Značaj nuklearne energije mogao bi dramatično porasti tijekom idućih desetljeća, javlja DW.

Taj zaključak proizilazi iz studije Međunarodne agencije za atomsku energiju (IAEA). Naime, IAEA je prvi put revidirao svoju prognozu globalnog razvoja nuklearne energije.

Kako bi u borbi protiv klimatskih promjena izbjegle korištenje fosilnih goriva, mnoge zemlje razmatraju jačanje uloge nuklearki u proizvodnji energije.

Maksimalni kapacitet nuklearnih elektrana u svijetu bi se, prema procjenama ove organizacije sa sjedištem u Beču, do 2050. mogao udvostručiti do 792 gigavata. To je deset posto više u odnosu na prognoze predstavljene prošle godine. To bi se, smatraju u IAEA, moglo postići samo novim tehnologijama u nuklearnom sektoru. U to spadaju proizvodnja vodika kao i upotreba naprednijih reaktora. Po konzervativnom scenariju IAEA, proizvodni kapaciteti bi mogli ostati više-manje isti, na 392 gigavata.

Prošle godine je u nuklearkama proizvedeno oko 10 posto svjetske struje. Po maksimalnom scenariju IAEA, taj udio bi 2050. godine mogao biti nešto veći, oko 12 posto. Deset godina nakon havarije u Fukušimi, neke zemlje ulažu milijarde u nuklearne elektrane manjeg formata.

Predsjednik Udruženja poslodavaca iz sektora metalne industrije (Gesamtmetall), Stefan Wolf, zalaže se za povratak Njemačke nuklearnoj energiji.

- U idućim godinama, ne samo zbog sve veće elektromobilnosti, imat ćemo povećanu potražnju za električnom energijom, a u isto vrijeme odustajemo od ugljena i ne možemo dovoljnom brzinom graditi potrebne vjetroelektrane - izjavio je Wolf za tabloid njemački tabloid Bild. Stoga se, kako je rekao, sada mora raspravljati o povratku nuklearnoj energiji.

- Ne možemo postati potpuno ovisni o drugim zemljama, od kojih ćemo nuklearnu i električnu energiju kupovati po visokim cijenama - rekao je Wolf.

I Christian Kullmann, šef kemijskog koncerna Evonik i predsjednik Njemačkog udruženja kemijske industrije (VCI), također je kritičan prema mogućnosti povećanja uvoza električne energije.

- Tu se postavlja pitanje trebamo li više koristiti nuklearnu energiju - barem dok ne budemo imali osiguranu temeljnu vlastitu opskrbu, jer ako postanemo ovisni o uvozu, to će biti jako skupo - rekao je u intervjuu za "Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung".

Čak i aktivistica za zaštitu klime Greta Thunberg vidi, ili je vidjela, pozitivne aspekte u nuklearnoj energiji, piše DW.

- Čak i ako je proizvodnja nuklearne energije vrlo opasna, skupa i zahtijeva dosta vremena, posebno zemlje i regije bez velikih mogućnosti za eksploataciju obnovljive energije mogu profitirati od nuklearne energije - napisala je Thunberg prije dvije i pol godine na Facebooku.

Predsjednik Češke Miloš Zeman  još je krajem kolovoza ponudio Njemačkoj pomoć u slučaju problema u opskrbi zbog njemačke energetske tranzicije.

- Ako dođe do nestašice električne energije, Češka Republika, kao veliki izvoznik, vrlo rado će isporučiti električnu energiju u Saveznu Republiku - po razumnoj cijeni - rekao je češki predsjednik nakon sastanka s njemačkim saveznim predsjednikom Frank-Walterom Steinmeierom. Susjedna zemlja planirati povećati udio nuklearne energije sa sadašnje trećine na oko polovinu ukupno proizvedene energije, javlja DW.

Značaj nuklearne energije mogao bi dramatično porasti tijekom idućih desetljeća, javlja DW.

Taj zaključak proizilazi iz studije Međunarodne agencije za atomsku energiju (IAEA). Naime, IAEA je prvi put revidirao svoju prognozu globalnog razvoja nuklearne energije.

Kako bi u borbi protiv klimatskih promjena izbjegle korištenje fosilnih goriva, mnoge zemlje razmatraju jačanje uloge nuklearki u proizvodnji energije.

