Otkako su se pojavila cjepiva protiv bolesti COVID-19, zdravstvene vlasti diljem svijeta pomno prate kako populacija reagira na ta cjepiva i bilježe nuspojave. I dok je većina onih koji su primili cjepiva iskusila blage ili umjerene nuspojave poput bolova na mjestu uboda, povišene tjelesne temperature ili umora, za neke je primanje cjepiva bilo pogubno.
No, koliko je zapravo osoba koje su primile cjepivo protiv bolesti COVID-19 poslije zaraženo koronavirusom i umrlo i koje se cjepivo pokazalo najboljim?
Singapur je objavio zanimljive podatke o tome koliko je zabilježeno smrti povezanih s bolesti COVID-19 među njihovim građanima koji su cijepljeni. Tako je najmanje smrti povezano s primanjem cjepiva američke Moderne, dok se najveći broj povezuje s cjepivom kineskog Sinovaca, piše Bloomberg, prenosi Zimo.hr.

Kako su objavili, od 802 osobe koje su umrle od COVID-a prošle godine, 70 posto nije bilo cijepljeno, što pokazuje koliko cjepiva mogu pomoći u izbjegavanju najgoreg ishoda.
Među onima koji su cijepljeni zabilježeno je 11 smrti na 100 tisuća ljudi među onima koji su primili Sinovac, te 7,8 smrti na 100 tisuća među onima koji su primili Sinopharm. U slučaju mRNK cjepiva situacija je bolja. Među 100 tisuća onih koji su primili Pfizer-BioNTechovo cjepivo zabilježena su 6,2 smrtna slučaja, a najbolji je rezultat imala Moderna, kod koje je zabilježen tek jedan smrtni slučaj.

Iako ovi podaci pokazuju da je mRNK tehnologija u izradi cjepiva prilično učinkovita i sigurna, singapurski ministar zdravstva, Ong Ye Kung, istaknuo je kako podatke o smrtnosti treba uzeti s rezervom. Naime, iako je u Singapuru cijepljeno oko 87 posto populacije, uzorak je relativno malen i nije u obzir uzimao kriterije kao što su dob i vrijeme od primitka cjepiva.
Podsjetimo, kineska cjepiva koja proizvode Sinovac i Sihopharm nisu odobrena u cijelom svijetu, ali su u širokoj upotrebi u siromašnijim zemljama i onima u razvoju. Iako su jeftinija i razmjerno učinkovita u zaštiti od bolesti COVID-19, laboratorijska ispitivanja pokazala su da čak i s trećom dozom nisu dovoljno učinkovita protiv trenutačno aktualne omikron varijante virusa, piše Bloomberg, prenosi Zimo.hr.

Otkako su se pojavila cjepiva protiv bolesti COVID-19, zdravstvene vlasti diljem svijeta pomno prate kako populacija reagira na ta cjepiva i bilježe nuspojave. I dok je većina onih koji su primili cjepiva iskusila blage ili umjerene nuspojave poput bolova na mjestu uboda, povišene tjelesne temperature ili umora, za neke je primanje cjepiva bilo pogubno.
No, koliko je zapravo osoba koje su primile cjepivo protiv bolesti COVID-19 poslije zaraženo koronavirusom i umrlo i koje se cjepivo pokazalo najboljim?
Singapur je objavio zanimljive podatke o tome koliko je zabilježeno smrti povezanih s bolesti COVID-19 među njihovim građanima koji su cijepljeni. Tako je najmanje smrti povezano s primanjem cjepiva američke Moderne, dok se najveći broj povezuje s cjepivom kineskog Sinovaca, piše Bloomberg, prenosi Zimo.hr.

Kako su objavili, od 802 osobe koje su umrle od COVID-a prošle godine, 70 posto nije bilo cijepljeno, što pokazuje koliko cjepiva mogu pomoći u izbjegavanju najgoreg ishoda.
Među onima koji su cijepljeni zabilježeno je 11 smrti na 100 tisuća ljudi među onima koji su primili Sinovac, te 7,8 smrti na 100 tisuća među onima koji su primili Sinopharm. U slučaju mRNK cjepiva situacija je bolja. Među 100 tisuća onih koji su primili Pfizer-BioNTechovo cjepivo zabilježena su 6,2 smrtna slučaja, a najbolji je rezultat imala Moderna, kod koje je zabilježen tek jedan smrtni slučaj.

Iako ovi podaci pokazuju da je mRNK tehnologija u izradi cjepiva prilično učinkovita i sigurna, singapurski ministar zdravstva, Ong Ye Kung, istaknuo je kako podatke o smrtnosti treba uzeti s rezervom. Naime, iako je u Singapuru cijepljeno oko 87 posto populacije, uzorak je relativno malen i nije u obzir uzimao kriterije kao što su dob i vrijeme od primitka cjepiva.
Podsjetimo, kineska cjepiva koja proizvode Sinovac i Sihopharm nisu odobrena u cijelom svijetu, ali su u širokoj upotrebi u siromašnijim zemljama i onima u razvoju. Iako su jeftinija i razmjerno učinkovita u zaštiti od bolesti COVID-19, laboratorijska ispitivanja pokazala su da čak i s trećom dozom nisu dovoljno učinkovita protiv trenutačno aktualne omikron varijante virusa, piše Bloomberg, prenosi Zimo.hr.
