Prema očekivanjima, predsjednik Sirije Bashar al-Assad premoćno je osvojio novi sedmogodišnji mandat, pobijedivši na izborima s 95,1 posto glasova, uz visoku izlaznost od 79 posto. Sirijci u domovini glasali su u srijedu, dok su birališta za izbjeglice otvorena još prošlog tjedna u sirijskim ambasadama širom svijeta.

Kako je iznio sirijski ministar unutrašnjih poslova Muhammad al-Rahmoun, od ukupno 18.107.000 Sirijaca u zemlji i inozemstvu s pravom glasa, na izbore je izašlo njih 14.239.140, odnosno 78,6 posto, a Assad je dobio preko 13 milijuna glasova.

Od dvojice protukandidata, nešto bolje je prošao Mahmud Ahmad Marei, bivši generalni sekretar pobunjeničke koalicije „Nacionalni front za oslobođenje Sirije”, koji je dobio 470 tisuća glasova (3,1%), dok je bivši ministar Abdullah Sallum Abdullah iz Socijalističke unionističke partije osvojio 214 tisuća glasova (1,5%).

„Hvala svim Sirijcima na visokom osjećaju za patriotizam i zapaženom učešću. Za budućnost sirijske djece i njene omladine, počnimo od sutra našu kampanju rada na stvaranju nade i izgradnji Sirije”, rekao je Assad nakon objavljivanja rezultata.

Promatrači s četiri kontinenta

Iako su izbore nadgledali međunarodni promatrači iz Europe, Azije, Afrike i Južne Amerike (odnosno iz Rusije, Kine, Indije, Brazila, Južne Afrike, Venezuele, Kube, Nikaragve, Bolivije, Ekvadora i Armenije), Zapad ih je unaprijed proglasio „nelegitimnim”, odnosno „niti slobodnim, niti poštenim”.

Konkretno, protiv sirijskih izbora protestirali su ministri vanjskih poslova SAD-a, Britanije, Francuske, Njemačke i Italije, tvrdeći da je „Assadov režim” uskratio glas raseljenim Sirijcima i sirijskoj dijaspori.

Iz Damaska su uzvratili da Sirijci u tim zapadnim zemljama nisu mogli glasati isključivo zato što su nabrojene zemlje tokom proteklog desetljeća zatvorile sirijske ambasade.

Kao što je poznato, Zapad je u sirijskom ratu podržavao Assadove protivnike, odnosno međunarodnu islamističko-džihadističku koaliciju, ali je predsjednik Sirije – uz vojnu pomoć Irana i Hezbollaha, a od 2015. i Rusije – uspio poraziti neprijatelje i sačuvati jedinstvenu Siriju (osim sjeverozapadne pokrajine Idlib koju su okupirali proturski militanti, te naftnih polja na istoku koja pod okupacijom drži vojska SAD-a).

Upravo je ratna pobjeda, tvrde analitičari, glavni razlog ovako uvjerljivog Assadovog izbornog trijumfa.

'Sirija ne pleše po melodijama SAD-a'

Na prošlim izborima iz 2014. godine, kada je teroristička Islamska Država (ISIL) držala velike dijelove teritorija Sirije, Assad je pobijedio s 88 posto glasova, uz također visoku izlaznost od 73 posto. I tada je bilo jasno da uživa veliku popularnost raznih slojeva sirijskog društva, pa je bilo očekivano da nakon ratne pobjede ta popularnost još i naraste.

„Većina Sirijaca Assada smatra liderom koji je vodio zemlju kroz ovaj komplicirani rat. Također ga doživljavaju kao osobu koja može čvrsto stajati pred zapadnjačkim nadiranjem, te drže da je on taj koji može sirijskom narodu pomoći u uspostavi stabilnosti i mira”, tumači sirijski politički analitičar Taleb Ibrahim za libanonski portal Sawtbeirut.

Što se tiče zapadnih prigovora na regularnost izbora, sirijski analitičar ocjenjuje da oni potječu iz nemoći Zapada da sruši vlast u Damasku.

„Zapad će se uvijek suprotstaviti svima koji se ne uklapaju u njihov dnevni red. Pružit će podršku i diktatoru, ako taj diktator odgovara njihovim ciljevima. Sirija ne pleše po melodijama SAD-a i to je razlog zbog kojega je SAD ne podržavaju. Ovo je dio njihove politike, koja kažnjava sve koji se ne pridržavaju njihovih pravila. Vidjeli smo to u Iraku, Iranu, Rusiji i drugim mjestima. Sirija nije iznimka”, zaključuje Taleb Ibrahim.

Prema očekivanjima, predsjednik Sirije Bashar al-Assad premoćno je osvojio novi sedmogodišnji mandat, pobijedivši na izborima s 95,1 posto glasova, uz visoku izlaznost od 79 posto. Sirijci u domovini glasali su u srijedu, dok su birališta za izbjeglice otvorena još prošlog tjedna u sirijskim ambasadama širom svijeta.

