko Mladić je za nekoliko medija u Srbiji i BiH rekao da njegov otac boluje od "upale pluća, nakupljanja tekućine u plućima i zatajenja srca".
"Ne znamo koji su uzroci zatajenja srca i je li Ratko Mladić možda doživio lakši srčani udar. Nismo dobili rezultate pretraga", rekao je njegov sin za srbijanske Novosti.
Prema istome izvoru, haški osuđenik je početkom kolovoza imao covid, ali "bez ozbiljnijih simptoma".
Darko Mladić kaže da se od svibnja zdravstveno stanje njegova oca "dramatično pogoršalo". "U teškoj je situaciji i čini mi se da je životno ugrožen. Ne može samostalno funkcionirati i treba mu skrbnik", rekao je.
Ruski medicinski stručnjaci, na čije se izjave 2016. pozivala Mladićeva obrana za vrijeme suđenja kažu da je on u prošlosti imao nekoliko lakših moždanih udara koji su prouzročili propadanje živčanog sustava.

Bivši vojni zapovjednik bosanskih Srba Ratko Mladić, koji u Haagu služi doživotnu kaznu zatvora za ratne zločine, hospitaliziran je i u "lošem je zdravstvenom stanju", rekao je AFP-u njegov sin Darko Mladić.
U kratkome telefonskom razgovoru za AFP u Beogradu Darko Mladić je potvrdio informaciju tamošnjim medijima. Kazao im je da je bivši general zbog krhkoga zdravstvenog stanja već tjedan hospitaliziran. Najprije je bio u civilnoj bolnici u Haagu, a od četvrtka se nalazi u zatvorskoj zdravstvenoj ustanovi Međunarodnoga rezidualnog mehanizma za kaznene sudove (MTPI) sa sjedištem u Haagu.
"Zdravstveno stanje mu je loše. Ovdje u Srbiji spreman je tim liječnika koji bi ga mogao otići vidjeti, no još ne znamo hoće li im biti dopušteno. Tražit ćemo dopuštenje da ga pregledaju upravo ovi liječnici", rekao je Mladić za AFP.
Službe MTPI-ja su, na pitanje AFP-a da komentiraju informacije odgovorile kako "ne mogu komentirati zdravstveno stanje uhićenika jer se radi o povjerljivim informacijama".
MTPI je u lipnju 2021. potvrdio doživotnu zatvorsku kaznu Ratku Mladiću za genocid, za zločine protiv čovječnosti i za ratne zločine počinjene tijekom sukoba među zajednicama u Bosni od 1992. do 1995. godine.
Proglašen je krivim za genocid zbog svoje uloge u masakru u Srebrenici, kada su snage bosanskih Srba u srpnju 1995. ubile oko 8000 muslimanskih muškaraca i tinejdžera.
Darko Mladić je za nekoliko medija u Srbiji i BiH rekao da njegov otac boluje od "upale pluća, nakupljanja tekućine u plućima i zatajenja srca".
"Ne znamo koji su uzroci zatajenja srca i je li Ratko Mladić možda doživio lakši srčani udar. Nismo dobili rezultate pretraga", rekao je njegov sin za srbijanske Novosti.
Prema istome izvoru, haški osuđenik je početkom kolovoza imao covid, ali "bez ozbiljnijih simptoma".
Darko Mladić kaže da se od svibnja zdravstveno stanje njegova oca "dramatično pogoršalo". "U teškoj je situaciji i čini mi se da je životno ugrožen. Ne može samostalno funkcionirati i treba mu skrbnik", rekao je.
Ruski medicinski stručnjaci, na čije se izjave 2016. pozivala Mladićeva obrana za vrijeme suđenja kažu da je on u prošlosti imao nekoliko lakših moždanih udara koji su prouzročili propadanje živčanog sustava.
