Europska komisija je u srijedu predložila produljenje uredbe kojom je ukinut roaming za sljedećih deset godina.

Sadašnja uredba, kojom je ukinuta naknada za roaming unutar EU-a i Europskog ekonomskog prostora istječe 2022. godine.

Sada se predlaže da se to produlji do 2032. godine. Osim toga, nova uredba osigurat će potrošačima  pravo na kvalitetu i brzinu veze svoje mobilne mreže u inozemstvu kao kod kuće, gdje su dostupne ekvivalentne mreže. Nova pravila osigurat će i učinkovit pristup hitnim službama.

Prema istraživanja Eurobarometra, 33 posto osoba koje su putovali u EU žalilo se na smanjenu brzinu mobilnog interneta kada su u inozemstvu u odnosu na brzinu koju imaju kod kuće.

Prema novom prijedlogu to se ne bi smjelo više događati. To znači da ako korisnici imaju 4G, a sve više i 5G kao dio pretplate, ne bi trebali imati niže mrežne brzine u roamingu, gdje god su te mreže dostupne.

Komisija se odlučila za novu uredbu jer smatra da još nisu sazreli uvjeti da to samo tržište regulira.

Naknade za roaming su ukinute 15. srpnja 2017. godine. Korištenje podatkovnog roaminga povećano je 17 puta u ljeto 2019. godine u odnosu na ljeto godinu dana prije ukidanja roaminga.

Europska komisija je u srijedu predložila produljenje uredbe kojom je ukinut roaming za sljedećih deset godina.

Sadašnja uredba, kojom je ukinuta naknada za roaming unutar EU-a i Europskog ekonomskog prostora istječe 2022. godine.

Sada se predlaže da se to produlji do 2032. godine. Osim toga, nova uredba osigurat će potrošačima  pravo na kvalitetu i brzinu veze svoje mobilne mreže u inozemstvu kao kod kuće, gdje su dostupne ekvivalentne mreže. Nova pravila osigurat će i učinkovit pristup hitnim službama.

Prema istraživanja Eurobarometra, 33 posto osoba koje su putovali u EU žalilo se na smanjenu brzinu mobilnog interneta kada su u inozemstvu u odnosu na brzinu koju imaju kod kuće.

Prema novom prijedlogu to se ne bi smjelo više događati. To znači da ako korisnici imaju 4G, a sve više i 5G kao dio pretplate, ne bi trebali imati niže mrežne brzine u roamingu, gdje god su te mreže dostupne.

Komisija se odlučila za novu uredbu jer smatra da još nisu sazreli uvjeti da to samo tržište regulira.

Naknade za roaming su ukinute 15. srpnja 2017. godine. Korištenje podatkovnog roaminga povećano je 17 puta u ljeto 2019. godine u odnosu na ljeto godinu dana prije ukidanja roaminga.

Europska komisija je u srijedu predložila produljenje uredbe kojom je ukinut roaming za sljedećih deset godina.

Sadašnja uredba, kojom je ukinuta naknada za roaming unutar EU-a i Europskog ekonomskog prostora istječe 2022. godine.

Sada se predlaže da se to produlji do 2032. godine. Osim toga, nova uredba osigurat će potrošačima  pravo na kvalitetu i brzinu veze svoje mobilne mreže u inozemstvu kao kod kuće, gdje su dostupne ekvivalentne mreže. Nova pravila osigurat će i učinkovit pristup hitnim službama.

Prema istraživanja Eurobarometra, 33 posto osoba koje su putovali u EU žalilo se na smanjenu brzinu mobilnog interneta kada su u inozemstvu u odnosu na brzinu koju imaju kod kuće.