Kako je iznio sirijski ministar unutrašnjih poslova Muhammad al-Rahmoun, od ukupno 18.107.000 Sirijaca u zemlji i inozemstvu s pravom glasa, na izbore je izašlo njih 14.239.140, odnosno 78,6 posto, a Assad je dobio preko 13 milijuna glasova.

Od dvojice protukandidata, nešto bolje je prošao Mahmud Ahmad Marei, bivši generalni sekretar pobunjeničke koalicije „Nacionalni front za oslobođenje Sirije”, koji je dobio 470 tisuća glasova (3,1%), dok je bivši ministar Abdullah Sallum Abdullah iz Socijalističke unionističke partije osvojio 214 tisuća glasova (1,5%).

„Hvala svim Sirijcima na visokom osjećaju za patriotizam i zapaženom učešću. Za budućnost sirijske djece i njene omladine, počnimo od sutra našu kampanju rada na stvaranju nade i izgradnji Sirije”, rekao je Assad nakon objavljivanja rezultata.

Promatrači s četiri kontinenta

Iako su izbore nadgledali međunarodni promatrači iz Europe, Azije, Afrike i Južne Amerike (odnosno iz Rusije, Kine, Indije, Brazila, Južne Afrike, Venezuele, Kube, Nikaragve, Bolivije, Ekvadora i Armenije), Zapad ih je unaprijed proglasio „nelegitimnim”, odnosno „niti slobodnim, niti poštenim”.

Konkretno, protiv sirijskih izbora protestirali su ministri vanjskih poslova SAD-a, Britanije, Francuske, Njemačke i Italije, tvrdeći da je „Assadov režim” uskratio glas raseljenim Sirijcima i sirijskoj dijaspori.

Iz Damaska su uzvratili da Sirijci u tim zapadnim zemljama nisu mogli glasati isključivo zato što su nabrojene zemlje tokom proteklog desetljeća zatvorile sirijske ambasade.

Kao što je poznato, Zapad je u sirijskom ratu podržavao Assadove protivnike, odnosno međunarodnu islamističko-džihadističku koaliciju, ali je predsjednik Sirije – uz vojnu pomoć Irana i Hezbollaha, a od 2015. i Rusije – uspio poraziti neprijatelje i sačuvati jedinstvenu Siriju (osim sjeverozapadne pokrajine Idlib koju su okupirali proturski militanti, te naftnih polja na istoku koja pod okupacijom drži vojska SAD-a).

Upravo je ratna pobjeda, tvrde analitičari, glavni razlog ovako uvjerljivog Assadovog izbornog trijumfa.

'Sirija ne pleše po melodijama SAD-a'

Na prošlim izborima iz 2014. godine, kada je teroristička Islamska Država (ISIL) držala velike dijelove teritorija Sirije, Assad je pobijedio s 88 posto glasova, uz također visoku izlaznost od 73 posto. I tada je bilo jasno da uživa veliku popularnost raznih slojeva sirijskog društva, pa je bilo očekivano da nakon ratne pobjede ta popularnost još i naraste.

„Većina Sirijaca Assada smatra liderom koji je vodio zemlju kroz ovaj komplicirani rat. Također ga doživljavaju kao osobu koja može čvrsto stajati pred zapadnjačkim nadiranjem, te drže da je on taj koji može sirijskom narodu pomoći u uspostavi stabilnosti i mira”, tumači sirijski politički analitičar Taleb Ibrahim za libanonski portal Sawtbeirut.

Što se tiče zapadnih prigovora na regularnost izbora, sirijski analitičar ocjenjuje da oni potječu iz nemoći Zapada da sruši vlast u Damasku.

„Zapad će se uvijek suprotstaviti svima koji se ne uklapaju u njihov dnevni red. Pružit će podršku i diktatoru, ako taj diktator odgovara njihovim ciljevima. Sirija ne pleše po melodijama SAD-a i to je razlog zbog kojega je SAD ne podržavaju. Ovo je dio njihove politike, koja kažnjava sve koji se ne pridržavaju njihovih pravila. Vidjeli smo to u Iraku, Iranu, Rusiji i drugim mjestima. Sirija nije iznimka”, zaključuje Taleb Ibrahim.

Prema očekivanjima, predsjednik Sirije Bashar al-Assad premoćno je osvojio novi sedmogodišnji mandat, pobijedivši na izborima s 95,1 posto glasova, uz visoku izlaznost od 79 posto. Sirijci u domovini glasali su u srijedu, dok su birališta za izbjeglice otvorena još prošlog tjedna u sirijskim ambasadama širom svijeta.

Kako je iznio sirijski ministar unutrašnjih poslova Muhammad al-Rahmoun, od ukupno 18.107.000 Sirijaca u zemlji i inozemstvu s pravom glasa, na izbore je izašlo njih 14.239.140, odnosno 78,6 posto, a Assad je dobio preko 13 milijuna glasova.

Od dvojice protukandidata, nešto bolje je prošao Mahmud Ahmad Marei, bivši generalni sekretar pobunjeničke koalicije „Nacionalni front za oslobođenje Sirije”, koji je dobio 470 tisuća glasova (3,1%), dok je bivši ministar Abdull...