Maksimalni kapacitet nuklearnih elektrana u svijetu bi se, prema procjenama ove organizacije sa sjedištem u Beču, do 2050. mogao udvostručiti do 792 gigavata. To je deset posto više u odnosu na prognoze predstavljene prošle godine. To bi se, smatraju u IAEA, moglo postići samo novim tehnologijama u nuklearnom sektoru. U to spadaju proizvodnja vodika kao i upotreba naprednijih reaktora. Po konzervativnom scenariju IAEA, proizvodni kapaciteti bi mogli ostati više-manje isti, na 392 gigavata.

Prošle godine je u nuklearkama proizvedeno oko 10 posto svjetske struje. Po maksimalnom scenariju IAEA, taj udio bi 2050. godine mogao biti nešto veći, oko 12 posto. Deset godina nakon havarije u Fukušimi, neke zemlje ulažu milijarde u nuklearne elektrane manjeg formata.

Predsjednik Udruženja poslodavaca iz sektora metalne industrije (Gesamtmetall), Stefan Wolf, zalaže se za povratak Njemačke nuklearnoj energiji.

- U idućim godinama, ne samo zbog sve veće elektromobilnosti, imat ćemo povećanu potražnju za električnom energijom, a u isto vrijeme odustajemo od ugljena i ne možemo dovoljnom brzinom graditi potrebne vjetroelektrane - izjavio je Wolf za tabloid njemački tabloid Bild. Stoga se, kako je rekao, sada mora raspravljati o povratku nuklearnoj energiji.

- Ne možemo postati potpuno ovisni o drugim zemljama, od kojih ćemo nuklearnu i električnu energiju kupovati po visokim cijenama - rekao je Wolf.

I Christian Kullmann, šef kemijskog koncerna Evonik i predsjednik Njemačkog udruženja kemijske industrije (VCI), također je kritičan prema mogućnosti povećanja uvoza električne energije.

- Tu se postavlja pitanje trebamo li više koristiti nuklearnu energiju - barem dok ne budemo imali osiguranu temeljnu vlastitu opskrbu, jer ako postanemo ovisni o uvozu, to će biti jako skupo - rekao je u intervjuu za "Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung".

Čak i aktivistica za zaštitu klime Greta Thunberg vidi, ili je vidjela, pozitivne aspekte u nuklearnoj energiji, piše DW.

- Čak i ako je proizvodnja nuklearne energije vrlo opasna, skupa i zahtijeva dosta vremena, posebno zemlje i regije bez velikih mogućnosti za eksploataciju obnovljive energije mogu profitirati od nuklearne energije - napisala je Thunberg prije dvije i pol godine na Facebooku.

Predsjednik Češke Miloš Zeman  još je krajem kolovoza ponudio Njemačkoj pomoć u slučaju problema u opskrbi zbog njemačke energetske tranzicije.

- Ako dođe do nestašice električne energije, Češka Republika, kao veliki izvoznik, vrlo rado će isporučiti električnu energiju u Saveznu Republiku - po razumnoj cijeni - rekao je češki predsjednik nakon sastanka s njemačkim saveznim predsjednikom Frank-Walterom Steinmeierom. Susjedna zemlja planirati povećati udio nuklearne energije sa sadašnje trećine na oko polovinu ukupno proizvedene energije, javlja DW.

Značaj nuklearne energije mogao bi dramatično porasti tijekom idućih desetljeća, javlja DW.

Taj zaključak proizilazi iz studije Međunarodne agencije za atomsku energiju (IAEA). Naime, IAEA je prvi put revidirao svoju prognozu globalnog razvoja nuklearne energije.

Kako bi u borbi protiv klimatskih promjena izbjegle korištenje fosilnih goriva, mnoge zemlje razmatraju jačanje uloge nuklearki u proizvodnji energije.

Maksimalni kapacitet nuklearnih elektrana u svijetu bi se, prema procjenama ove organizacije sa sjedištem u Beču, do 2050. mogao udvostručiti do 792 gigavata. To je deset posto više u odnosu na prognoze predstavljene prošle godine. To bi se, smatraju u IAEA, moglo postići samo novim tehnologijama u nuklearnom sektoru.
